      The boots are very comfortable! They seem to be well made but only time will tell. Run true to size. Plenty of room in the toebox. They're a little thick for hot weather boots but should be great for the cool months. The eyes are the reason for the 3 stars. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! If the boots weren't so comfortable I would return them due to the lacing system. I will buy some extra long laces so I can leave them laced up and not have to fight with lacing them every time I put them on.

      I received these boots about 3 weeks ago now and they seem to be already broken in. When I was in the Army I really liked the Danner Rivots and the StrikerBolts have a very similar sole. They are very supportive when wearing full gear. I am a Park Ranger now so I am on foot a lot in a variety of terrains. They are very comfortable and have amazing grip. After a long day of being on my feet my back and knees are feeling better than ever. I highly recommend these boots for law enforcement.

      The Striker has the lightness of a running shoe coupled with the toughness and support of a boot. Having owned several pairs these boots, I can attest to their ability to provide consistent support and traction in a number of varied environments. The only thing I do not recommend them for is consistent heavy labor. If you are on your feet all day then this is an excellent boot for you. They do seem to run slightly small. I would order a half size up and get a pair of Danner in soles.

      I've been wearing Striker's as an LEO in Canada for years, from the original Strikers, to the Striker Torrent, and now the Striker Bolt. These have the out-of-the-box comfort and lasting durability you would expect from a Striker boot. This boot loses points with the lacing system and not having a pull loop on the back. I also liked the height of the Striker, these are about an inch shorter. In my opinion, if they put this outsole on the Striker Torrent, that would be the perfect boot for frontline law enforcement duties.

      The boots are comfortable once you get them on. I work a twelve hour shift as a guard, on my feet the whole time. But, getting them on SUCKS. They need a heel loop to help. Get the side zip if you can.

      These boots are above average if you are someone that has been wearing Under Armor or Bates quality boots. However these boots are garbage if you are someone that has been wearing Danner boots of the past. The quality does not live up to the Danner name and they are charging way to much fir a boot that should be priced like an Under Armor boot. Wish you would bring back the Rivot TFX or make an updated version of the Acadia. Danner, bring back the boot making to the USA and make higher quality boots. The followers will pay the higher prices for better boots.

      I am a huge fan of Danner boots but have a problem with their boots - they have too much volume, especially in the toe boxes. This problem was not such an issue with my last pair. I currently have two sets of insoles in my boots to make them fit better. I do wish Danner had kept the pull tab on the boot back as it makes these boots difficult to pull on. It's a little thing but important especially when the lacing system in these boots stays tight even without a knot.

      Boots are comfortable enough once you get them on, however, the lacing system is horrible. They take forever to lace up the upper eyelets if the laces happen to come out. These boots would be great with a speed lace system (where the laces run around eyelets resembling hooks). Don't be in a hurry to get them on.

      1 have bought many Danner boots, I go these to replace my Stikers from 10 years ago. They changed the lace eyelets to something needing a place riveted to the back and they came from the factory missing the backing plate. Completely unusable and gave me 0 confidence in this model. Super unhappy about it.

      Boot was comfi and fit well. Problem was there was no boot strap to pull them on the back of the boot. Also the eyelets were too small to lace up boot quickly and laces not long so they pulled through the eyelets. Perfect 8 inch screws add a bootstrap an old-school eyelets and it would be perfect

      Really comfortable. I am on my feet constantly for twelve hours a day four days a week or more. Only pair of boots I never had to buy inserts for. Definitely worth the price. Only thing I don’t like is how the eyelits are designed. Get rid of the ones on the sides.

      I am very disappointed ! I only wear Danner boots and this is the 3rd pair of Striker Bolt's that the heal stitching has failed and the heal leather part has pulled away from the Gortex part. I never had this problem with the previous design Stryker's ???? Because of a foot / leg condition, the Stryker's work great for me. I have purchased over 10 pairs.       This is about my Danner boots. They're well made. The sizing is true. They're comfortable. I always buy Danner boots because of their quality and fit. I read in the review before ordering about the complaints on the lacing system. If I would have known how time consuming the process would be I would have ordered the boots with the zipper. This is why I'm giving it a good vs. an excellent review.

      I have worn Strikers for the past 8 years and these are the best of the line. First, the tread is more agressive. Lacing isn't much of a problem and they have a good snug fit. I find that a Danner footbed works better than the insole that comes with the boot. Also, I am somewhere between a 10.5d and an 11d. I get the 11s and use the Danner footed. This is a great boot. Professional looking and functional, tough and comfortable.

      Not sure if it's just my boots. The inside of the boot where the tongue overlaps turn into a very hard and uncomfortable knot when you lace them up. I've worn mine over a month and they don't seem to be getting any better.
