      Great shoe except for that top rear lace eye. What's that all about? Makes getting boot on & off difficult. Get rid of it then add speed hooks for a really GREAT shoe.

      I am not really very satisfied with this boot...though the size, traction and fit are great, they are heavy and they are not comfortable for standing...as I have a pair of X TERRA FORCE that I have been wearing nearly every single day for 11 years or more and I can do everything in them WITH my back injury..!!

      Seriously, buy them. I’ve had them two weeks and I’ve never had such a good pair of boots. I’m a law enforcement officer in Florida, prior army infantry. I work a 12 hour schedule and I am constantly on my feet. For the last 3 years I wore the Danner Tacheyon (sorry for spelling). Those were good, but I was looking for something lighter, with more of a shoe/athletic feel. I got them in the mail pretty fast (standard shipping) and I ordered the inserts for them. There was no break in period, no hot spots, and completely waterproof. They grip very well, and to great in mud. But they are also light and comfortable. Out of the box the first thing I noticed was the craftsmanship on them. Each stitch seems purposeful and unique. They truely feel and look unique and well put together. I can’t wait to put a year on these bad boys and see how well they have held up. So far so good.

      The boots felt ok. They needed to be a little wider especially across the top of the foot around the bottom of the laces and toe and need some kinda insulation in them. But other than that not a bad boot.

      Absolutely love these boots, I also have the 8 " Stryker boots to hard to get on when your old, but thse 4.5 are perfect and comfortable. I work 12 hours per shift with no issues. Only if I could wear them off duty with shorts.

      This is my 2nd pair of Striker Bolt boots. They are sized a little small. I ordered a half size larger than my first pair, which were somewhat uncomfortable. This 2nd pair's fit is perfect! Construction is stitched around the edges and glued on the toes. Very stable, as the sole flares outward to make a broad base. Very good tread for good grab on wet surfaces. Seems this would also make an ideal hiking boot. As a delivery driver in a rural area, I cover lots of uneven terrain. These boots traverse it with ease.

      I only wear them once a week because they aren't as soft on the bottom of my feet as I thought they might be, though they are better/softer/more cushion than other boots from Danner that I have worn. I just need a softer insert that will fit and then they may be ok.

      The quality and solid construction of these boots is immediately apparent from the hefty gauge of the leather, to the strong stitching. I have worn them everyday for work for nearly four years and am just replacing them now. Other than the Vibram sole wearing down, as expected, the boots remain in great shape, with no damage.

      The comfort is excellent, the front of the boot is wide for my toes, stability is excellent , the heel has the feeling that it's being sucked in which feels great and weight is what you would expect from a boot made this good. All in all an excellent boot.

      The boot is very good, my only complaint is it feels like there is not enough cushioning in the soul. However, there is always a breaking in period and I’m getting older now! I spend a lot of time on my feet at work. Otherwise very happy with the boot.

      They started off comfortable and fit great but the tongues would slide and cause irritating pains on the high ankle area and then a month into having them total of 5 times worn the right boots outersole split completely in half and the left you can see is starting to do the same SO DISAPPOINTING AND I’LL PROBABLY NOT BUY ANOTHER PAIR OF DANNER AGAIN
