These are good quality boots. Very comfortable, fit well. In my case they didn't really even need broke in.

Boot Barn is a great store! This is my 4th pair of boots (Dan Post) and quality is always #1. Also have purchased jeans and shirts and believe me, they are 100% better than buying at local retail stores.... The quality is better, and more durable.

quality control has gone down hill, the boot was marked in my size but when trying them on I could not get my foot passed the shaft. they had to be at least 4 sizes to small.

The boots have a nice comfortable fit. However, the boots have a strange smell that does not resemble leather. The sole of the boot looks like a man-made material, not leather. Overall, the quality and construction of the boot looks cheap for the price. I am not sure if I am going to keep them.

I’ve worn these for about 3 months now and they are very comfortable. They feel great on fit like a pair of gloves for your feet. They have held up well so far but only wear them on week ends not for work.

The boot's leather looked great right out of the box; the first flex and they already had that "broken-in" look. Good fit too. Great value.

The boots are fairly well made … The removeable insoles is a stupid idea.. If I would have known I would have passed.

Inside ankle seam on left boot is so sloppy the boot can't be worn. Without causing skin loss & bleeding, extreme pain , discomfort. Regret buying !!! I post negative feedback on Facebook daily. Horrible quality.

Pure Dan Post great fit and styling right out of the box

As I o opended the box, a fresh leather smell was already in the air. The boots looked amazing, the embroidery with vibrant color accents. First try-on they fit, course I need to go through the break in but I knew the fit was right. The break in was what you would expect, the top of the shafts to some work, totally tearing up my legs, but was rushing the break in, three weeks in, all is good, even walking through an airport.

I bought these boots online. Dan Post boots fit, are well made, and a good value. These are plain boots and are for "every day" wear. A previous pair of Justins did not hold up. I will probably limit my boots to strictly Dan Post in the future.

Second pair purchased for my cowboy. He likes both & has an old black Ostrich pair of boots, so these are great also on his eyes.

Was so excited to finally find an authentic cowboy boot in a wide width. Got them and they were much too big for my usual size 9. Easily an inch too long beyond my toe. Returned them for a smaller size that I hope fits because I could love these beautiful boots forever!

The boot feels like it is already broke in and they feel sturdy. I bought them on line with out trying them on and they were too big.apparently Dan post is 1/2 size bigger than Justin boots. Simple return and the right size felt great!!

The product and delivery was great. The site didn't change to show that I had actually placed an order and lead to some confusion. The response was quick from the email I had sent.

I plan to wear this boot casually with jeans and khakis. When I bought this boot I wanted a darker boot with some distressed look to it. I was disappointed at first until I started to "wad" the boot in different ways...it gave the boot some light tones along the folds and bends after "wadding" the boot. Cool special effects. Of course if you prefer to let it distress or lighten with natural wear that can be done also. Very comfortable boot.....just got them yesterday so I cant tell you about the durability. The look and comfort is spot on with me. The reason I rated this boot at four stars was because of loose material toward the toe wasn't adhered down properly and it tended to wrinkle under my foot. I placed a little adhesive underneath and it functions perfectly now. I would buy this boot again if I was the type person that would want to buy the same boot again and again.......I prefer to change up. I am very satisfied with this boot overall.

I didn't keep them because I didn't like the color as much as I thought I would, bought a different pair. They seemed to be well made and fit fine.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! Great style and very comfortable. They are more durable than some of his previous pairs and they seem like they'll last a lot longer

I bought these boots fully expecting them to be just as good as the ones that I bought 6 years ago. Same style and same size. I've been wearing a size 11 boot my entire adult life and Dan Post boots are my favorite. But they've changed this boot. It is narrower in all parts of the boot. I can barely get it on and getting it off is like trying to get out of a straight jacket due to a much narrower ankle area. The foot itself is so tight that in just a few minutes of wear it rubbed my instep raw. I made the mistake of walking out to my truck and back and it scuffed the sole so I can't return them. Beware.

Boots don't have to be higher priced to be comfortable and look good. These boots were easy on the dogs right out of the box. No break-in was required and they've worn well. Speaking of worn, they look like they've handled four-five cattle drives when received and have aged even more in the process. Good investment.

I'm having trouble with the Dan Post line. Last few tries at Dan Post have been either been a size too small or a size too big. This pair was 1.5 size too large. Thus, I had to return them. Looking to buy another brand of boot now. Sheplers has a great return policy.
