    Color Matters!

    I have owned Dan Post boots before so I knew I would get a high quality product. What I didn't expect is that the color of the boots would be about three shades lighter than represented. I like the boots but now still need to buy another pair that will be darker.

    These are my second pair of Dan Post Mignon boots. They are always comfortable, well constructed, durable. Keep 'em dry though.

    The term "Classic" has been abused; true classic "cowboy boots" had pointed toes. This snip toe is a sharp looking, very close replacement, now that all the modestly priced ($125-200.00 range) boots have gone round toe. Justin caved in to the sissies and no longer makes casual, useful, barn-tough boots the old way having discontinued the j4 toe in all but the exotics. Round toes are for shoes...if you care to wear them!

    I recently purchased a pair of dan post boots here. They were priced very well and and shipped fast. I had them less than a week from date of purchase. However I ordered the wrong size, and had to ship them back to exchange for a smaller size. I'd like to start with the positive feedback. Sheplers provides free return shipping labels, and their customer service reps are extremely pleasantand hhelpful. Unfortunately the return process is very slow. The return label ships via usps, which is much slower than ups. Also the boots I ordered looked nothing like they did in the picture. They looked to be a very dark red brown, but they are actually a light brown. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Just wish they could speed up the return process and work on the depiction of color of boots in online photo.

    This is my second pair, first pair still going strong but a bit weathered. Needed a good pair for Church so I ordered these. I have several Tony Lamas and Justin and several Dan Post. These Dan Post are good everyday boots and will last.

    Went on the Sheplers web site and saw this boot. Now it may just be me, however, even when you enlarge the picture , doesn't the boot seem to have a Maroon tint to it? Imagine my surprise when I received the boots and they were BROWN. Now maybe its my eyes or my computer, but it could also be that the picture of the boot is inaccurate as far as color representation goes,... and who the Heck knows what color BAY APACHE is??????? I like the Snip Toe, the fit is perfect, haven't had a chance to wear them all day yet so hoping for the best.

    I have worn Dan Post boots for years. They wear well, last for years, are comfortable and look great! Other brands may cost more, but they can't beat Dan Post for quality and workmanship.

    I bought these boots for my hubby, he is a fan of Dan Post boots. He prefers the pointy toe but he is satisfied with the snip toe. They look great with jeans. His old pair of black Dan Post boots are ten years old, just got them re-soled and polished so he still wears them.
