First pair of Cody James boots, die hard Ariat buyer (I own 10 pair). I wear boots everyday, and these were comfortable from the moment i put them on. Solid construction, all leather sole. I van tell i will be wearing them for a long time.

The boots are super comfortable. They do run a size small. For example 13D is closer to a 12D. So I had to order a size 14D. Altogether a great boot.

Cody James boots have no support. These are more dancing shoes your going to wear for a short amount of time. Not for everyday wear or for working. Look wonderful but they definitely need to work on getting a supportive sole to compete with Ariat comfort.

Gorgeous boots at a very fair price, however the construction is mediocre. The stitching inside the top is rough to the point where I cannot wear them without developing whelps around my calves. Little burs around the top become unbearable after 3-4 hours. I’m going to attempt to fix them without ruining them.

Boots slipped right on out of the box. No break in necessary. Boots made in Mexico and have a high quality of workmanship. Cody James and Dan Post boots have the best fit of any cowboy boots that I own.
