I wanted to give slip ons another try, but even with the composite toe I find them extra heavy on the feet. They're comfortable except for my right big toe seems to rub against the composite toe box, but not my left, so that could be a personal problem. I haven't wore them long enough to tell you how they'll hold up. I've had them for a month or so, but I don't wear them all day, because these boots require some break-in time, in my opinion.

I enhoued the look of the boot but the lack of inner linner on the heal and that they were truely water proof is disappointing

I love these boots. They definitely should just be used as works boots. (Because They are pretty heavy) Although they sure look fancy! Haha Probably the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. Also very supportive. They felt great immediately. Very good on hard surfaces as well as muddy or icy conditions They seem very well made and I expect they will last a good long time. Only minor complaint would be the top is wider than most cowboy boots. Definitely need boot cut jeans with these. Bottom line the they are great and I’m very happy I got them!

I have had these boots for the better part of 6 months now. My daily work requires heavy duty footwear that better be able to take a beating. Despite scratches, and mud, they have held up wonderfully so far. Still waterproof and no signs of tearing seams where normal workboots do. They are extremely comfortable, though slightly heavy - but a good compromise when needing strength. I love the upper design and color as well - all around my favorite workboot thus far. Size seems to run a bit big

Order a half size bigger. That’s what I did and very glad I did. I think if I ordered right on my size they would’ve been a little tight. Other than that these are extremely comfortable and so far holding up great

The boots are comfortable, however, I bought them on early Feb. 2024 and within just a couple of weeks the sole has already started to separate from the boot on multiple spots on both the left and right boot. The toe on the right boot has already worn through to the safety toe. These boots were quite expensive to show such wear after only a couple weeks and I am not particularly rough on them. If they had a bit more durability I would be completely satisfied with them. I was hoping for better

This is my first pair of Cody James boots and I'm pleasantly please. Very little break in time and extremely comfortable. My whole shift is spent on my feet both inside on hard tile floors and outside in and out of a tractor and in the ruff. Affordable price and stylish.

Less than a week into breaking the boots in and huge chunks have come out of the toes, inside of the sole is peeling and wearing and uncomfortable. Rather disappointed considering when Boot Barn bought out Shepplers they raised the price from 169 to over 200.
Should have just gone with the Justins.

I wore the boots for a few days and they eventually caused a lot of pain in my feet, ankles and knees. Im guessing too much arch. I ordered extra wide, but the safety toe is not wide enough. It rubbed my toes and caused discomfort after a few days. Im really disappointed. I had to order another pair of boots elsewhere. Im going to try to sell these to recover some of my loss since boot barn does not stand behind what they sell if you wear the boots outside.
