I love these boots!!! Comfortable yet very protective. Size is true to your boot size.

These have got to be the most comfortable boots I ever worn. They fit like a glove and I wore them for 15hours on the first day I had them, it was if I had been wearing them for years, no break in soreness or any of those first day tender spots. I have since then had them in the water up to my ankles, the mud, and just about every other thing you could throw at them and they made through like a champ. I would highly recommend these boots for women hunters, shore fisherladies, or even just around the ranch. I wear them everyday and I am even buying a second pair.

These boots are great. I bought them to wear in the cold weather and the rain. They're very cute and will go well with dresses... much better than rainboots or snowboots in appearance. Although, I would order it in a full size smaller. I wear a 7 and ordered a 6.5 and it is still about a half a size too big if not a full size.

Bought these to wear in snake infested pasture. The first time I put them on, they were tight across the foot bridge, as most western style boots are, but they "broke in" really quickly, and they have the most amazingly comfortable soles! I absolutely love these boots! I can wear them for hours and my feet don't hurt. The bonus is that they're pretty nice looking! Even my style-conscious daughter likes the look!

I have given Chippewa Women's Snake Boots 3 stars...because the boots are too tight at the instep. I ordered my normal size (8.5D) and the instep was too tight. I returned the books and ordered a 1/2 larger (9D). The length was better, but the instep was still too tight. The Throat was getting too big. The boots have straps, but they are totally decorative. If these boots came in a wide width, I would order again in a 9Wide. But D at Boot Barn is a Medium width. Wish Boot Barn carried Chippewa Women's Snake Boot in Wide Width.

These are awesome boots- they look good, and offer the protection needed against venomous snakes, which are so active here in the fall. I got a Hal-size bigger to accommodate thicker socks. Highly recommend these boots!

I bought these in preparation for a trip to a ranch resort in Sonora, TX. My husband already has a pair and he recommended that I purchase. The boots are ONLY available online. I used the size guide to determine my size and then cross referenced with my rain boots -- Purchased a size 8. These boots are a normal width but they do run narrow with the in-step (the part that goes over the top of your foot). To fix I simply used my husbands boot shoe forms and left them in over a couple of days to stretch out the leather. Easy! These boots are expertly made and constructed with the best quality materials. I wore them all weekend & received so many compliments - walking thru the brush to the hunting stands, looking for sheds, horseback riding, etc. They also clean up easily, brush off the dirt/dust and a clean damp cloth.

This is the third pair of these boots I’ve had. They take a while to get broke in but are worth the effort! I wear them most of the winter in Oklahoma. I have people comment all the time on how cool they look , they are nice enough looking to wear to town. I work outdoors so for me they are comfortable, warm and extremely durable. Plus the knowledge they are snake proof is comforting as we have pigmy rattle snakes:( I wear a size 61/2m in most boots and that is what I wear in this boot.
