Chippewa Men's Steel Toe 8" Logger Work Boots is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work boot I have now had these boots for a year they are the best work boot I have ever had. I'm 67 years old and have worked as a union carpenter for 32 years currently retired. I found that they fit me so well that it helps support my feet when I have pain from arthritis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3rd pair! I can get 2 years out of these boots and still hate to retire them as they have plenty of life left!I put them on right out of the box and can wear them all day.I am on my feet a lot and the extra height of the logger style is good for my back.the only time my feet are wet is when they sweat slightly as they are always warm.would recommend to anyone in construction, landscape, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best work boot I've ever owned First off I had a great buying experience with Boot Barn. Best price I found online and even got a free promotional Chippewa thermos and coffee mug. Shipping was free and FAST. Couldn't recommend them higher. To the boots... This is my second pair of these exact boots. Bought the first over three years ago and they finally wore out enough to warrant a new pair. I wear them at least 5 days a week, year round. Never got a blister or sore feet... not even once that I can recall. I am on my feet all day and in a variety of different environments. Lots of mud, sand, blacktop, gravel situations and these took it like a champ. It may sound crazy but I almost had a sentimental attachment to my old pair. They were so good and were with me through so much that when I threw them out, it almost seemed I should have buried them instead. Hard to wear a pair of boots for the better part of the last three years and easily chuck them in the trash. But after completely wearing down the traction to slicks, it was time to pony up. If I had a small quibble with them is they run a bit big(?); In that I usually wear an 11 or so but a 10 1/2 with Chippewa's. Also they are a tad narrow. I have a fairly narrow foot and still need the "W" width of these boots. They fit me great but someone with truly wide feet would have an issue. But those are minor concerns that only somebody blindly ordering them without trying them on first would run into. I can't find a reason why I should ever buy another brand/style work boot. I'm sticking with the Chippewa 8" Logger Lace-To-Toe boot til they stop making them... or I retire in 30 years. Hope the later comes first. Hows that for a recommendation?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great boots I've had these only one couple weeks. It took till the second week of wearing them to get them broke in, but are pretty comfortable now. I deliver groceries, so walk up and down a steel ramp all day so will see how the souls last.
