I received these overalls as a gift and I love them. They fit well, are true to size, and love the color.

IN LOVE! I've been looking to buy a pair for a little over a year now and I'm so happy I did. I would recommend going a size up as the ability of putting a sweatshirt underneath is wonderful.

When I got this jacket I had a long list of requirements for it: I do a lot of farm work, but I also bike commute to school throughout the winter, so I needed (among other things) something with flexibility, zips and snaps for the wind, a hood and collar (also for wind), water resistant material and something that looked stylish and professional when I got to class or work. This jacket was the only one I could find that checked all my boxes. This jacket does have all of the features I want in a jacket, but I would make a couple of tweaks for a truly ideal jacket: particularly while biking I find that I want more stretch across the shoulders. Also, although I am not the curviest person I know I find myself wishing the fit were a little curvier, with more room in the chest and more tuck at the waist. It would also be nice if the torso was just a little longer (IF longer, it would also need more flair to accomodate wide hips). As far as craftsmanship and quality, I was surprised to find fibers from the insulative lining poking through the quick duck shell weeks after I got it. I snipped the loose fibers as close to the duck as I could and have not noticed any further issues.

Really good quality and well made. Should be marketed for work in colder temperatures as the heavy material can cause chafing in the heat. Otherwise no complaints, gets the job done.

I am so beyond happy about this purchase. I was incredibly hesitant to purchase the women's bibs (6 months of hesitation). I am 5', 160 pounds, and have small hips. I ordered the L-S and I knew I would need to take them in to the tailor to get taken up a few inches because my regular inseam is 26". I tried them on and they fit way better than I ever expected. I washed them and took them to the tailor. Now, they are perfection. I can bend down and over, reach up, zero issues. I do recommend to take your measurements before ordering. I am really happy I took the time to do that. I will definitely order again! So happy with the look and quality of these Carhartt's.

I bought and returned because they were going to be too hot for summer when I needed them. But I wanted to say they fit great, and were very well made, perfect double seams, no loose threads. If I was going to be working outside, these are the one's I'd get. '

5”7.5. 127lbs ( tall and skinny ) ordered size XS Tall I must say I absolutely love these overalls ! Only thing is that the straps need to extend more or have longer torso. I had to return . Material was great , color , and etc. Sadly , size was just off for me.

I bought these for working in the garden. The reinforced knees are perfect for preventing wear and tear when kneeling to plant. And they are comfy! They don't fall down, but it would be nice if there was a little more room to adjust the straps.

I use mine every year for hunting season and they never fail to keep me warm!

I've been searching for something to weld in. Apparently you still have to want butt hugging clothes when you're working because there everything out there is form fitting with spandex, rayon, or other plastics. Until I found these. I bought these without owning any other Carhartt gear so not knowing my size. I opted for the "tall" because I hate short pants when on my knees welding an underside corner. These were true to size. I'm a standard build at 140, usually wear size 6. I ordered the tall small and they fit perfectly; they are slightly baggy until you button the sides and then they don't move at all. They have really long legs which i could have gotten a regular but I'm just going to roll them up so works great. The suspenders are elastic and but not adjustable - they can only move maybe a 1/2 inch. I haven't used them yet but very soon!

Wish the straps could pull tighter. Good amount of room in the legs and hips if you’re curvy. I’m 5’ 0” and 105lbs for reference. Need to roll bottoms but that’s normal for me. Bought an extra small, would be swimming in it if I was any smaller.

Love love love my purchase. I bought these overalls to get some gardening and yard work done. I didn’t necessarily need them but I am SO happy I bought them. Don’t even second guess it, BUY these. Super functional, great deep pockets, straps are comfy! Couldn’t be happier with these overalls.

I’m 5’4”, 110 lbs and I bought the XS tall. I usually wear a size 0 pants and have narrow hips. They’re pretty baggy on me still but I wear them over other pants and a hoodie so it’s fine. I got the tall as I have a long torso and usually end up with a wedgie in overalls... The legs are definitely long so I hemmed them to the perfect length to cover my boots. I’ve been wearing them for stick welding and haven’t felt any nasty sparks at all!

Fit like a glove with just a little extra wiggle room which makes them super functional for all types of work. Typically a medium, so was hesitant about ordering a small... however the size chart is quite accurate. I would have been swimming in mediums. For reference: 5'6 140 lbs purchased small reg. Length is perfect and just brushes the ground in the back when barefoot. HIGHLY recommend.

I am petite and received that size, but the legs are still too long. The straps are limited on how short the length is. Material and durability are great, just wish they fit better for my 5'3'' frame.

I liked the fabric, color, but the medium was slightly too snug and the large was huge and way too long. Also, I could not adjust the straps to pull them up the length I needed. I am very bummed that I had to return them. Please rework the straps/buckle so one can have a greater length adjustment.

These overalls are my favorite article of clothing. I'm obsessed. I wear them all the time. They're comfortable, durable, and cute. They have so many excellent pockets! I'm always so frustrated by how small the pockets are on femme cuts, but not with these! Everything about them is perfect. I'm 5'2" and 140 and I got the Medium Short size. It fits a little loose but I'm not swimming in it. I could probably fit into the Small if I was trying to go for a slim fit but that's not what I'm looking for with overalls. If I was any taller, the Short length would be too short, but for me, they fit perfectly.

So I'm not doing the intensive work they were really intended to do, but I love them. I'd say these were pretty true to their measurements. I'm quite short and curvy (5'3", 140-ish lbs), so I did the best I could and got a L short size. I wish that I could adjust the straps even shorter than the shortest setting, I actually have the shoulder straps safety pinned a couple inches shorter. And I do pretty wide double cuffs on the legs because even the short size drags on the ground for me. They do fit much better after I washed and dried them, a little bit of shrinking helped for me. The fit is far from perfect but they are still so comfortable, functional, and cute that they've become my quarantine uniform.

I have been removing blackberry bushes from a fence line, and wanted something to protect my legs from the thorns and they protect me better than I expected. But other than that I do love these overalls, with my fit alterations they feel good- comfy and seem sturdy, hoping theyll last a real long time! Just wish they were a little smaller.

I ordered the Black in a Small Regular and immedietly fell in love with the comfort, durability, and look. I decided to buy them in a Small Regular in the Carhartt Brown, but they were a tad bit snug. I tried to wear them around for the day, with layers underneath to see if they'd give out a bit - but no luck. I'm curious if Black may run a little big or the Cahartt brown a little snug?

Before saying the negative, i love the look of these and the durability. But I’m Extremely disappointed. I saw the reviews that said these run big and they are somehow short. I thought a small tall would be the best fit. I’m 5’7 and they are running over my feet. I’m more upset with how giant a small is on me. I’m usually a medium in everything else. 145 pounds. The straps have less than an inch of wiggle room if you want to tighten. I’m just extremely confused by these after being so excited to get them.

These were, dare I say, surprisingly flattering. I’m a 10/12 with thick thighs/butt and the size large fit comfortably without being too baggy or tight. They’ll be a little warm for summer but will meet the needs of working in the brewhouse. I appreciate the leg opening os large enough to wear boots underneath as well.

The overall quality is great but the coveralls came without a strap. The strap looks like it was cut off, missing half of the side with the buckle.

love the quality of the material, however the design of the shoulder straps didn't work well for me, there is an elastic piece that made it impossible to tighten them very much. i haven't encountered this in my other carhartt overalls, loved these in all other aspects but I need them to fit good and had to return them.

These are comfy and fit well. The fabric feels MUCH thinner than the standard men's, which makes me assume they're less durable THE HAMMER LOOP IS DECORATIVE. IT IS SO SMALL THAT IT CANNOT HOLD A HAMMER. Are you kidding, Carhartt? Sometimes women want clothes that are functional and not just decorative. Just so offensive.

The comments from previous purchasers on this item really helped with sizing! My wife is 5'5" and usually wears women's medium size clothing. I ordered the medium short size for her, and it fits perfectly. She's delighted. Also, found the best price by going directly to the Carhartt site.

These are so beautifully long if you order the tall size. They are a thinner, softer material so they do stretch out - I am a size 12 and ordered a M, it's possible I could have gotten a small considering how much they stretch out. They do gap around the waist but this seems to be a normal Carhartt thing to provide a thicker waist. They are functional with real pockets.

i love the cover alls....one downside is the adjustment straps get stuck on the buckle because the seam of elastic and denim is bulky...maybe make the adjustment strap seam less bulky. Also the fabric could be a bit more stretchy for comfort...but that is just minor.

The quality and fit are exceptional at this price point, however, the elastic straps stretch and warp immediately. A canvas strap would be a welcome improvement.

I'm 5'11" with a lean/athletic build and have a 32" inseam (size 6/8). I ordered the medium tall. The fit in the hips and waist was loose enough for a full base layer but still flattering. The overall length of these bibs was just right for me. That being said, the torso pattern does not seem to be scaled for taller ladies. Even with the shoulder straps let out to their max length, sitting or bending is wedgie city. I'm small chested and this was a snug vertical fit. A larger bust would be create an even shorter vertical fit. Speaking of the chest, the buckle placement on the front is set in an inch+ from the corners of the chest flap. This causes the shoulder straps to rub on the neck pretty much anytime I move. The other problem with this buckle placement is that a bust larger than an A-cup is going to have issues with the chest flap shifting and basically pushing your chest out of the side of the bibs. I'm sure these are great for the shorter ladies and the quality is top-notch as expected from Carhartt. The tall version needs some help. If the design team would like me to draft a more appropriate pattern for the taller version, I'd be honored. :)

I'm using this for farm work, so it's perfect. Will probably be a little too heavy for summer and I wish it had more of a feminine fit (more of a rectangle), but the durability, deep pockets, and overall fit win out in the end.

These bibs are really great! I bought them for gardening to protect my legs and to be able to hold my phone and tools while I am out there. The material is VERY thick. It is a bit hard to move in them- I am hoping they will soften a little over time. This isn't all bad- they do a great job of protecting me from thorns, insects, rocks, etc. I can kneel in these without using a kneeling pad, which is great. I can tell they are going to last a very long time. I don't know if I would call them stylish- these are not for making a fashion statement, they are for getting work done. I would definitely recommend them.

I like things roomy, so I definitely went up a size from what they recommended, but I’m officially living in these. I can’t wait to get a lined pair for winter.

Very thick cloth so I know it’s gonna last a long time. I like the little buckles it’s different from the traditional overalls. The zip pocket is super handy. I’m a baker and I’ve always had a problem with the pockets on aprons. Now that I wear these overalls all my little tools have a place. I love them!

Weird fit, not flattering at all

After 6 months of owning these, it’s about time to leave a review. These are the best work pants I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn these with long underwear during long snowmobile days in northern Minnesota and they’ve kept out the cold and the wet snow. I’ve worn them everyday during the summer as a field forester; they’re heavy duty but not too hot during warm weather. Super comfy, easy to move in, and a far better alternative to wearing pants with a belt all day. I’m 5’2 and ordered the XS short, and they fit perfectly. Easy to get on and off. I would highly recommend for any kind of outdoor activities.

Back in the late 1980s a friend of mine was cleaning out the attic of his mother's antebellum mansion and found several WWI cavalry uniforms. I had never seen clothing so well constructed, until I tried on these bibs. You just don't find details like the waist reenforcing and brass hardware these days. I was pleasantly shocked at the attention to detail and apparent quality work put into these bibs. Plus, I can work outside all day and feel like I'm wearing pajamas. I plan to buy many more pairs in the future and I plan to attempt to love these to death.

I'm exchanging my overalls for the next size up and crossing my fingers that they'll fit better. A few notes though: The seam where the hip and thigh meet right below the two side buttons is falling apart with the strings loosely falling out of the seam. It appears as though the seam was never tied closed allowing the stitching to easily fall apart. Second, I'm a big woman (size 12/14) I eat my hashbrowns scattered, covered, and smothered. I expect that clothing designed for women will provide space in the backside, hips, stomach, and chest. I have smallish thighs/legs and the space for those body parts was still too tight, making sitting down, bending over and squatting down difficult. I've purchased several items from Duluth trading company years ago that I still wear multiple times a week, size 12/14 w/out any discomfort, ill fit or loose seems, but I was excited to give Carhartt a try as the overalls looked sturdy. Unfortunately upon another look I'm seeing that the models used to display these overalls are all slender people. Hopefully, the next size up provides a comfortable fit for my body, as all people being able to do hard work all day for years and years is why they were created.

I love this garment. It somehow manages to be a bit stylish and fitted while simultaneously being heavy duty and substantial. I can wear it almost everywhere except perhaps a fancy dress ball. But these days maybe even that!

After reading many reviews, I decided to buy a medium short and it was way too large on me (5’2” 140 lbs). Not the biggest fan of the stretchy suspenders. Never got a chance to actually put some wear and tear into them.

Great durable product! I am 5'2" I got a size small with regular length and it fit me great. The straps have minimal adjustment so I sewed them to shorten the straps and they fit me perfectly now!

These overalls are great! I'm 5'2", weigh 115 lbs. and the extra small, short ones fit perfectly. They seem to be very rugged. I got the black ones and they look good and are something a little bit different. The clasps are different also. It takes fitting one part into a slot and then turning. I'm not sure how much I like that. They are a little difficult to put on and off. All in all, I would highly recommend these. The fabric is sturdy and since I tend to wear out the knees first in my overalls, I'm glad to have the doubled up fabric there. I might just have to buy them in the other color.

These overalls are fairly rugged and they fit well, the description has them at the same fabric weight as my older pair of carhartt pants but the washed and sanded duck is not as puncture resistant to thorns or barbed wire. If you’re looking for the super rugged (but stiff) overalls, go to the men’s section and get the “firm duck” overalls.

Sturdy, thick, warm overalls. These have become my weekend uniform -- so much so, i just bought a second pair. Loose enough to be comfortable sitting and crouching. I'm OBSESSED.

I typically wear a 6-8 pant and L shirt so I ordered the L bibs. They were way too big and I had to return them :( sucks there is no measurement chart to go off of.

Wish these came in more than two colors! I wear them constantly. I bought them for practical reasons but get non-stop compliments, even from hip hostesses at restaurants. Only drag is the hammer loop is too small to fit a hammer handle.

Comfortable, but built for someone with a long torso. The straps don’t shorten enough to fix that, either. Also if you plan to tuck your pants inside your boots/wellies, order a shorter version than you think you need. Otherwise, high quality, great value.

About me, athletic build, straight hips and waist, very muscular butt, 5'6", 145 lbs. I've had trouble fitting into Carhartt pants in the past as usually the waist strangles me and everywhere else is huge and baggy. I had all but given up on them but I really needed some heavy work overalls so I thought I’d give these a try. I used the online fit guide to choose my size and it suggested "Small/Tall" based on my Prana pants size of 6 Regular. At 5’6” I’m not tall by any stretch of the imagination but somehow these are just about right. After washing, in bare feet they are about 1” too long but in my work boots (Muck brand) they are perfect, covering the boot shaft but not dragging or “flooding” (I hate flooding). There's no awkward gapping at the side buttons and though I was skeptical of the strap attachments they seem to be holding up fine. These overalls appear to be very durable. I recently built a wire fence and the wiring ripped straight through another pair of jeans when it brushed me. These overalls haven’t even shown a scratch even though they’ve been brushed multiple times. The added bonus is that these overalls may be one of the most comfortable things I own - right up there with yoga pants and long johns LOL.

I’m 5’5”, 125-130 lbs. I chose the size small. They fit like a dream!!! So comfortable with a little stretch. Definitely will be ordering more when they get my size in again! Only complaint is they have a hard time keeping the smalls in stock!

Very strong and sturdy fabric. Cut well. These are definitely heavy duty and will last a long time.

I'm 5'4 1/2" and about 160 pounds. Ordered XL short. Fit true to size but roomy enough for leggings underneath and freedom of movement while wearing for chores and projects around the house. Unfortunately the straps are too long and barely adjustable, which makes the bib hang down way too far, even on the shortest setting. As a comparison, I have an old (and very worn) pair in the men's sizing that are more than 15 years old and those straps fit fine. Sadly have to return.

The fit is GREAT - I always have a hard time with length and these are actually a tad too long but nothing wrong with cuffing them!! Going to order a pair of blue denim ones!!

To preface the review, I am pretty short (5' 0"). I wear a size 8 in jeans, so I ordered these in a medium short and they were giant! They were about 6" too long and so baggy. The worst part was the adjustable suspenders were barely adjustable and had a range of only a couple of inches. I ended up exchanging them for the Crawford overalls (and going a size down); many people complained of the small torso size for the Crawford overalls, but for me they are perfect.

I love the pockets, cut, look of these black overalls. was excited to have these for the scene shop working in backstage theatre. Ordered the M first as I've had problems with other pants being too small from Carhartt recently. I'm a size 6 in pants, 140lb, 5'8" - the M was absolutely massive on me. without the straps on they fell down around my ankles and the crotch came to almost my knees when wearing - but there was still no butt room for bending over and the straps couldn't be tightened because of the way the stretch portion of the straps is made. returned and ordered a S which says (4/6) - they are definitely more of a 4 or smaller. I was comfortable standing in them but sitting, bending, walking, laying down they went up my crotch even with the shoulders extended all the way. extremely disappointing. returning.

I like them but didn’t realize that they were so heavy. I have long legs so I got med tall I have a short torso so I wish the straps could be pulled up further but there stopped by the padding To warm to wear them yet I ordered a lighter pair hope to wear Them this summer

Very comfortable, the leg pockets are wonderful for carrying tools. I am not used to the very roomy fit but realize I could tuck in a very bulky shirt or sweater to stay warm in the colder seasons so that’s a good thing. Run a little long, I will have to hem them about 4 inches, fortunately my sewing machine can handle the heavy weight fabric. Overall I am happy with my first pair of Carhartt bib overalls.

I ordered based on the sizing of a pair of carhaart overalls I got before. This pair runs longer, I should’ve ordered the short instead of the regular length. I am 5’3”. But I just rolled them up. They also are a bit more snug in the hip area. I have the denim alternative and it is more relaxed fit and shorter length. These ran a bit more fitted in the waist too. I still love them though. Still looks good on!

I love almost everything about these bibs. The fabric is comfortable from the get go. I don’t even wear thermals underneath, and no problems with chafing. Pockets are where they should be. The only problem is the inability to shorten the straps. Others have mentioned this. Mine are cinched up as far as they’ll go before being stopped by the elastic piece that goes over the shoulder. I think the elastic is a smart idea (keeps the straps from cutting into your shoulders when you bend down or otherwise stretch) but perhaps it should be moved to the back of the strap so there’s more room for adjustments. (BTW I bought these in brown and love the color and fit, but had to send back the black pair because they were too small in the hips. Someone else mentioned this, and it was true for me, too.)

These overalls fit perfectly. I got a small, tall. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs. They are long enough to wear with boots and not be too short when you sit down. My new favs!!

Love them! ...already owned a pair so I knew what size I needed. Fit great. Love the zipper pocket in the top. Works great for the phone so it wont get dirty or damaged.

These overalls fit great, are super comfortable, durable and are perfect for working in the yard. I wear them all the time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a large so is have a bit more room to wear a hoodie underneath. The size was perfect but the length was a bit long. I just roll them up which is fine! The elastic on the straps is awesome! These are the first overalls that I’ve worn that are actually comfortable for jobs that require repetitive bending over. The pockets are very functional and they definitely seem like they will last forever. I’m tempted to order another pair so I never have to wear anything else!

I'm 5'2" & 115 lbs and the x-small, x-short fits me perfectly! I love the black style.

This was my second order. My first order was the double front bib overall size Medium Tall. I am 5'8" tall, 150 lbs. It fit but was tighter than I wanted and too long. I then ordered this one in a Large , Regular length. It was way too long. So I am now going to try the Double Front Bib in a Large, Short. Will keep you posted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SO comfortable. I’m 5’7’’ and 180 pounds. I normally wear a large and that’s what I got. They fit perfectly. Even have some room to wear something bigger under it! I got them in long so I could roll them if I wanted too. They fit well length wise regardless. New favorites

These overalls fit perfect and are nice material. I got medium short and I am 5'4" and 140lb. I wear them over my clothes. The only problem I have is that I have to take my shoes off to take them off. It would be nice to have zippers on the legs or at least a bit wider.

They were for my granddaughter. She loves them. She is 18

Love these. They keep me warm and dry working outside in the snow for long days. Super comfortable.

These were great and luckily I was just wearing them for light work in the brewhouse, however they were bigger and looser on me than I had expected. Also I don’t know if I just got unlucky but one of the suspended straps tore my first day working in them, like a straight clean cut. And although in the future I should maybe try a size L short (as I usually have some material hanging past the heel of the boots and it usually gets scuffed up eventually) but I was very surprised as to just how tattered the cuffs at the bottom of my overalls got after one wear. I’m sure these are normally great, but maybe I just got unlucky or they were not suitable for the work I was doing.

These bib overall's are just what I need. Ordered and they shipped quick only bad thing is no Canadian stores sell them so thank god it was a quick process from my american friends. Love them and this is from and outdoors kinda girl who dresses for the job and Carhartt is the way to go!

These overalls are made very well. They feel “worn in” and comfy. I like the bit of elastic on the straps for bending and squaring comfort. Love the worn black color and the over all fit. I’m 5’5” 140lb. and got the regular length- Size small. probably will get the short length next time, but I like rolling things so not bothered. The photo shows one leg rolled and one down. They brush the floor even with a boot with a short heel.

Durability is great but I wasn't psyched about the fit. Kinda big in the belly and I bought a "long" but it just wasn't. Not only are the legs not especially long but I had to add extra elastic in the straps to be able to wear them (and I am only 5'10"!)

lovvveee these overalls! Great length and fits true to size:) I’m 5’10”, with a 29 waist, and I got a medium tall. It fits perfect!! I wear it all the time:)))

Exactly what i wanted. Ive been eyeing these bibs for a while. I'm happy they got rid of the cinched waist. If there was one thing that I would say is a negative, it would be that they will take a while to break in because they are so stiff.

They are great. Comfortable, sturdy, and I enjoy the look.

I put these on and stash my Felco clippers in the side holster and my phone in the front pocket and I am good to go. No more will I wear old saggy lycra infused jeans to garden in. No longer will I pause to yank them up. The fit is true to size. The straight leg pant is extremely roomy feeling and a bit unnecessarily big when wearing summer gardening clogs but I'm sure I'll appreciate it in winter when wearing tall boots.

I am petite and received that size, but the legs are still too long. The straps are limited on how short the length is. Material and durability are great, just wish they fit better for my 5'3'' frame.

I am 5'11", weigh 150 lbs, and have a normal/slightly athletic build. I usually get a 34" long inseam on pants, so I ordered the "Tall" version of this bib. I bought both the Medium and Large. The medium was way too tight and the pants not nearly long enough - they stopped at my ankles. This is definitely not a "tall" version. The Large size was way too baggy around the hips and thighs, and even still I think the length could've been a bit longer. Ended up having to return both pairs.
