These pants look great but aren't functional, at least for actual work. My second day of wearing them, a big hole formed in the knee. My job involves lots of bending, squatting, walking, climbing. These couldn't keep up. Pretty disappointed.

Absolutely love these pants!!! Great comfort and durability. The only issue I has was the sizing. At first, I ordered my normal size, received them and they were waaaaaay too small. I returned them and ordered two sizes up. Those ones fit great!

I ordered the size 6. I am 5'5", typically size 4, and curvy with skinny legs. The pants were so tight on my legs and butt it hurt. It also has no stretch at all. And since I'm curvy, the wasteband was tight on my stomach but super loose on my back leaving a gap. I wouldn't recommend this if you are curvy or plan to be bending over a lot. Size up at least 1 size.

Love these pants plenty of deep pockets, especially the two on the right thigh!

These pants are comfortable and flexible enough to move around in as much as I do, but they are not a very accurate fit. I had to go up 2 full sizes from what I normally buy in the original Carhartt pants and they are still snug. I went with the long length and the are just about right at the ankle. If your taller than 6’, i wouldn’t recommend unless your looking for short pants. They do shrink up if you wash with warm water and/or dry so keep that in mind!

Not a fan of these pants. They run quite small. I am 5’3” and between a 6 and an 8. I am what’s considered curvy and I could hardly pull these pants up. Not to mention they have absolutely no give or stretch. I really wanted to love these, but they are not a slim fit. They are designed for an over all slim body.

For my curvier girls with big thighs and butts order a size or two bigger then your size so if you're a 14 order a 16 or 18. You might have to roll the pant legs up some. But overall love them just need a bigger size LOL

i love these pants!!! I followed the general consensus with ordering one size up and they fit like a glove!! There is just enough stretch to make them super comfortable but thick enough to take a beating. I'm highly considering buying the other color,.

As a frame of reference my go-to size in most stores is a 14, curvy fit. So I figured I would size up to a 16 to have more comfort bending and crouching for work. Sure these would fit my waist but I can't even make them past my hips. Please for the love of all things good on this earth, Carhartt make some work pants for curvy women! This is beyond frustrating. Large thigh and butt women beware.

I love Carhartt, but lately have been disappointed in their quality in women's work wear, I like the features (could use side pockets on both sides for lefties) I pulled on these pants for the first time today & a belt loop broke! THE FIRST WEARING! Come on Carhartt, I work in the TV & Film industry, 12 hr days, I wore through 3 pair of shorts in 1 season. Boot Barn, you are Awesome! no complaints at all! Based on other peoppes reviews, I ordered a size up from my normal size. They were HUGE! I normally wear a 2, sometimes 4 depending on the brand, but this size 4 was huge. Idk if they changed the pants because of all the complaints about them being too small, but now they're huge and not even a slim fit. I cant tell the 2 will also be way too big, and they dont come in a smaller size. Please make these pants fit like normal and make smaller sizes! I was so excited to have these pants for work and now I'll be sadly returning them.

It took me two tries to get these pants, I wanted them so bad! The first pair was a size 6 (my size in another carhartt style) and they were too small. For reference I am 5'2" and 140 pounds. I went ahead and ordered two sizes bigger based on how small the 6 was. The size 10 fit perfect. I love them they are very easy to move in without being baggy at all.

Did not like them. No give to the pant and runs small.

I got a size 8 which was my suggested size, but the legs are baggy and short on me, unlike the photo of the model, and the hip is tight. Also the material isn't as stretchy as I'd hoped. Just not comfortable on me, hope they work for others!

I absolutely love these pants. The durability, fit, comfort and style make these pants more than work it. I’m 5’7 and usually wear a 27. I order a 4 and 6 in the y’all and the 4 fit perfectly! I even had a little extra to cuff the bottoms. 10/10 would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'2", 120lbs, and not very curvy. I ordered size 2 based off reviews. Normally, I wear size 26 jeans, petite for length. Though these aren't offered in short, they're not long. They stuff well into my boots, are durable, fit my tools nicely, and sit just below my navel (helping with weight distribution if i have heavy pockets). Glad they fit. I should mention that if I had any more hips, these would not have fit.

I bought a size larger like other reviews recommended but they were too small, so I ordered the next size up and they were the same freaking size. Also these pants won’t fit well unless you have bigger hips and a smaller waist FYI. I wish they did fit but the size scale is all wack and I gave up trying.

The fit of these are perfect, not too loose but still form fitting. Can be worn on the farm or dressed up

The only thing better is the slim fit crawford double front pant from carhartt. I do wish the "long" had more length.

Love these pants, but they run VERY small. My husband ordered my usual size for Christmas (size 8) and I could barely get them over my knees! After reading reviews here that said size up a size or two, I re-ordered a size 12. I probably could have gone with a size 10, but I don't mind that they're a little big.

I was hoping these pants would have more stretch and comfort when sitting, bending, etc. I did buy them on sale, I would not have paid full price for these.

Ordered my usual size 8 and 1 size up just in case, both were a no go. Ordered size 12 and 14 and both were also a no go. If you’re curvy or have a big butt these pants won’t work for you. They were tight on the thighs and made my butt look flat. They’re nice, good quality pants and I’m bummed they didn’t end up working out for me.

I got my pants and love the fit and how they look. I was wearing them for the first time today and put my hand in my pocket only to discover it came with a hole included. So bummed. I am a long time Carhartt fan and know this is not the norm but am still disappointed.

Love these pants for work—“business casual” I’m supposed to wear business clothing but I prefer this style. I wear both colors and no issues. They’re not super stretchy but I got a size up. They did shrink a bit but still fit. They have big enough pockets which is preferred to most other women’s pants with other brands,

I normally am a size 8 in jeans and pants and got these in 12, the same size I get for my original fit Crawford’s, and these are significantly tighter all over. I’m gonna go ahead and say I’m continually wearing these pants and don’t intend to stop, mostly because they fit my work needs but if I’m honest, they are fairly uncomfortable. These fit more like a low-rise pant on me which is really awkward when I need to bend down as we all know crack kills. The waistband feels like it’s gaping wide open for the whole shop to see and I am always trying to pull them back up and over my butt and muffin lol. Also, I was blessed with what I consider an average sized booty and these do not cradle them snugly and comfortably like my Crawford’s do ): that little crease in the pant just under the cheeks that is vital for booty comfort is just not there. I do feel these are durable and for that reason I still appreciate them.

Thrilled with these pants. I am 5'10, 125 lbs and struggle to find pants that fit well. The size 2 tall is PERFECT for me. Other Carhartt pants (Layton) in the same size are generally still too large for me (please, offer a 0 tall!), but these fit snugly from top to bottom. Waist is high enough and tapered enough that I never need to worry when bending over. The thigh pockets are perfect for a cell phone or pair of pliers, though the "hammer loop" is too small to use as a traditional hammer-holder - can hook a pliers or cutters on it, but that's about it. Stocking up on these - wish they also had them in denim and gray!

Great pants! Make sure you order two sizes bigger than you are. I’m a size 4 and had to get a size 8 and even that was snug. I couldn’t get the 4s past my hips they were so tight. It says the pants have a stretch material but I can assure you they do not stretch.

Absolutely love these work pants. I hope they never stop making these. Luckily I tried these on in store because I had to size up quite a bit. I am a size 28 waist and purchased a size 10. They fit like a glove and stretch out nicely during the day.

The quality of the pants is great, however, I could barely get these pants past my butt. I even ordered a size up. Once I got them on, they felt awfully uncomfortable and tight near my thighs.. They are I’ll-fitting and do not fit like any other pants I own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am tall and curvy, I ordered a size 10 and a size 12. Normally, I am a size 10 in Carhartt but these said Slim so I bought a size up. I was right, the size 12 “fits” me but I do not feel comfortable in them while working. The material is thin compared to other carhartts and not good for a woman working outside in Alaska. They may have been designed for a smaller framed women who probably would wear them to work inside or go fishing in during the summer.

Great cut, style and comfort. Only a 4 star because it’s be nice for a little more stretch in a work pant.

I bought a pair of these in store a couple years ago and wear them all the time. Bought two more when I saw they went on sale online! They fit great, the pockets are functional, and they are incredibly durable.

I love my pants...As previous reviews stated, they are somewhat tight but I find that they are true to size and do loosen up a little bit as they get worn. I love them!

Perfect fit for me, great for working in or outdoors, comfortable stretch and easy to wipe off dust and dirt. Love them! Warmer than wearing workout leggings, but just as comfortable!

I didn’t need to order two sizes bigger, so I’m ordering a size down this time around. . Waist leaves a bit of a gap in the back, but going down a size will help this time around. I’m in love overall, the fabric is perfect for all weather conditions imo.

I bought these pants hoping to wear them to work out on the farm and to ride in. I own 7 other pair of Carhartt jeans (4 of the Layton skinny jean in different colors, 1 pair of the Layton bootcut, as well as 2 pair of the now discontinued Nyona jeans) ALL in a size 8 that all fit me perfectly. Based off the reviews to "size up" I ordered these in a 10 tall because I have long legs and read that they are also pretty short. I wouldn't know, because they don't go over my thighs. They are too small and there is no stretch to this fabric at all. If you have muscular legs or any curves what-so-ever I would recommend going for the Layton jeans over these. I ordered these because I liked the khaki color and wanted something different but it turned out to be a waste of money. I will be giving these to a friend who can hopefully get some wear out of them.

As others have recommended, I had to buy a size up from my normal carhartt size. The pants are cute, but especially tight in the butt. I have a very active job, and these pants tore in the knee after only 6 months, where other pants have lasted for years. However, I am glad that carhartt is making stuff for smaller people (intentionally or not). I usually have to get their smallest size, and I'm definitely not the smallest person. There are a lot of women smaller than me that work hard. Make them pants. Love, Val

I've been waiting for a fitted women's work pant in black for years and it's finally here. The material is very soft but feels durable and the waist line does not gap at the back. I am 5'8" 115 lbs and ordered a size 2. These pants fit much tighter than the crawford double front slim fit pants so be aware of that when ordering your size. My only complaint is that I wish there was another cellphone/pen pocket on the left thigh because its nice to separate markers and tools from my cell phone. I love the hammer loop on the left upper thigh. I use it to hold my knife while working because i think it might be a little small for an actual hammer. All in all, I'm pleased.

I am between size 6 and 8 (in other brands) and fit into Carhartt lightweight utility leggings size Small, and I ordered size 10. They overall fit well, with a waist gap. I liked these pants but they don't have much stretch to them and the finish is not that great. Threads come out from all the seams. Most of them seem just loose threads and hopefully washing will help. The pants are quite tight on the calves but leave room in the waist. However, it is hard to avoid gapping since they are not stretchy.

So many reviews said they run small, but I followed the sizing chart and size 4 is perfect. I'm 5'1" with 28" waist, 36" hips. The size 6 doesn't feel much bigger, but they're longer so bunch at my ankles since I'm so short. Don't go by height/weight estimates, go by actual measurements.

By far the best work pants I've ever worn. I liked them so much I went back to the store the next day and bought another pair. Handy pockets, mid-rise, stretchy, and they stay put...no yanking them back up! I am a 28 inch waist and an 8 fits perfectly. They do run a hair small so size up one. I'm a landscaper and they stand up to the abuse I put them through. Worth every hard earned penny.

I gave these a 3 because the material doesn’t stretch as much as my previous pair I bought (that Carhartt just discontinued #102079 Slim-Fit Parker Dungaree, which I’m super mad about because those had 68% cotton, 30% polyester, and 2% spandex and they actually STRETCHED, oh and had a cell phone pocket, which needs to come on all your woman’s pants) and the sizing is waaaay off. I think the 68% cotton, 30% polyester, and 2% spandex needs to be in more of your pants for the tradeswomen out here in the field getting in some VERY UNCOMFORTABLE positions. 98%cotton and 2%spandex is pretty much worthless for the average sized woman.

These pants are very great quality! I'm around 5'7-5'8, 130lbs, and ordered my true size, 4Tall in both colors! I was very reluctant to order true to size as the comments seemed to agree on ordering a size up, however a size up would've been too large for me. I'm not very curvy, so I'm guessing this is why the 4Tall was a perfect fit. I have to say there is a difference in fit between the two colors. The Yukon colored pants are more straight fit, while the black colored pants are more of a slim fit. Also, the inseam doesn't seem to be a true 34" inseam, they seem slightly shorter. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of these pants!

Make sure you order 2 sizes up from your normal pant size, these run extremely small! Will be returning mine...not sure if they're worth a reorder after reading some of these reviews...

I will definitely concur that fit in the crotch, inseam is a little form fitting. But I love how they look and they are bulky it at. Too thin for the base layer but I'm happy this is even an option for this brand to have a khaki that I can put in a boot that's cute and I can work outdoors in.

I read reviews that said this pant ran small, so I ordered a size up (I normally wear a 6 in most pants but the 8 fits me perfectly.) I do wish the legs were more tapered so that they would fit into my boots more easily, but other than that they're great (they look more tapered in the photo than they actually are). I came here to purchase a pair with fleece lining but they're out of my size (boo!) They're rugged with lots of useful pockets. Highly recommended for work outdoors!

I actually like the fact that it is not super skinny -- it is just slimmer than regular work pants. They have low stretch - but that only means that it will last longer. All in all they are comfortable durable pants.

I like the design, slim fitting pants are fantastic when working around a lot of moving parts... the closer the fit the less chance of your clothing getting caught in machinery. However the sizing on these seems quite different than other women's Carhartt pants. In every other women's pant Carhartt offers, a 6 fits perfectly. When I purchased these the 6 was so tight I couldn't even pull them up much less button them. I would order at least a size up, probably 2 if you want these to fit like other Carhartt pants

I got these pants because I want to start wearing more functional pants in every day life. I wanted something I could feel good in wearing around town, but that I could also use doing work around the house and yard. I ordered a size up since I recently got a pair of Carhartt shorts a size larger than I normally wear (8 instead of 6) and they seemed to work well. I also have an athletic build with muscular legs, so I wanted to make sure I'd still have room to move around in these. They are sooooo tight. The material does not give at all. I have to do a dance to get them on. Once on, they look nice and I've worn them around, but I could never comfortably get any work done in them. They kind of defeated my purpose of having a fashionable and functional pair of pants, as I see them as only fashionable with zero function.

I regularly wear a sz 4 in Carhartt pants. I own 5 different pairs and was never disappointed. These are strange. The calves are super tight and the the overall fit is very small. Will eventually try a size 6 but very sad about these pants :(

I’ve had the jeans for work for less than 3 weeks. They already have two whole on them and then yesterday they completely ripped. I’ve never spent so much on jeans and had such an overall bad experience so quickly. I deserve my money back.

I'm more of a short and thick legged person, tried these on in a 6, which I wear in most pants, and had to size up. The 8s were wearable, but with no stretch, I'm sure they would be a little uncomfortable to work in. The size 10s were way too big in the waist.

I have 2 other pairs of Carhartt pants, both size 6. These do not fit at all. They look well made though and the color is nice. I'm just sad the sizing is so off. I have to gove a rating of 3 all the way down because of the sizing problem.
