Carhartt Women's Quick Duck Jefferson Traditional Jacket is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I was debating between the Jefferson and the Cryder. They seem to be about the same warmth level. While the Cryder has a hood and the full-swing back, the sleeves were too short. I opted for the Jefferson...the fit is great, including the sleeve length. It also has a double-ended zipper, which to me is a must for a hip-length coat that you want to wear while driving. While it doesn't have the full-swing back, it does have pleated elbows so the cuffs don't ride up when you're moving around. I might miss having a hood, but other than that I love it. Already wore it on a cold drizzly day and stayed warm and dry, just had to grab a hat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite coat! I purchased this jacket in the wine color and it is beautiful. I went up one size based on review and the size chart. This allows me to wear layers under the coat. I like all the pockets, the length gives me good coverage for warmth and the ribbed cuffs also keep cold wind out. The elbows have tucks that allow for ease of movement which is nice when wearing layers. I really like the two-way zipper, too. I wore this coat the first time today to walk my dog and it was 30-degrees with a wind chill of 19-degrees and I was very comfortably warm. Love this coat! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering and functional! Really happy with this coat! Lightweight, long sleeves, beautiful plum color, warm but not suffocating, easy to drive in, long body, good zipper. As a plus size girl, it’s hard to find something I feel confident in, but this coat made it almost easy! I’m hoping the collar will relax a bit as the coat breaks in. I’m 5’8” and weigh 260 and the 2X is comfortable enough with just a shirt on underneath, but will fit great with a hoodie if needed. Very flattering coat after having a baby 6 months ago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this jacket So, I purchased this jacket in a store in the Tarmac color. Under flourescent lighting it looked sort of army green but when I got it home in natural light it looks more brown. (like, moss brown?) I love the color. I'm 5'8, 140, long torso and long arms, purchased size Medium. The length everywhere is perfect. I tried the Cryder jacket last year and it was sized for petites, so that one went back. Lots of pockets in this one (2 inside which is a big plus, not a lot of brands do this is women's jackets, I guess they assume I carry a purse. *eye roll* ) and the outer pockets are nice and deep but don't add bulk to your waist area. Whoever designed this jacket is smart. It's very comfortable, not restricting but doesn't look sloppy either. This will be a great fall and spring transitional jacket for where I live. It won't be warm enough for deep winter for me, but that's ok.
