Runs Largeish. Hood is weird.

So I wear 12/14 clothes regularly but any other brand coat I wear XL 14/16. I wish I would have sized down to a large in this. No time for returning it because I need a coat now. Next purchase I will know better. It will be fine over my coveralls but looks like I am wearing a bell without them. The hood is too small to go over my hard hat and definitely too large to go under it. If you need a FR coat you are probably wearing a hard hat. I would love this coat without a hood. This coat is super warm though!

Has this jacket for a year I work in refineries and travel for work and I'm from Texas and it does a great job of keeping me warm in the cold states! I normally wear a M but got a large so I can layer in it and I probably would have been fine with a M! Overall it is one of the best jackets I own! But I will say it makes me look frumpy and bigger than I am it's not as feminine looking in person as the pictures

I manage outside construction work and really appreciate the extreme warmth and wind resistance of this coat. The only complaint I have is that the sherpa lining makes it difficult to put on across the shoulders It seems to stick to whatever you have on. But a bigger size would have left too much room for cold air to get in. But well worth it.

Literally nothing will get through this jacket

This jacket is amazing. Living in Michigan you become custom to the cold but I have never had a jacket where I didn't feel too hot, too cold - but just right. Great for those bitter windy below 0 days.
I'm usually a Large in jackets and went with a medium - still have room to wear a hoodie or a thick sweater.

Warmest women's fr carhartt available. Unfortunately mine has a hole in it under the right arm, after working in it for 3 months.

This jacket runs a little big. I got an extra small and I can still wear a sweatshirt underneath without feeling snug. Also, the jacket is a little heavy.

I love my carhart jacket but its time to upgrade. I saw this beautiful warm jacket online and jumped on it, however, when it arrived the material was not the same as my current carhart, this material was soft and more like suede, every dust particle sticks to it. Plus the sleeves are shorter than I like. I will be returning it.

Not a very feminine cut, almost makes you look a bit bulky, but warm and does the trick.

Big, Bulky, and Heavy. How can anyone work in this jacket. I returned the jacket the day after I received it. I couldn’t even put my arms down to my sides...The jacket was so bulky.

Loving my 1st Carhartt

Absolutely love this jacket!! It is a thick enough to provide me the maximum level of warmth I need whether is 60 degrees or 30. I love how thick it is while also super flexible; meaning I can wear to do just about any activity (hiking, shooting, camping, fishing) and I do not feel like its to heavy. My husband gifted me the RF because I am easily flammable and over Thanksgiving the jacket proved itself to be HIGHLY effective. This is my first but will not be my last.

Expensive but well worth it. Outside for a majority of the day in -16C weather and the jacket has been toasty.

Ecstatic to find an X-Small!

Carhartt items are always too big, but this is one of the rare times I have found an X-Small. It is great, and will keep me very warm this winter. I selected standard shipping and it came faster than I expected. Way to go Carhartt - thanks for remembering the little people that work out in the world.

Very nice quality. Water sheds right off when wearing it in the rain and keep you warm. I love the stretch panels in the shoulders and the elbows, it makes this jacket SO comfortable to move around and work.

Way too big
Sadie

Way way too big this is the most expensive coat for women On the website and the sizing is totally off as others have said this coat is too big and can’t work in it I had to return I got a size Medium which should be right according to the website size chart
The model must be wearing a size too small or they are clipping the back and front to make it look more fitted
See pics I posted
I am 5’8” and 155 lbs and ordered a medium
