    I absolutely love this jacket. I borrowed my boyfriend’s one time at a bonfire and fell in love. I like my jackets oversized and due to what was available and what I have been able to try on, I went with this jacket. I am usually a small in women’s clothing, which is why I chose to buy small even though it is men’s sizing. I absolutely love it! It’s super comfy and warm and perfect for just about everything needed for daily work and play.

    I really like this jacket, it took me about 2 weeks to decide to purchase, I finally made the decision to order. I ordered a 2XL because im a big guy, it was too big even for me. So im returning it and ordering one size smaller. No biggie but i cant wait to get the jacket again.

    Love the quality but I wish they offered it in an XSmall

    I went with this jacket in particular because I saw a lot of people say it runs small/tight. Which sounded great for me because I'm 5'6" 115lbs. Unfortunately for me it still runs a little large but if I wear a thick sweater it fills out nicely which is why I will keep it. Although I wish it fit more like the model in the picture who modeled the army green one (who looked similarly built to me) who was able to fill it out with just a t-shirt. Besides the fitting it's a great quality jacket and I love everything else about it especially the scrunchy wrists and the nylon lined sleves

    well it looks good however very dissapointed with general quality was not available in dark red as I had in the past the zipper is to small light duty for a work jacket[Not easy to hook together and when it is it fights being pulled up just like a cheap zipper] my red jacket, from the 90's the zipper was large and easy to start. My two biggest dissapointments were it was not made in America and the stretch bottom that is not on my new one lets all the warm air out when your working - and moving .Sorry guys you had it figured out lot of years ago but you lost it somehow doubt if I'll ever buy another one!

    This is the 3rd Sherpa jacket that I have purchased since I was in High school in 2012. I am rough on clothing, always wrenching on vehicles, sledding, dirt biking and such. I wear the jacket for pretty much 8 months out of the year and they stand up great.

    Just retired my last Carhartt jacket after 20 plus years. this one seems even better and more comfortable then that one did. Anyone who does outside work need this coat or even if you don't and just need a new coat take this one.

    Even the long XL choice jacket is a little small for me and doesn't cover me from the wind when I'm up and moving because of the design of the bottom of the jacket wind goes straight up from the bottom, especially while driving doing my job.

    Awesome Jacket! Looks great, I normally wear either a medium or large and found that the medium fits perfect. So far I’ve warn it in about 40 degree weather with a t-shirt under and couldn’t even feel the cold. I could see wearing this with a long sleeve and being fine in 20-30 degree weather. Overall I would definitely recommend!

    Whether its work or just to have a nice jacket, i wouldn.t buy anythi g else. They last a long time even when used and abused. I.ve had my work jacket for 7 years and its got some wear but it.ll last many more years. Never had any trouble with carhartt and i.ve worn them for a long time. Great products.

    This fit has changed - the slimmer profile and tighter pockets are not good for farm chores. Farmers need big pockets, and in winter I need to be able to add layers in cold weather. It is now more of a fall, cool weather jacket rather than a winter cold weather farm jacket.

    Quality is not like it used to be. Compared to mine old one that’s 6 years old, the cuffs are thinner the hood seam is different and feels less rigged, the fleece on the inside is thinner, and they did away with the leather logo and now it’s a thin fabric. Overall still a good jacket but a little sad with the changes.

    I returned it. If I wasn’t trying to replace an earlier version of the jacket, it would have been less noticeable. However, the warmth and quality have definitely decreased from the past. It went from an amazing jacket to meh. I went with a comparable jacket from another company still based in the US and am very happy.

    Just Buy It! You won’t be disappointed.

    Perfect jacket for those who spend a solid amount of time outside or just want a nice jacket. It doesn’t get overly cold here in Texas so it works great for those days it gets into the 20s, 30s, and 40s. I’m 5’11 around 180-185lbs with an athletic build and longer arms, and a Large fits great. It does fit a little short on the waist but I wear a ranch coat if I’m worried about draft from the wind. 10/10 would recommend.

    Coat Fits great and is nice to wear. I’m 6.3 210 and the large tall fits great. I’m not happy with the Sherpa. It’s super light and thin. Not warm as all. Don’t buy this as a winter jacket. Want a spring fall jacket? This is great.

    Great fitting coat that’s perfect for cold northeastern weather. I usually size up when buying a coat because I like to wear extra layers underneath, like a sweatshirt. I didn’t need to with this one. It fit perfect with my usual size. The sleeves are the perfect length and it has a sturdy zipper. Very well made.

    Sleeves get cold without along sleeve shirt. I knew that going in. I got a oversized to follow my Layer policy.. Hood is warm and appreciate the pocket layout and angle. Is cat and dog hair magnet. But what isn't. Would buy again.

    Best jacket I’ve ever had. I’m 5’10”, 200 lbs, and have 42 inch chest. I have broad shoulders with athletic build. I went with M because I wanted a tighter/form fitting fit. I’d still have some room for a hoody, but the length is borderline short, but works well for me because it’s easy access to front pockets. A L would have worked too if I wanted a looser fit. Warm and cozy. This is heavy duck. I just waxed it and made it even better. Buy it now. It’s awesome.

    I appreciate clothing companies that sell tall sizes, and then when you add to it the quality that Carhartt puts into everything I love this jacket. It is incredibly warm, in fact I wore it to New York last weekend and I layered up with a sweatshirt and was almost too warm.

    I got this to replace the same coat from 12 years ago. I'm no farmer or anything but I'm not easy on it either. It's my primary winter coat. I just wish they had the black in stock, but I went with the gray and am not disappointed. I like this one specifically for the loose fit around the waist. I'm not a fan of the coats that have the elastic band that tends to ride up. They also made the chest pocket slightly deeper so I'm able to zip it shut with my phone inside.

    Excellent coat. Warm and plenty of pockets. My second one. Only complaint is the zipper. It is a little on the weak side the pull on my first coat broke Not the chain or the slider just the pull is weak. Still works though.Zippers ain’t what they used to be. I’m trying to be careful with this one. I’m 6ft 190lbs I bought the XL long fits great. First coat lasted 5yrs Easy wash and dry.

    This a a great Carhartt jacket. True to size. Well made. Should last a long time. I wished the zipper was a little beefier. When I zip up the zipper snags on cloth on the side of the zipper. Maybe if the zipper was a little heavier or a little further away from the cloth it would not snag every time I zip it up. Annoying.

No matter how cold it is outside, Ill be wearing a t-shirt underneath the jacket and be soo warm and comfortable that I tend to forget that it is still winter outside!!     I bought the jacket for my son as a Christmas present. Shipping was prompt. I mistakenly ordered the wrong color so had to return it to get the color I really wanted. Return service was for efficient. The jacket is very well made including fabric and the many details incorporated in the design. The moss green is a perfect subdued shade of green. I would have given the jacket 5 stars except for the fact that the outer fabric is very stiff, and washing it didn't help, and the sleeves are too long. Definitely a quality jacket and just right for very cold weather.

    It appears what you get from Carhartt varies significantly depending on where the item is manufactured. I purchased this jacket a few months back and loved it so much I decided to purchase a second one the same size in a different color. The 1st jacket (made in Mexico) fit perfectly. The 2nd (made in India) feels like it is an entire size smaller. It is about 2" shorter in length. I would expect from Carhartt that if you order the same item in the same size it should fit the same, or at least very close. I just wanted to purchase the same jacket that I loved, but was terribly disappointed when the new one showed up.

    Little short in length for me as I’m 6’4” but not short enough that I’m unhappy with it. Arm length is great but sits a bit higher up than I’d like at waist. Otherwise it’s a great coat.

    I can't give a review about the jacket itself, but I can say that I'm disappointed in my local store. My Grandma was given a week to live, shortly after I placed my order, so I called the store and let an employee know that I was spending as much time with her as possible and wouldn't make it to the store right away. She told me that they hold purchases up to a month and she would put a note on it. 8 days later, I went to get it and it had been canceled by BootBarn and returned to the floor. I understand they have a business to run and maybe the employee was having a bad week too. It was just disappointing during a difficult time.

    This coat and the last insulated vest I bought have small zippers and hand grabs for zippers It's hard for some who works outside to get the coat zipped without taking off gloves every time. Also big and tall sizes are limited compared to regular size items. Needs bigger pockets inside coat for phone etc

    I bought this jacket in January 2021 with a gift certificate from my son. The jacket is perfect for my needs, and I’ve worn it almost every day for walks and other outdoor activities. The lining is warm and cozy, and the jacket is just roomy enough for a bulky sweater or other layering. The large fits well enough— I’m about 6-foot and weigh about 180 pounds. The sleeves were on the verge of being too long. The outer fabric is a little more supple, I think, than that of my lined Carhartt vest. It’s too early to tell how durable the jacket is, but it seems well made. The color is pleasant, and the jacket looks altogether good.

    So let me start by saying I have the hardest time in long sleeve stuff fitting right. I went to tailored shirts and jackets for my suit. That said this jacket is possibly the best fitting jacket I have ever had. I'm 6"2/250 lbs with most of it in chest thickness and back from lifting weights and work. Sleeves go all the way down to my wrist and don't ride up when I extend. Not tight in the back and it flexes with me, doesn't ride up in the back when I bend over and best of all it's not a circus tent in the middle. I have a 38" waist and I could see if I had more of a gut it would be a bit tighter. Seems durable, well made, super warm and comfy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

    My overall impression of your product would be they fit perfectly according to your size carts and very durable.

    Comfortable, functional, and warm, this jacket is exactly what you would expect from a Carhartt work jacket. Equally comfortable for working on my car or having a snowball fight, both things I’ve done in my first few weeks owning it.

    Utilitarian jacket. No bells or whistles. I stand 6'1, 180 lbs; A medium fit well. Room to layer under the jacket, enough room to move efficiently; not too loose, perfect. The materials and construction have held up well. A garment that only gets better with age.

    This jacket is great! So soft it almost feels pre-warn. Very warm. Ive been using it to move bales, cut wood, hunt and hike, and it meets up to all my expectations like Carhartt always does!

    Very comfortable. I was surprised by how comfortable it is. I have an older coat with no hood and it has always been a bit stiff. It is plenty warm.

    Bought it for my husband to work in. He loves it and it looks good on him! Would like to see a style with the sherpa lining in the arms also. He says it's very warm but doesn't over heat in it.

    Love the look and comfort of this jacket. Only thing I would change is the interior flap behind the zipper. It’s too small and catches when zipping up the jacket. Other than that, perfect for our use!

It is very warm, the sherpa- lining is is very comfortable. This has a more fitted feel, so I would recommend going up a size if you wear a Carhartt hoodie underneath.

    I wish I could give zero stars. I own a ton of Carhartt clothing. Carhartt quality has gone downhill, not worth the high prices anymore. 3-5 years ago they sold very high quality products that were very warm and well made. The high price was justified because their products used to last a long time, and work well. Not anymore. Now, their products are cheaper, not nearly as warm, more expensive, and very low quality. Threads coming out as soon as I took the coat out of the package. Inside of pockets made poorly. I have sent several emails asking them to start making one of their old coats, (Carhartt 101442 Men's Quick Duck Harbor Jacket) that they used to sell years ago. this coat was twice as warm, much higher quality, and roughly the same price. Ive purchased 3 carhartt coats this year, and all have been a huge disappointment. Carhartt used to be synonymous with quality and warmth, but now everything is cheap and not worth the high price tag. PLEASE BRING BACK OLD STYLES AND QUALITY

    I bought a Carhartt sherpa vest a year ago and really love it. At times I need more warmth, so I purchased a Duck Sherpa Lined Jacket in the same size (XL). I found, however, that the Duck Sherpa Lined Jacket is a bit larger in size than the XL vest. This was almost a deal breaker, but I'm sticking with it, honestly, because the cost of returning it and ordering another was too much. The quality of the jacket is just fine, and it is warm and good-looking. So, I advise being careful about ordering the same sizes with your Carthartt purchases. Overall, I really like all of my Carthartt purchases through the years.

    Quality is good. Warmer and heavier than expected; a little too heavy for my climate really. Size is far too relaxed. Good lord it’s incredibly larger around the chest and stomach! I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs fairly average build; this is downright baggy, loose, floppy around the midsection. Can’t decide whether I’ll keep it or wear it a lot given the fit. Maybe I need a small? Except then shoulders and arms are wrong.

    Love the fit of this jacket and the fitted sleeves at the wrist. The soft Sherpa lined hood is nice especially when windy out for extra warmth when wearing the hood up. The length of the jacket in the front is a little shorter then the back giving you a little more coverage over your bottom. Seems to be a bit warmer compared to the traditional Carhartt jackets I've had previous years. I think this jacket is worth the money and has a more of a fashion appeal vs other styles.

    My husband is very happy with this jacket. The dimensions of the Medium coat are perfect for his build, at 5’10” and muscular. He likes that the sleeves end in gussets, and loves the overall sturdy build and weight of the coat. Sherpa lining is thick and long-lasting quality. Pockets are a good size and in the ideal location. Dark brown is just as pictured on the website. Would definitely recommend.

    It is a Sherpa lined jacket that is not Sherpa lined in the sleeves! WHY? The nylon liner in the sleeves makes my arms cold every time I put it on! Come on! The jacket is very thin, I live in Minnesota, I need a WARM jacket! It needs to be thicker and have more insulation. And if it is Sherpa lined, it needs to be Completely Sherpa lined inside!

    I'm only 5'10" about 240 lbs . I unfortunately got a good size stomach. So I went with the 2xl plus I like the extra room. But the jacket is extremely warm. Sometimes to warm even in NJ cold winter weather. An amazing jacket I highly recommend. And the hood keeps your head extremely warm. Again 100% would buy again and recommend for those cold winter days and nights

    I had only bad luck with sizes. I ordered one in M and it was way too big, then I ordered one in S and it was way too small. Its looks like carhartt does not like me - I bought another. Jacket from a different company and I am very happy.

    Absolutely love the coat like every other carhartt product I own, but the inside liner separated at the inside pocket a week after buying and has spread. Just gonna consider it an isolated incident but still disappointing. Not unusable, and I’ll say probably the first flaw Ive run into with a carhartt product so I’m gonna let it ride.

    Just learning a lot about these Carhartt jackets I have an extreme but I find this warmer than my newer extreme well almost a toss up my other one is a J133 I think the fleece lining makes it warmer but it's gray so I chose not to wear this lighter colored one to work my all around one is my J001 from 2018 but for durability I find this and my extreme more durable from damaging equipment I'm around I hope these never get discontinued as these are the last of the best from Carhartt bring back to USA quality.

    I am a 6ft 150lb woman. I ordered a large tall. It is roomy enough to layer multiple sweatshirts and an insulated flannel which is what I wanted. I live in northern Mn. I also like how much it breaks the wind.

    Very happy with this jacket. Warmer than I expected it to be (this is a good thing here in New England). I was a bit concerned that the relaxed fit large might be too big but the fit is great (I'm 5'8 and 175lbs) leaves room for a mid layer but also fits fine over just a flannel shirt. Very comfortable jacket.
