They're a little tight and my tools fall out every time I bend over to pick something up or if I use the bathroom. My measuring tape falls out to if I clip them on. I thought the newer style front chest pockets would have been better but I think the older style might have suited me more. Originally I got them for work but now I don't know what I'm going to do with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my overalls a couple months ago and I’m still hyped on them! I wear them every weekend when I’m working around the house and in the yard. I tried the suggested fit (32 x 34) in stores but found them to be too baggy. I went with the 32 x 30 online which was almost perfect. My only issue is the length of the straps. I’m 5’9 and I have to wear the straps adjusted to be as long as possible. Regardless, these have been my favorite pair of work overalls.

The most comfortable Carhartt overalls I have ever owned. For the first time, I didn't have to do a break-in phase with them like traditional Carhartt. Example of traditional Carhartt break-in: drag behind a truck for 100 miles wash with every load of laundry for 6 months soak in softener These just came in the box broke in. It was amazing.

I usually wear a 32x34 but these run a bit longer in the inseam, not a problem though. Great look and feel and awesome functionality with many compartments and stow aways. Love them.

I like the material a lot and the immediate feeling that they were broken in. Two things I don’t like: 1. Legs are cut narrow down below the knee; more narrow than the traditional duck bibs 2. Pencil pocket design is not optimal; if you bend over doing something, pencil falls out. A pen with a clip would be fine, but I use an old school lead pencil 95% of the time at work.

Nice “lighter” weight. Great flex and break in right outta the box. Great comfort, can’t rate durability yet as I’ve only worn them a few weeks. Ordered my regular Jean size and fit great. 34.

My husband loves his Flex Rigby Bib Overalls because they aren’t as heavy as the regular bib overalls. Also, they are softer and. Have a litt stretch in them that make them fit perfectly. He wears them every chance he gets.

Very comfortable. I really like how they are a more tailored fit than traditional overalls, not tight but fit just right so the legs aren’t billowing out. They are thinner so wearing in warmer weather is possible. These are my new go-to overalls.

Worn for half a day and these bibs are stained and won't come clean. I've never had a problem with any other Carhartt bibs. Very disappointed.

Great for wearing with my Muck boots in mud, rain and snow. My heavier weight bibs don't fit inside high boots and the get wet. The Flex Bibs wash and dry like regular weight pants. I'm really glad I waited for theses to become available again and didn't cave in and buy something else. Will buy another down the road.

I stocked up on these bibs as I’m off to NZ for a year contract and I have found anything quite as durable as these there.

After washing/drying the length shrunk about an inch making them a perfect 34" length. They fit great and the fabric is super soft --yet durable. Love all the pockets! I want another pair. Wish there were more color choices.

Absolutely my favorite bib. Fit is great with waist one size up from my normal since there's really no reason for the waist to be snug on a bib (usually 30x32 in pants, got these 32x32). Material is most comfortable I've ever had in a bib. Material is thinner than other models but the smoother texture means they catch on less stuff which prevents some kinds of wear and tear so for me it balances out. Recommend the similar denim option if you want comfort but sturdier and maybe a bit warmer in winter. Please make these in more colors! Would wear them every day if I could get another couple pairs in other colors.

Best pre broken in overalls ever. Super comfortable right out of the store. No need too wash 15 times just to soften them up.

Feel like I'm wearing clown pants when I wore my other bibs, but not with these. They're super comfortable. I wear them even just for casual because of how comfortable they are. If you're a bib guy, you should definitely consider a pair of these.

I'm an old school type guy retired firefighter and school bus driver I still like to work and be comfortable this product is the best fit for me I've ever had in my life. There isn't much about these overalls that I like. I thought having a little flex in the fabric would be good but the flex seems to have gone away, now they just stretch out. I'm not a fan of the zipper pocket, and the two front pockets are really shallow, my phone and wallet are always falling out, and the soft fabric doesn't hold my tape measure securely. The fabric is really soft, good for comfort but I was expecting a more traditional carhartt fabric. I'm not a fan of the weird extra panel at the cuff, it gets caught on my boots, and in general the fabric twists up in an odd way when crouching. I should have bought a few R01s before carhartt "improved" them.

Love them. I try to wear them every day I can, but the only issue I had is the straps didn't go high enough to adjust. Had to flip them back and sew them higher because even with them adjusted at the highest it could go, still was hanging off my chest. If the straps could go back further, they'd be perfect! Still love them! Just had to do that minor adjustment!

Excellent fit. Stretch fabric is a great feature enhancing range of motion. Wish this style came flannel lined.

My new favorite clothing item for work. Love the gray color, perfectly placed pockets, and comfort to quality ratio is on point. My only two drawbacks are 1, the items in the front small pockets fall out when I take them off ( so I'm sure I should take the things out I guess but I didn't want to) and 2 the straps fall off my shoulders (which is most likely my lack of shoulders...)

These bibs are the most comfortable piece of workwear hands down. I am a Crane Operator I feel the the comfort when I am doing the hard stuff rigging up. And when I am taking my afternoon crane operator nap. Light and durable material don’t want to wear anything else. Hard to get outta them.

I purchased a pair of these, but unfortunately had a poor experience. After only wearing mine twice around the house - hadn't even washed them yet - the stitching started coming apart in several spots. I reached out to Carhartt and explained the situation. They emailed back, asking for several pics of the overalls, so they could make a determination. I emailed the pics back and I thought surely Carhartt will stand behind their product and replace them. Nope. They responded back and said I would now need to mail my overalls in to them for review. While I love my hoodies and beanies from Carhartt, I don't have the same love for their overalls - especially when I pay this much and am forced to jump through multiple hoops to prove their poor stitching. Sadly, you may want to save your money and look at other brands that have better warranties.

Just love them. Always used the original Tan ones but the Flex makes these more comfortable.

The fabric for the straps is a lot weaker with these. The buckle for the snap cut through the actual strap itself after 3 wears.

Definitely a relaxed fit compared to the other style. Almost stretchy. If you want a slim look get a waist size smaller. Careful though if you plan on sitting a lot, you'll feel the difference.

After a year of wearing these 4 times a week my husband finally wore a hole in them. The material is stretchy and much comfier for daily wear than the duck bib but not as durable. Still a great pair of pants. Really wish they'd add more colors like black or even green. I'd buy them all for him! I agree with other review that they fit slimmer than the duck style but they have more give in the material. He wears the same size 42x34 in both but can also fit the 44 just fine

These overalls were everything I was looking for. I wanted a slimmer cut through the legs and something less stuff than the usual duck. This checked all the boxes, I only wish I could get them in 5 or 6 more colors. My true fit guide recommend a 36 x34, but I went with my gut after trying on some various bibs in the store since this wasn't available. I'm 6'1, 225 and these fit me perfectly to wear as normal, no layering underneath. With that said, I could still throw on a bulky jacket underneath and be totally fine. The leg length was great too, the 34s would have been terrible for me personally. All and all I'm extremely pleased with the purchase so far, I'm hoping they hold up like Carhartt products are known to do. Still hoping for more colors though.

I work for the county roads department and I go through a pair in six months, do to me being a bigger fellow my thighs rub the fabric thin and end up ripping right on the inseam, I know it's a specific issue with us bigger people but thought y'all should know

My husband loves these overalls and wears them all the time. He likes all the pockets. They're holding up well & the fit is as expected. The only thing he doesn't like is that the buckle doesn't stay put on the elastic straps.

These have become a week through weekend staple for me. Awesome comfort, they run a little bit bigger, but nothing terrible. Great to work in and hang out in after.

Took two tries to get correct size but I’m extremely pleased with these overalls. They are genuine Carhartt tough. All the pockets are handy and secure even when bending over. I really like not being binded at the waist as with pants. Seems to create a cooler fit.

Amazing comfort and nice to finally have a tapered leg overall. Both the front and rear pockets could be deeper. The doubling of the leg bottoms is a bit bulky and makes folding into a cuff impossible, so be sure to get the right length. PLEASE MAKE THEM IN OTHER COLORS SO I CAN BUY MORE!

The only issue is if you try to use the Carhartt Knee Pads with the flex rigby style is the double knee pocket goes so far below the knee that they end up being shin guards. I use the knee pads in my duck bib overalls and they work perfectly.

The fit is small, could be a lot looser fit, but overall good construction

Fit is Very Accurate, Comfort Level is great. Read other reviews questioning integrity of the shoulder straps and hoping we down have any issues.

Great bibs. Just like my old ones but with a few improvements like the zip fly (easier than buttons) and the zip pouch on the front top. Size seems to run true - a bit long when I’m in street shoes but when I boot up it seems correct. You can adjust the height to some degree with the straps. Make sure to get this model with the cell phone pocket if you keep your phone on your outseam like I do.

Overall I’m pleased. Only complaint I have is the seam at the hip pulled apart slightly on the very first use. Really should have a rivet there. Other than that I’ve been pleased.

I bought 2 sizes up in waist from my jeans and 34 inseam when I’m a 32 and I can barely fit. Is Carhartt trying to gain the hipster crowd?! I have to return because they are inappropriate if I have to pick anything up. That being said, I wish they had a 36” inseam as these are very comfortable. I won’t be able to test durability as I need to find a taller pant. I’m 6’ 2” and 225lbs, seems crazy there isn’t a fit for me here

I have been trying to find a pair of pant’s that fit me properly for a few years and finally I’ve found them . I’m a big dude and for some reason every pant maker thinks if you order larger sizes the legs need to be blimps in size , my legs are fit and these pants fit perfect with no extra material . Thank you . Now make them in black and ill be a customer for life .

I gifted these overalls to my son for Christmas and he loves them!!! Great fit and good for all his outdoor and indoor projects.

I'm surprised to see the average rating for these to be as high as it is. 1 month of wear and holes are already starting and they are fading. The front two hip pockets are to short for anything aside throwing screws into, the back two pockets you'll want to put your wallet in sideways, and the straps with any amount of effort loosen up if you are actively doing any farm work. Overall disappointed with everything about them aside how comfortable they are. I wear the duck bibs all winter so it was a shocker seeing the amount of differences they have between them. 2 stars is because they are comfortable and look good. Comfort and functionality is what I need unfortunately though.

These bibs are super comfortable and feel durable. I can bend and move with ease. Mine are a 42 waist, which is my regular size for pants and my only gripe about that is I can't button up the sides all the way. Maybe its just me but if you're out there and have a gut like me, maybe go a size up or go out to the store and try them on. Its a small gripe which honestly doesn't matter that much to me but I think is worth mentioning. Overall, solid bibs with nice stretch and as long as you make them, I will buy them!

I do carpentry work which sometimes calls for a lot of twisting and bending down and these overalls don't bunch or get too tight anywhere you don't want them too. Great practical gift for anyone who is looking for high functionality out of their workwear.

I love the overall comfort and fit. The flex model is great for mobility! It's nice to have overalls that are fit to pant sizes. Reason behind the 1 star rating is because I ordered 2 pair of overalls and the grey pair, straps, do not hold the position they are set too so I constantly have to readjust the straps.

The Rugged flex Rigby is the perfect balance of comfort and durability! Wear these about every day. If you are only going for durability and the traditional car hart feel, I would go with the regular overalls.

For the first 3-4 wears, the bibs were great. On the 5th or so, the metal piece that attaches the shoulder strap to the chest piece popped off. It was attached by some sort of crimp piece so it's not something I can fix myself. I reached out to Carhartt to let them know about the issue and received no communication back, so I cannot in good faith recommend these bibs. It's unfortunate because, as a brand that used to pride itself on quality and durability, I assumed they would be open to hearing about issues so they could remedy the problems.

we (me and wifey, and all three children) live in our Carhartt's all year long. we typically wear the more heavy duck canvas originals in the fall-winter or when doing heavier work and construction. these lightweight overalls are AMAZING for summertime when we don't necessarily need the durability and heavy construction weight canvas. yes, they are less durable and you'll have to expect wear and tear if you use them for normal "outdoor work" activity, but the fit, comfort and extra breathable weight on these is a nice compromise that to us, is worth the sacrifice on durability. I bought mine last year and wore them right off the rack. refused to take them off for washing for at least a week! shrinkage was more minimal that the heavy duck canvas. must be the stretchy fabric or the rugged-flex blend of materials. well done Carhartt! agree with some others on here that id like to see them in black and khaki or a few other colors. wife wears them out sometimes just because she likes the style. purest in utility-fashion.

Just received my order. Item showed up on time and in great shape. Put it on and will definitely order more they have more in stock. Only problem I have and didn't think about it when ordering was no loop for my wallet chain. Probably not something most would think about as usually when wearing bibs they go over a pair of pants. Otherwise definitely happy with the product as I'll just have to sew in a loop and everything will be okay.

I wish these overalls didn't have such bad defects, they have so many good points otherwise. Unfortunately, as is the case with other RECENT CARHARDTT overalls I've bought all the pockets are TOO SMALL. (I'm using all the other brands of overalls I've bought in the last 30 years, from Foremost to Liberty...) For example, my chiropractor insists that I keep my wallet in my front pocket but my wallet hardly fits in my front pocket and if I did put it in there it would certainly fall out. A certain deal breaker. Also, for the past 30 years I've carried my harvest knife in my back pocket on harvest days. Yesterday, I tried these overalls for the first time and k- ! - the knife fell out TWICE before I decided I simply couldn't carry my harvest knife in my backpacker any longer. Another deal breaker is there's something wrong with the suspender fasteners. I love the elastic portion of the suspenders. Duluth has implemented this design very effectively The elastic material used on the Carhardt overalls is too thing, apparently and they keep becoming unadjusted fast the slides slide down. When they' slid down all the way, they interfere with the fastening and unfastening of the suspenders. They are a hassle to re-adjust if you're already wearing the overalls. I can't really conceive of any reason that Carhardtt would skimp on poker or suspender materials but that's happened with these overalls' I hope they fix these shortcoming one day. I'd love to have a pair of these for every day of the week, if only they were reliably functional

Have worn Carhart Duck bibs for the last 30 years and this was my first experience with the canvas material. Overall, much more comfortable (lightweight and softer feel) right away, but this was probably helped by the unseasonably mild temperatures weve been experiencing. The fit and finish was up to Carhart standards.

These are super comfy, although they are made from thinner material than what I've come to expect from Carhartt. I would like the pockets to be a little deeper like my other Carhartt pants have. These should be great in the summer when I'm working on projects where I'm not kneeling on rough surfaces. Another reviewer said that these are for hipsters who want to look like they're wearing work clothes. Kinda true.

Overall I'm very satisfied - the overalls fit well, are tough, have the pockets I want, etc. I have only one significant complaint, and that is that the color on them is fading quickly. I purchased the overalls in August 2020 and by October, they have lost a significant amount of color

I own a pair. They are sturdy and fit well. My only negative feedback is the design of the fastening system for the straps. If you have a long beard, they will snag it easily. The fix for me is to braid my beard while wearing them.

Fantastic product...its a little baggier than described in other reviews and the product description so I was surprised when I put it on. However, the roomy legs and mid-body of the overalls make for restriction-free work and plenty of airspace to reduce sweating. Duarble material; no doubt they will last.

Great fit & feel. However, Carhartt should make two versions: 1) for city slickers; 2) for anyone living on a farm. I am the latter. First thing I did was remove the Carhartt logo from the front. Second, I washed them to try and get some of the sheen out of the material. I would have preferred a pair that looks like I actually work hard for a living. Maybe pre-wash them a couple of dozen times would be a good selling point. One other thing: the clasps that keep the suspenders over your shoulders are not exactly easy to hook and unhook. A bit more thought into this would be great. Also, there is a strap that is designed to hold tools, for example a hammer. It is exactly where Carhartt would normally put a pocket to hold your phone. As you could guess, I forgot a few times and my phone slid through the strap onto the ground. But, like I said, they feel great and fit me well.

Absolutely the best fitting overalls I own. Durability doesn't seem quite as tough as duck, as after a year of wearing them weekly, the seat is beginning to wear down. I'm here today searching for a pair in grey/charcol. Honestly, I wish these were available in black and cream/canvas/painters white. It's a shame the women's options have more variety. I would own one in each color.

These are one of the few pairs of bibs I have ever worn that were so comfortable, it almost felt as if I was wearing nothing yet protecting me from he harsh environment of my job and the outdoor climate. With denim bibs, at times, they feel as if they are chafing on the skin whereas these never felt that way once. Further, they never felt like they wanted to catch on any of the heavy equipment I am around all the time. Many great pocket choices on the front to keep phone, paper, and pen handy. They also do a great job of helping body to retain heat and and not allow wind to blow thru yet do a good job of breathing keeping the body from feeling clammy or cold in the winter.

The rugged flex canvas bibs are just what I have beenwaiting for from Carhartt . Comfortable and tough, I just hope they don't decide to discontinue them like many other well liked Carhartt items.

Great funciton, fit, etc. I have 2 beefs with these overalls. 1 is that they shrink in the wash. The fabric is already a softer material and it wouldn't be a bad thing if Carhartt did a pre-wash/pre-shrink job on them before they put them for sale. My 2nd beef is the size of the knee pad pockets. I have 3 pairs of Carhartt pants and 2 pairs of Carhartt overalls and they all have their own dedicated Carhartt knee pad inserts which I leave in full time (they're washable). The bottom of the pocket sits too high on the leg so when I hit my knees to do something, the bottom of the pads just cover my kneecap while 95% of the rest of the pad covers my upper leg. I then have to pull the pant leg down in order to get the pad to cover my knee. The material shrinking along with the large pocket north of the actual knee both contribute to the problem. And because the pocket is so large, when I do wash these, the pads then move around, flip around, even roll up into a ball, and I have to spend time adjusting. I have this problem on BOTH pairs of coveralls, I don't find either of these issues on any of the 3 pairs of pants I use these pads with. The cell phone pocket on the right leg could be a tad deeper and wider too. Like an other 1" would be perfect.

They fit just right and will get the job done.

These overalls are very comfortable.

Perfect fit, I got my exact pant size and L (I'm 6 foot 7) and they are long enough and fit so well. Only problem is the color on the website is super inaccurate. "dark khaki" is actually like totally light regular khaki. would buy another pair if they came in like a faded green.

They are great, but please make them in other colors. White, black, khaki, brown

Works well. Pockets are smart. Fit is true for smallish person. Stretch is forgiving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Carhartt has done it again! A more modern cut for today’s work folk. I love these bibs. I hesitated for years on buying any brand’s bib because they were always way too wide in the legs. Making me look even bigger than I am. But when these rolled out and was finally able to try some on, I knew these were it. Pros: stretch fabric, modern cut, cell phone pocket, zippered pocket on the chest, angles seam pockets seem to work very well with my pocket knife Cons if you can call them that: they do seem to fit right at the waist I did have to size up quite a bit more than expected, chest pocket doesn’t seem to be as big as my carhartt lined winter bibs so I can’t fit as many things in there as I’d like, I’d love to have a spot to clip my wallet chain to, PLEASE MAKE THESE IN BLACK! Make everything in black!

Love these overalls. The fit is great. The fact that they don't need to be broken in is very nice and the stretch makes them comfortable for all types of tasks. The overalls did arrive damaged with the strap separated from the buckle. Was able to piece it back together because our only option was to ship them back and wait for a refund which would have taken another week.

Bought these to use while working on my truck. They are very comfortable and flexible, even when wearing jeans and a hoodie underneath. The pockets are great for holding various items, like keys, my phone, pens, etc. I've actually bought these in the size I usually wear for my jeans, and they've fit true to size, even when layering. They are not bulky or baggy.

Very comfortable. Use them for doing work outside or hunting. No cold air getting into the small of my back when I'm moving around or sitting in a tree blind is nice. The big pocket in the front is perfect size for my phone too. Really enjoy them and recommend to anybody.
