      Just recently went to Cedar Point for Halloweekends. Unfortunately, it started pouring. But thanks to the Rain Defender Paxton Hooded Heavyweight Sweatshirt, we stayed dry! So comfy and true to it's name.

      You can’t go wrong with this hoodie. I’m 5’6 150lbs and I order a small. Most hoodie my hoodies are medium, because smalls usually fits kind of snug, which makes moving around constantly uncomfortable. The small fit perfect and gives me a lot of room, so if I decided to layer underneath this hoodie it won’t be tight in me. I work in a freezer all day and get pretty cold. With those hoodie and heavy coat I’m Good all day. I can’t wait until fall, so I can order a black one for everyday use.

      This hoodie is on point! Comfortable and soft yet heavy duty with Rain Defender. I am 6'3 athletic build and the L Tall fit just right. So far I mainly wear it when riding.

      I live in northern new england and the winters can be pretty brutal. This hoodie does a great job in the fall and spring as a solo layer while also being a good layer under a jacket in the winter months. I find Carhartt struggles with sizing overall and this hoodie is no different. I wear XL and sometimes L in almost every brand and yet Carhartt I'm jumping between M and XL depending on the style. I ended up with a Large Tall and it's just a bit too large. A Medium Tall would be awesome if they made it but as it stands the Medium and Large are just a bit too short in the arms. Rain defender works well enough for a sprinkle or snow but no real rain or wet snow, which is fine for me. I enjoy the little "dip pocket" in the front pouch but I wish the placement was slightly modified as my hand always starts to go into it when I put my hands in the front pouch.

      This is a perfect gift for My son in law. He will love it. He works outside year round, and is an avid fisherman, so I love how thick the material is.

      So far this hoodie is durable and water resistant as advertised. It’s plenty heavy for days between 0-20 in conjunction with appropriate base layers.

      Carhartt quality you'd expect. I'm 6'5, and 250, and the LT size fits me great. sleeves and torso are correct length for me. Good heavy material. Probably warm enough to the 40 deg F range (i'm wearing at as a liner for my winter clothes) the hidden pocket in the pouch could be a hair deeper to better fit cell phone...but I think that's nitpicking.

      My hoodie is amazing it's nice and heavy I'm 330 pounds and my height is 5'9 and regular 3x fits perfect definitely getting another one

      Love this sweatshirt! It is a nice heavy weight and perfect for the Pacific Northwest rainy season. It washes and wears well. I haven't had any problems with pilling or shrinkage.

      My husband typically get XL Tall. So I ordered an XL Tall and wish I would have sized down. His complaint was that the bottom elastic is soooo wide that it looks like it's sagging/baggy instead of being a nice fit sweater. XL Tall doesn't/shouldn't mean plus size.

      This is the best sweatshirt I have ever owned. It is a heavy weight material that stands up to rigerous work in muddy ditches and climbing in and out of trench boxes most days. I’ve burned up a lot of sweat shirts in no time on the grade but these sweatshirts take a beating and come back for more.

      I like the weight of the hoodie. Soft on the inside and able to repel water. Front pocket is large and I like the small inner pocket. My only complaints are the fabric color faded too quickly , and the ends of the arm hole frayed quickly.

      These are terrific rain resistant hoodies and I own several and also a bunch of their original hoodies. So when I say the fit is slightly different, I know of which I speak. The head hole is smaller and has zero give while pulling on. I'm female (5'4'', 150)but prefer the fit of men's small hoodies to women's because women's sleeves are too short and too tight, so not only do I struggle getting this on over my small woman-sized head, usually yanking my neck back, but it will also pull my pony tail completely out. I will keep buying them because once they are on, they are unbeatable, but danged Carhartt, you're killing my neck!
