Loose fit is big! Consider sizing down and those with long arms, long torsos or "dad bellies" need not order the "tall" size. Otherwise seems very rugged and cool enough for summer months.

I am a pretty muscular built guy, the Relax Fit shirts are extremely tight... making it seem as though I'm trying too hard LOL. But the Orginal Fit shirts fit perfectly! They fit well around my broad shoulders and chest. The sleeves are fairly loose around my bicepts and the middrift of the shirt is loose enough to allow a breeze through it but still not "too baggy". Plus they are extremely comfortable fabric, and after a couple washes they are soft but still feel thick enough to withstand many years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super durable workshirt to say the least. I typically wear a medium, sometimes large. The medium i ordered fit like an extra large. Have to pay to return it, wait for a refund, then reorder, which is an inconvenience then just an exchange. Wouldn't recommend if you're doing work in the heat and do not necessarily need a tough t shirt as it'll be extremely hot due to the thickness.

Got a couple pocket tees for Christmas.. very comfortable shirt.... Sadly has a company patch sewn to the pocket... Very annoying... I really don't so much mind the name on there.. but needs to be printed and go with the flow of the shirt...It is the total reason I will not be buying anymore myself. Twice have been told I had something stuck to my shirt... But if it doesn't bother you the shirts are comfortable... To early for me to give you a durability... I think it is a great shirt without that patch.. I will like cover it...with something that doesn't look like you have a price tag stuck to the pocket.. Thanks Carl J.

I think I ordered too large of a size. Solely my fault. Definitely a looser fit compared to other tshirt brands in this size. For once, I am hoping this will shrink when washed and dryed. Very good quality and I love the chest pocket.

I’ve worn these t-shirts daily for years and get several years of wear from them. Their quality made and durable. They wash and dry real well and from the dryer to the hanger with few to no wrinkles. I’ve tried other brands and they just don’t have the comfort and fit. They are very true to size.

Of all the shirts That I have bought from sheplers sizing has never been a problem but with these shirts in size large of this brand they are more like extra large, the quality is very good but due to the sizing I had to give them to a larger relative, so I recommend that you order one size down.

Not as comfortable as past t-shirt purchases. Incredibly long. Past 3XLong were just right in length. Rather than return these three shirts, as that can be a hassle, I donated them. The texture and feel and sizing was definitely off. Probably a cheaper material was used than in past purchases.

Best T-shirt I’ve been able to find on the market for 5 years. I like the weight and durability of the shirts even in 95+ degree weather. The cotton blend is just enough wick away sweat and hold its shape after multiple wash/dry cycles. Like these Tees enough to purchase 9 more.

I'm 5'8" 150lb and the medium is just too tight for me, so I got the large. It's still worth it to get these, they're great, but if you're of athletic build just know that the medium may be a little too tight and you might have to trim the large.

These are generously-sized, well-made T-shirts that looks and feels good. Although I haven’t washed them yet but given their heavy weght, I expect them to hold up well. They’re thick enough for winter wear under a fleece top, and that’s how I’m wearing them.

Usually we love these tshirts...my husband has the long sleeved and short sleeved ones. The last one we got has seams on the side that didn't get caught in the stitching so they look like holes...but there is not extra material to hand stitch them closed without making the seam look jagged. If i were a professional seamstress maybe I could figure out a way. Anyway, if this problem showed up more often we would just quit buying because i can't fix it. We ordered on line so I can't return it either. Normally a great t-shirt!

Shirts run large. Every shirt I own is XL and fits me perfectly. Bought 4 XL and they fit almost like 3XL. Also once you hit place order there's no going back. Wanted to change sizes 10 hours after placing the order and was told they couldn't. Still took 2 weeks. Nice shirts but not a fun experience overall

Every Color Except Black will Shrink

I've been wearing these in a 4x years. I have the typical overweight non-working out body that doesn't look good in snug t-shirts. The ruggedness of this material is what I need. Keeping in mind that because of my imperfections I can't wear light colored t-shirts. It's been my experience that's all the t-shirts I order, except the black color, will shrink. I finally after all these years starting ordering them in the larger size. 5X, which you can only get on the Carhartt website. DXL does not offer them in 5X. I only gave them a 4 rating because of the shrinkage but don't get me wrong I couldn't live without these t-shirts. The price is amazing for this quality of a shirt. They last forever. Maybe next time I'll try the lighter colors in the 5X to get a little color in my life. I only mentioned DXL because their return policy is much much better.

I ordered 2 of these and bought one in a store. The material is very soft but it runs very large. I usually wear a large T-Shirt. I bought this shirt in a medium and it's still very big.

Would not buy any other T shirt. These are my work shirts and have found nothing that holds up better. They are plenty long so they stay tucked in and generous thru the shoulders for ease of movement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cotton fabric's thickness and durability. Whether hanging around or working out in the So. Cal. heat, these are my go-to choice of shirts to wear. I prefer the heavyweight 100% cotton from Haiti. Second choice is 90% cotton / 10% Polyester from Guatemala versions as they seem to be the thickest material. Don't care for the 43% Polyester / 57% Cotton. They stretch too much and don't wick the sweat as well.

I like my old Carhartt shirt better it has lasted a really long time. This shirt seems to attract loose household dust type lint, fibrous material of cotton and dog hair. Doesn't feel like my old tee shirt there made out of a different weave of cotton. Time will tell if they last like the old one.

I love the heavyweight material and solid construction. Its hard to find a heavyweight quality tee right now, this fits the bill great. They last very long, the pocket is perfect for pens on the job and the tagless design is super comfy. Good choice of colors aswell. Really the best tee.

Quality of shirt is amazing! I am 5’7 - 5’8 and 160 lbs and I ordered a size small. It was still very big on me so I washed it in hot water and dried it at high temp and it shrunk well. Fits me much better now and still have more than enough room to move in it. Will be awesome for work this fall! Pocket is stitched well so I can hold a lot of stuff in it without it sagging down

I used to enjoy occasionally buying t-shirts for myself. It's nice to get something new. However, you've taken that joy from me. I can still buy work shirts, but they're not wearing out, so I'm just adding to my wardrobe instead of replacing it. They're durable. They're comfortable. I wear them year round, for work and for leisure. I've had some of them for years, and they're still going strong. Highly recommended.

Nice thick shirt. I have typically worn comfort colors tshirts which are much softer but this Carhartt Tshirt feels a bit scratchy, on the other side it feels 2x a durable and a bit thicker.

I love these short and long sleeve T-shirts. For now the brand runs a little bigger so I have to go down a size but that could change for Carhartt. Good quality cotton material and no weird style cut/fit, I can raise my arms and no bunching up on the shoulders and there's roominess under the arms. The only problem I have is that Carhartt needs to have these tees made in the USA! USA! USA!

I was going to return them because they run a little large. But then I read that I can’t return them at this time for some reason if it was bought on the Internet. So I’m wearing them and they’re fine I can’t find anything wrong with them. I’m glad they’re coming out with some nicer colors and I’ll them that same old Drab colors. Don’t get me wrong I have some drab colors but there’s times I want to wear something with a different color.

Carhartt used to be a name you could trust, now your company is sliding down in quality ,fabric and stitching. What a shame that you choose to so. I have 4 men in my family that once bought from you, they all complained about the difference now. poor material, made cheap.. Sorry but you just lost us as a customer after years of buying your wonderful shirts.

Great shirt, I bought these to work in and they come how stained, dirty and a mess. With 1 wash it all comes right out. Shirts do run big, I wear a large in other shirts (Nike, UA, ) and bought a large and fits like XL. I bought a medium and fits like a large.

These are good shirts, although they are heavy and you will feel hot in warm climates they are durable because of this and are very worth their price. the best part about them is that even though there are tall sizes made, you may not need tall. I'm 6.4 and they go right past my belt and land at the spot just where I want them. For regular height people you don't have to fear what other people see when you bend over. These are the best and hope they will keep on designing these just like they are. Don't change a thing. Love the colors as well!
