The warmest toughest

I purchased this about a month ago and the fit is too long in the arms, the zipper is difficult to start and it is a woman's zipper. It is not as warm as I expected it to be, (the outside air temp. was 23 deg. F.).

I bought this as a gift for my fiancé , he wasn’t to happy with how big it was . He chose it , so he was expecting it to be a little more fitted around the waist but instead it was just really big . Not made for thin body types .

Very warm durable jacket. Can be a little stiff in the beginning.

I work outside every day, my worst complaint is that sometimes it's too warm. Its water resistant not water proof. If you're in 8 hours of rain you will get soggy...but only soggy not soaked. I'm 6'2" and I wish I'd have bought a L tall but hey my fault

Had to return it I bought it way to big for me but other than that I would’ve loved it!!

This is my son's 4th Carhartt jacket. He likes it so much, he won't even try anything else.

I would absolutely recommend this, "jac" if you live in the north. I live in the Twin Cities and I work outside and this thing keeps me warm! I also really appreciate the hood design and the two internal pockets-lifesavers!

This jacket is keeping me warm this winter. I’m happy with this purchase.

This coat has a very awkward fit to it...large and wide in the shoulders and very short, almost looks completely different in fit compared to the pics. Doesnt seem like it would be so short. Seems like it would hold up to the arctic weather but because of the fit my son cant use it.

A little stiff, but other than that I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

This jacket will definitely keep you warm, almost to the point you need to take it off to cool off and its 15 degrees right now. I love this thing through and through

The jacket fits well and feels lighter than a regular Carhartt jacket but is great at keeping you warm. I’ll be buy the extreme version from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered a medium as I have the Sierra jacket in medium and fits perfectly. This was huge on me. I’m pretty slim so I just get lost in it. Felt warm though.

I have always been a carhartt loyal client. I got this jacket delivered to London UK from the US and it looks and feels beautiful. The problem is that the rib-knit cuffs are so soft that are already falling apart after the first month of use. The contact with my watch, backpack etc is literally tearing them apart. The rest of the jacket will last forever but the cuffs are rubbish and won't last long. Very poorly thought out guys I'm truly disappointed with the brand.

I love this jacket. Very warm. Keeps out the Michigan, USA breeze off the water which drops to below 0°F in the winter. Breeze can enter through the zipper at times but if that’s the only complaint I’m satisfied.

My husband loves his jacket! Wears all the time! Just wish I bought it sooner!

material on outer to stiff even after washed in vineager. size ran larger than what was ordered.

Hood is a little stiff but should lay down as it gets broken in. Spent a day ice fishing in 40 mph winds ice,rain ,snow. Kept me dry and warm.

The jacket was as described. No insulation any kind in pockets. Fit is good. Definately designed for layering. Not good as a stand alone keep warm jacket, light sweatshirt makes do underneath. Leaves a lot exposed at neck when zipped. Good jacket overall. Just know what you're getting.

Great when skateboarding too, not only for working. Very warm, and good quality!

Great jacket to bring out on the job. Where I work it can get pretty cold.
