    Finally! Wow - These are awesome!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried many boots and these seem to be the right fit for me. The fit is great and did take a week to break in. I work in a cabinet shop with concrete floors and the anti-fatigue comfort cushion is definitely noticeable as well as the traction you get. I would recommend these and may even get another pair to put in the truck.

    Write your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Overall, Great boot, very comfortable and light weight. My third pair. They lasted each approximately 18 months. The stitches on the right boot come apart, and a hole appears on the flex leather, in same spot on both boots. I work in HVAC cellar boiler rooms. I wish they were more resistant to water. Maybe I need to look into boot warmers, to help keep the boot fabric and stitches from breaking down., because they will absorb water like a sponge and negate the electrical protection. whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

    i wear this boots any time to go Home Depot or Lowe’s they willing to help me with everything, but with sneakers they don’t ! comfortable boots the only bad thing is the composite toe gets could in could weather but not too could like steel toe , am in NY other than that everything is well .

    So far - I like them . Much lighter than my Redwings. We'll see how they hold up but they're comfortable and breaking in nice. I'm on my feet, working outside all day and would recommend them

    Probably the best fitting boots I've ever had. However, durability is an issue as is an obnoxious squeak from both boots. First pair fell apart in a month and squeaked loudly. They were covered under warranty but the new ones started falling apart immediately (and squeak even louder than the last pair). A vast majority of my clothing and outerwear are Carhartt. Been loyal to them for over 20 years. Never ever buying their boots ever again though

    This is my 4th pair of these. I wear them for work as a delivery driver in the oilfield. My last pair lasted over 2 years before the sole fell off. I like the composite over the steel for the cold Northern winters. I will keep buying them for the comfort and durability.

    Comfortable right out of the box, toe shape is a bit too round for my taste but overall a very good boot.

    I've had these boots for nearly two years as work boots and winter/rain boots. These boots are good overall, but the rubber material on the heel of the sole on both boots has come off, I fixed one with some crazy glue but the damage is still done. Additionally the heels both have developed holes. The comfort is pretty good but after a while, the insole wears thin. These boots are definitely an upgrade from the Timberland's I had before.

    Fits very well to your feet and sturdy. Stand up to digging in Jersey shake and concrete all day. I do alot of walking for my job and my feel quicker in these than my sneakers

    Good fit and quality as you'd expect from Carhartt. Keeps you warm and dry in cold/wet conditions. They're even comfortable to walk around in all day as I did while in Gatlinburg, TN .

    Love these boots!!! The quality of construction is evident inside and out. I got the ceramic toe and the weight isn’t bad. They are very stable and protect against foot roll on uneven terrain. All day comfort!!

    Great boot. It would be even better if they made it with insulation as I prefer a 6” high rather than 8”. You can get the same boot with insulation in an 8”..

    Has become my favorite work boot, very comfortable to wear 16 hours a day if required. Composite toes are great when passing through metal detector security gates.

    This came apart where the sole attaches to the heel area.

    Decent at first, not worn out in the mud. Crane operator , so mostly in the cab. Four months of wear, and they are coming apart where the sole is glued to the upper near the heel cup. Pretty disappointing for the money.

    I messed around with other boots before but this was by far the best boot I've had and the composite toe has all the strength you need with so much less weight, you forget it's there until you kick something

    Don't let the 4 star rating on comfort discourage you. Actually I wear orthotics so to find a boot or shoe that totally fits comfortable is few and far between. But, the ruggedness and waterproofness holds true and gives great support to the ankle. I would definitely buy this boot again!

    Worn these 40-60 hours/week for over 3 years now in all weather conditions. Somehow the soles are still intact, they’re still waterproof, and they even have a little traction left on them. Best boots I’ve ever owned and it’s not even close.

    I need a good work boot to use all day. After using them for a few months I've noticed rash appearing on my feet. I took of the boots after a week and a half just until the rash was just about healed all that was left was my dried up skin. Anyway I put them on again just for the rash to reappear and my skin to start pealing itself again. Either there's something in my shoe or these are bad quality boots. They are roughly 2lbs each so they do feel heavy and will tire you out more. I recommend caterpillar boots from here on out.

    Cathartt boots work great for me. I had been going through 3 pairs of Timberlands a year. The last pair of Carhartts lasted a year and a half and they still weren’t completely worn out so I donated them to a friend for one of his workers.

    I wore this boot for a couple of days in the house to try to break them in. I ended up getting a huge blister on the back of my heel. The boots do not slip and fit good, but rub on the seem where the heel rests.

    I have been wearing timberland pro-series for 15 years working for a N.Y. utility company(Con Edison). The pro series where so heavy and stiff and the steel toe would rub against my toe even in the wider size. I just brought these Carhartt Rugged Flex Composite toe work boots and they are amazing. Light weight, rugged ,wide and the most comfortable boot I have ever owned! No more dragging my feet or calluses on my toe. I have happy feet and more spring in my step because of these boots!Well worth the money! There are two things in your life you shouldn't go cheap on, one is shoes and other is a good bed.

    Very disappointed in this purchase. I haven't even had these boots for 4 months and they are having problems. Both toes have already scuffed down to the composite toe. I had the Ground Force composite toe for 2 years. The only reason I changed is that the Ground Force has terrible traction on ice and snow and I was hoping the Rugged Flex would have better traction. These boots a junk. The toes are already scuffed and now aren't even waterproof for the winter. And the winter traction is terrible as well. If you need a good boot, go with the Force Flex, not these

    I have bought 2 pairs of these and they have been excellent for what they cost. Size is right on with what I normally wear. They wear extremely well. My first pair is 3 years old now and I still wear them for home use. Only issue I had was my first pair started to leak water but my second pair has been fine so far.

    Good work boot. I use it everyday as an elevator mechanic. Good non-slip, even in hydraulic oil. Flexible when taking a knee. I have the wide width version which gives plenty toe room. I did change sole inserts to fit my personal preference. I will purchase again.

    Easy to form on my feet, you gotta know exactly what shoe size are you, I'm 11M they fit perfectly on me.the black color is the best low profile looking for my outdoor proyects. they are comfortable and not heavy although they are composite toe.. Good quality and thick leather. I'm 100% satisfied for this carhartt work boots.

    Bought these boots as they felt great in the store. After 4 months, my feet and knees were back to could hardly walk. I purchased a pair of Keen's 8 weeks ago, same thing. Don't waste your money on either brand. I previously wore either Red Wings or Herman Survivors until they went to China. Quality and comfort is gone now. I'm on my feet all day in the shop, I need comfort for the same amount of time.

    This boot is not worth the money. Any stress put on it while digging it comes apart. It appears to be glued and not sewn.

    I shopped all over the place to get what I felt was a comfortable, and durable boot. I bought the Carhartt Rugged Flex composite toe. They didn’t take long to break in, they also didn’t take long to start leaking and the protective material on the toes to come apart. I get a yearly allowance for boots from my employer, so I hoped I could get through a year with them, but that won’t happen. I’ll look past Carhartt footwear for me in the future.

Anything from digging to roofing to framing, these boots have held up extremely well. I've gotten a fair number of 1.25" roofing nails in the treads and STILL watertight in the sole. Very impressed. Very comfortable too! The only slight hiccup I have RARELY is that sometimes the lace will slip off of the upper lace hook. Not a dealbreaker for me by any means.

    Not good in wet conditions. Extremely upset. I work on an outdoor dock. Both wet and dry conditions. Walked about 25 feet through snow and my feet were wet and cold. Other than that. Nice boot. And comfortable.

    While I've NEVER had any issues with previous purchases, the sole separated from the shoe on the 4th day my son wore these boots. Maybe a one off situation, but still disappointed. Hopefully my next purchase will hold up much better.

    I use Obenhaufs Heavy Duty LP for these, it seems to be the magic sauce that keeps them at tip top shape. Paired with the LP they resist all kinds of abuse from water to constant abrasion with minimal signs of wear. My feet don’t get tired in these boots, most notably my entire leg bone structure is stress free at the end of the day beyond the muscle it takes to move these things around for long shifts. I also appreciate that they aren’t a carhartt billboard on your feet. I recommend them to my coworkers all the time just for lack of blatant advertising. True sleeper boot.

    I like the boots and they seem to be well constructed, but I simply have to wait before wearing them again. I don't know if I have a size larger then necessary, but have blisters on both feet. Sad, as when I did wear them they seemed more then adequate for the job. Perhaps someone can let me know if I have any options... I'd hate for them to sit in the closet and buy a different pair...

    Got my first pair last year from the carhartt store, I’m actually very VERY pleased with them even for what I paid (a bit more than I wanted before I knew they even have a military discount too!) Very comfortable and supportive and it was amazing that I could stand in almost 4 inches of water and still have warm dry feet. Unfortunately I had to work harder after the boss saw that but still great boots! It took over a year of serious wear till they weren’t water proof anymore. VERY impressed. I have a new pair in my trunk for when my current ones get dunked next. Highly recommended

    The fit was amazing from the start and super comfortable. If they only lasted , thay stoped being water proof after 4 months and now at 8 months the rubber on the toe is split

    I have been in need of a good quality boot at a reasonable price. These are it. Good waterproofing and comfortable soles. I work at less schwab tire centers and I'm running and on my feet all day and at the end of the day my feet are not as sore as they usually get thanks carharrt will for sure buy another pair when these wear out.
