This coat is made of quality material and has a fantastic design. It just runs big - really big. We are going to reorder the next size down. Just hope it's not too small in the shoulders and (still) too big in the belly.

I often spend long hours outside for work in pretty harsh conditions and I don't feel much of the cold at all. Working on year three with this coat and it looks like there is no end in sight. Worth the buy!

Size runs very wide for a large. Way too big. Length is perfect. Just very wide, and you don’t offer a Tall Medium. Disappointing.

We've been in and out of single digit daytime high temps for a couple of weeks. I spend a bit of time outdoors taking care of the homestead. The jacket is very comfortable, I wear it and a base layer and it keeps me nice and toasty. Real happy with the purchase. What more can you say it's Carhartt. Mate the jacket with fleece lined Carhartt Jeans and some Carhartt gloves and your all set.

Great Coat, Warm

I took this to the Tanana River in Alaska during a snow machine trek looking for a lake. Temps got down to -22 during the day, this coat with 3 base layers, kept me very warm to work. The hood is a little stiff and prevents you from looking back while on the snow machine, and the zipper is pretty tough to pull up, but that's all because the coat is so darn tough that it takes some manning to get it to move for you. Comfortable and awesome.

I have had the jacket for a year now. The medium size fits in all ways, except the sleves should be longer. My wrists get cold, as the sleeves do not come down far enough to my gloves. Guess I should have ordered a large or a large tall, but thought either might just bo too big...... I think if you had offered a medium-tall, it would have fit perfectly.

We actually returned the men’s XL tall for a L tall. Either one fit properly, so we returned both in the end. Now looking for a coat that is a better fit. Too bad because it was extremely warm.

He loved it. He is usually an XL and he is tall but some of the reviews said the jacket ran big and I am so glad I got the tall large. Fit him perfect! It is stiff but after a few wears I am sure it will loosen up.
