      Love These Boots!!!

      I originally was looking at the Heritage III Lace Boot and just couldn't get past the funky feeling tongue, it felt like soft rubber and the whole stiffness of the boot just didn't fly with my bunion-riddled feet. So, I tested these babies (Heritage II Lacer in Distressed Brown) in Wide and I'm so incredibly happy with them! I'm very picky about foot comfort because the wrong shoe or boot could have me in foot pain for days. But I have not Once experienced any pain with the Heritage II Lacers. They are Extremely comfortable, the width is Perfect, I can walk in them all day and they are super snazzy lookin! Additionally, the tread on the bottoms feels great! When I stick my foot in the stirrup, I know I'm not going to get a whole lot of moving around that can sometimes happen, they stay right where I put them and that gives me a lot of peace of mind. I could Sleep in these boots, they are that comfortable! And because I love them so much, I'm delegating them to Riding, going to the Office, going to School, and Going Out. No stall mucking for these babies!!!! They are too good that that :D As for Cons, I can't find a single one with these boots, it's too hard.

      I have been using these boots for several years. The quality of the boots is excellent and durable. I have tried other brands and although they are genuine leather, they are uncomfortable and heavy.

      I’ve had my pair for years, they are comfortable enough to wear all day and work in and hold up extremely well. Little maintenance is needed, save for caring and conditioning the leather. So far the laces are in the worst shape, but that’s to be expected. If you don’t like pull on boots, or want a boot you can lace to your foot but still have a “wetsern” feel these work great. As with any boot, try it on in person and be mindful of how comfortable it is on you, especially if you’re wearing them for long periods of time.

      Unlike my first pair of these which I bought many, many years ago, these are a lot more stiff and require breaking in. But so far they seem to be of the same quality and if so, will last a long time even with daily wear. The price is definitely fair and the size is true to fit.

      I really like them. I bought a nine so they are plenty big, but I will just say that the stiffness of the boot means that I am going to have to wear them awhile before they get really comfortable. I do love them and hope to use them for riding, as I didn't have any boots for that. I am a beginner and don't need anything special. They look nice and i did wear them through a couple of airports last week, and they were fine, although like i said, a little stiff.

      I’ve gotten 4-ish years of hard use out of these boots. I’m in the industry so that means on my feet doing chores, taking care of horses, or riding for 10-12 hrs a day in all weather. They’ve been my “all day, everyday” boot for the past couple years & it’s sad that they’re finally dying. Cracking leather & stitching coming apart. I think I could’ve gotten another year or two out of them, but I tried a new boot cleaner (that chemically burned a hole in the rag I was using) and I think it made the boots age faster. I’ve done western, jumping, dressage, natural horsemanship, & even my first 100m endurance race in these boots. They’re been good to me & no complaints other than wanting to have them longer. Used to get comments on how handsome the boots were when I first got them too!

      These boots are comfortable and fit right. The price was reasonable. The service and delivery was fast and I will buy again in the future. I recommend buying from Sheplers, I rate the over all service 4.5 stars out of 5.

      The boots are great. Just a bit tight across the top just above the toe area… and they don’t come in a wide but the cushion in the shoe is very comfortable really love the boots

      I bought my first pair of these used at a tack shop. 1) most comfortable paddock boots I have every worn. 2) love LOVE LOVE the Kiltie. 3) incredibly durable. I bought mine very used and I wore them pretty much daily for two years. I kept them out of the mud but other than that I wore them to muck, wash the horse, walk, everything. I wear them 4-7 hours per day, 5-7 days per week. The leather is still in decent shape...I'm only getting a new pair because the sole is giving out a TINY bit and I haven't taken care of the soles very well. Actually, I haven't taken care of the entire boot other than keeping them out of the mud. Remember, I bought them used, wore them HARD for two years and they're STILL kicking. But I am buying a new pair anyway. Because I deserve it.

      Attractive boot...unfortunately they run very big. Plus they are so stiff it makes them too uncomfortable to even walk across a room. So u am returning g them for a full refund. Great company however- Very efficient and they were mailed to me quickly.

      I was so excited to find brown boots in a wide. Very disappointed as the wide was very narrow. I really wish then they would make the round toe in brown as those fit like a wide and they are not.

      Love these boots. I have had a few pairs of these and the brown are my favorite! They are rugged but they are comfortable. Look cute with jeans and a cute sweater or jacket. I like that they can muti task for work or play!

      I've had these boots for at least three years now, and they've shown no sign of wearing out yet! The double kilties and the antique engraved hardware are nice details. I especially love the distressed leather on these boots. The full-grain leather molds to your foot, and takes scratches and scuffs well. You can rub out the marks with a little lotion, though in my opinion the scuffs lend a nice bit of character. Now for a few cons...I have found the cushioning on these boots are not all that soft, so I often wear thicker socks for their extra cushion. Traction (especially on the heel) is not all that good on some slippery or slick surfaces. The sole is obviously designed with equestrians and muck shedding in mind, not ground grip or slip-resistance. These boots are also slightly on the heavier side, which I've found to be perfectly fine. Everything considered, these are boots with excellent quality and durability. I'd definitely recommend them. These are boots that are worth their price and that will last long while!

      I've been wearing Ariat boots for over 13 years. I broke a bone in my foot a very long time ago and my left foot is wider than my right foot. So, pulling off the left boot was impossible with slip-on boots. The lace-up is best for me. And now, I have a Boot Barn just a short drive away!
