I have a wide foot and am in boots all day long so looking for fit and comfort. These boots fit but are not as comfortable as I had hoped. There is no padding in the ankle area and I wish the sole had more traction.

I got these boots a month ago and have put a lot of miles on them on the ground and in the saddle. They are super comfortable and felt broken in from the first wear, are sturdy and look great with bootcut jeans as well as with breeches. Have gotten a lot of compliments and would love it if they came in more colors, especially black.

I’ve worn this boot since Dec 25 and am very impressed with its good looks, comfort, and sturdiness. I wear them almost everyday, all day because they carry me from indoor work to outdoor work on 2.5 Ohio country acres. At a size 7, these boots accommodate my socks without pinching with ample room in the toebox. I highly recommend these boots even for casual wear.

I live in these at the range and I can ride in them. I wish they came in more colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were exactly what I was looking for. Slightly wider than I expected but I do have very narrow feet. I used to wear the Heritage Zip Up paddock boots in a 9. Tried those on and they were a little loose. So I went with an 8.5 in these and they're perfect. They're darker and not as distressed looking as in the photo. I did also print out and use the size chart. I was a smidge over the 8.5, but I'm glad I still went with that size.

I was hoping for more support and structure w these boots. They are lightweight and are good in muddy conditions but just dont give me the support i require.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Anthem Round Toe Lacer is a great barn boot. It has great foot support, is waterproof, and the right height to avoid prickly things like sandspurs while walking xc courses. I had hoped to ride in these boots, but my half chaps will not close around the padded top. I still need Ariat to start making the Heritage Round Toe Laced Paddock boot again.

Feels well-made like they will last. Ariat id a brand I trust. I had a pair of Ariat boots that I wore for years. Beautiful color and design. Comfortable roomy foot-bed for wide feet. HOWEVER the high-rise ankle is a bit uncomfortable. The hard leather where the tongue of the shoe meets the lacing jabs into my ankle bones as I walk. I had to buy gel ankle protectors that ice skaters use. Also it came with short laces and left the ankle to gap at the top, and I didn't feel securely tied into the shoe. I traded out these laces for longer laces that I could wrap at the top around the high-rise ankle. Both of these fixes that I had to come up with (fingers crossed) seem to be helping (as I walk around my house). I HOPE THEY"LL BECOME MY GO-TO SHOES!!! Cuz I truly love the style. Unfortunate that I have to doctor them up to make them wearable. But IF my fixes work in the long run then they'll be great!

Love this boot! Very well made and super comfortable. I am size 6-1/2 wide with a high instep and often have trouble finding shoes/boots that fit. These were true to size and broke in very easy. Not too heavy with good support. Well done:)

I’ve had these about 6 weeks. I didn’t want to write a review until I had really tested them out. I was hesitant to buy the boots because of a few of the other reviews but these are AWESOME. They took a little while to break in, and I was worried that I should’ve gone with the wide, but now they’re so comfortable, my feet aren’t killing me at the end of the day. We recently had a ton of rain and I was in a flooded hog pen up to my ankles in mud trying to move water out. My feet stayed dry. I had to go in there four different times and every time my feet stayed dry. These boots are awesome, I highly recommend them. And if you want them to last, TAKE CARE OF THEM!! Take care of the leather and take care of the stitching. These materials need maintenance. I always chose Ariat when I rode horses for 15+ years, now I’m choosing them again and will continue to choose them. I love these boots.

These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I have some issues with a bone on top of my left foot that prevents me from pulling on my other boots. With the lace-ups that problem no longer exists. Feet stay warm in the barn too.

Love the Anthem soles! I'm a 50 year old vet tech on my feet at work 10 hrs a day & then 2 hrs of chores begin at home. Have to wear a wide in other shoes, but the Ariat boots (11 now, 3 of which are Anthem)always break in just right. I wear compression socks which are thin & I do wear arch support insoles. Since wearing Ariat boots my ankles aren't hurting at the end of the day. The height of the boot was higher than other hikers & my ankles were sore the first few times a wore them, but used to it now.

the toe box needs to be roomier. I ordered a wide since this was one of the few boots offered in a wide but the ankle is really loose and the toe box could still be a bit roomier. I will be returning. its a great boot just not comfortable for me.

I received these boots as a gift little under a year ago for work. I do new home construction HVAC in all types of weather and conditions. These are NOT good for cold weather climates. Very thin with no warmth. They are waterproof though. However, they are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and do great in the summer. Although they are very comfortable, the toes have worn almost completely through from daily use in under a year. Definitely pros and cons to these boots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love arias but these boots are not for me. I bought the waterproof version and my feet SWEAT its awful. Not sure if that's just a downside to the waterproofing feature. The wide is not actually wide, just gives more room in the ankle instead of the foot, so maybe should have sized up. They are really difficult to break in and bruised my feet a lot but that was probably my own fault. The toes are pretty hard for not being composite which is kind of nice. Overall, I'm mainly leaving a review to try to win money to buy a different pair of arias, because I don't know how long my feet can hold up working in these.

Love these boots. Comfortable. I love distressed leather and these are perfect. I ordered my usual size 6 and it fits perfect. Didn’t require much “break in” time either. I wear them a lot!!!!

Incredible work boot. Did not require a break in period, comfortable from the first wear. Definitely water proof, and work proof! They also look very nice with jeans, once they are cleaned up a bit
