    Okay boot, but there are some quality concerns

    This was my first pair of Ariat work boots. I've had several pairs of Ariat Ramblers and love them, so I thought I'd give the WorkHogs a shot. They were very hard to get on/off until they were broken in, now they're on/off with ease. The U-Turn entry does help, but it was a struggle at first. After about three months, the left heal began to make a clicking noise when I walk, and it almost feels like my left heel bottoms out. The other concern is with the insoles, which are coming apart in both boots. My job is primarily at a desk, but I'm required to wear protective toes when walking around the facility. I wouldn't have expected these issues with the relative light use I put them through. The exterior of the boots seem to be holding up very well, and they've kept my feet dry in wet conditions. Aside from the internal issues, they are comfortable boots. I originally liked them so much I immediately bought a pair of 10036002, so I'm hoping the issues with my original WorkHogs is not an ongoing concern with the Ariat brand of work boots.

    Had to return for a half size smaller because the heel lift was too much. Comfortable boots cant speak on durability yet. Only gripe is that the top of the boots rub on my calf if i dont have my socks run up that far. Also the boots do look sick

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started wearing Ariat work boots they're about the only boots I wear anymore. But the last couple pair of boots I've bought have left something to be desired. One pair the sole came completely off both boots after six months use. The recent pair I just bought less than a month ago don't fit the same. The left boot is great no complaints, but the right boot is loose almost feels like it's a bigger size, my foot slides around while I'm walking, and after a few hours of wear it starts to hurt the ball of my foot.

    Shouldn’t of bought these boots.

    I bought these boots two maybe three months ago and wear them 10 hours a day working on Heavy Equipment in a shop. The liner on both of these boots have already torn making it very difficult to remove the boot. The steal toe digs into my toes when I walk and cause my toes a lot of grief. I’ve had two other pairs of Ariat work hogs and loved them always preaching about them at work. But these are hands down a bad buy.

    I bought these boots yesterday and my only complaint is that the left boot keeps popping. It feels like the sole is not completely together at all, trying to finish my day out and hopefully see what can do to help it.

    This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Ariat boots. I wear my boots 7 days a week at least 10 hours a day and they hold up for over a year. I replace them mainly because I want them to look new again but if it really didn’t want to I could just change the insoles and keep using them for probably another half year because the tread is still good. There’s a style where the toe is reinforced with another patch of leather but I don’t like that look.

    I love ariat products. I wear them daily for work. I’m disappointed in the quality of the product due to the interior fabric of the boot being loose, right where my toes are.. it’s annoying and uncomfortable when I wear them.. and worst part is that this is my second pair I got, as replacements for my first pair because they had the same problem. It’s just not the quality I expect form ariat. I’m very disappointed

    It’s a very good work boot. I usually get plain soft toe boots, but couldn’t get one so I settled for the carbon toe. I gave it three stars because the carbon toe makes the boot stick up too high. I like a flatter more snug look and fit.

    Not what they used to be

    I’ve had 5 pairs of work hogs over the last 5 years. The last pair I got were the new work hog xt carbon toe. First 4 months they were good but now the inner liner of the heal is loose and you can’t get you’re foot out without jamming you’re hand inside the boot by you’re heal and holding the liner, no more just kick off the boots like the last 4 pair. Been dealing with this for 2 months now, going to have to get new boots and probably going to switch brands because I don’t want to deal with this again. The old ones were a lot better should have kept one of my old pair of I knew this was going to happen.

    Less than a year out from owning these boots. My feet are aching and there’s a large hole in the toe of the boot. If I step in a puddle my foot is soaked. The brand seems great but if you’re a heavy equipment field mechanic, DO NOT spend your money on Ariat. Buy Brunt for half the price.

    I bought for my first pair of work boots. They are as comfortable as my normal boot. They are light because of the carbon toe.

    I been wearing these boots for about 6 weeks. They were comfortable right out of the box. They appear to be well made. I haven’t had them I much water yet, so I’m not sure about the water resistance. Time will tell how they last.

    Boots were amazing,comfortable, and durable. I’ve had them since July of 2023 and they held up to daily use in the HVAC field and construction.but about a mouth ago the liner started to give up on me. Now every time I take off the boots the whole liner comes out with it only in the right boot. Making it very uncomfortable on my pinky toe. So I would rate this boots 5 stars for about 1.5 years

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase these boots on 10/16/2024 from a major local store, they are very comfortable and easy to pull up considering my high ins step. I wear them every two weeks for 12 hour shifts, no issues at first, but once I introduce them to light rain or small puddles of water it did not go well, the bottom of my feet began with a light moisture and progressively worsen, I can only use the boots on dry surfaces period. The socks and feet smell is very undesirable to say the least. One of the main reasons I purchased these boots was being waterproof to some degree but not at all. Contacted the vendor and was told that they could not do anything after 30 days and the boots had to be in near new condition in other for them take them back to resell them. The boots do not have any damage to them.

    Ordered 2 different pairs. 2 days of wearing both the liner in the heel would come undone. Trying to take the boot off after that happened was a act of God

    Been wearing ariats for ten plus years. These are very uncomfortable, and can’t last a full ten hours in these. Pushes against my left Achilles and now I got tendinitis there. Wouldn’t recommend!

    These boots are super comfortable but make sure you get the correct size or return them if they are even a little big. I made the mistake of keeping the boots even though the felt a little big and now I regret it.

    I've had these boots since September 2023 the break in was easy and the boots are pretty comfortable. I'm in them at least 10 hours a day in all weather conditions. My only complaints are water can get in around the seam on the left boot. I have to constantly treat and rewater proof it to keep the water out. I have also noticed the soles on the right boot seem to be flaking off. I had a 1 inch ×1 inch section completely come off. Other sections are quickly flaking off. The soles themselves seem to wear out super fast. I loves these boots but gor the price I'd expect better quality.

    The heal on the left boot is pulling up/out. Can’t slip on and off without really working foot in. These are newer boots. I’ve had this happen on another pair but that was after lots of use.

    Great quality boots but the color is misrepresented on the website. They are way darker than the pictures. I wouldn't have purchased if I had known they were this dark

Break in takes a couple of days. Durable: Rain, snow, sleet, or shine these boots will take a beating as long as you take care of them (clean and oil) You won't regret getting a pair for yourself. Comfortable: I'm on my feet from sun up to sundown and I cover a variety of terrines throughout the day.

    New pair of boots different size

    I just bought these boots size 8 not too long ago. Left boot feels half a size bigger. Right foot feels like half a size smaller in width. It was my first time buying boots. Thought I could just double sock my left foot. But then that fatigues my whole foot. My right foot feels tight in the boot. Figured it just needed to be broke in. End of the day I realized that even wearing them and trying to break them in. Right foot which is tight, just gets outrageously fatigued from how tight it is on top of the foot, and around the edges. Also I put my hands in both boots and you can immediately feel a manufacture difference. The entrance size of the boots are completely different from each other. In the left boot I can slide my hand all the way through and touch the end. The right boot is so snug and tight that my hand can’t even make it past the mid part of the shoe sliding my hand in it. Great quality but comfort isn’t there for me. Also comparing side by side. They physically look different sizes width and length. I guess I just got a bad pair who knows.

    Carbon toe Ariat Work boots, Great comfortable boot. They last about 18 months under severe 6 day week stress. Still wearing my 18 month old boots. It is only after purchasing that you can tell just how tired the sole is on the old boots. I will continue to purchase these boots. They run true to size. Plus they always look good after a quick cleaning.

    Purchased these boots about a month ago & they've been put to the test with all the wet weather we have been having. Proud to say they've stood up to their waterproof rating and been comfortable for all day wear.

I was going through other brands every 6 months to a year. Ariats last me roughly 2 years before I wear the soles out. This particular pair has been the best ones yet! Easy to slip on and SUPER COMFORTABLE! And yes they are waterproof! Took the kids the beach in January and didn’t want to take my boots off to walk in the surf with the wife. My feet never got wet, lol!
