Great comfortable fitting boot. First time ever wearing a boot and I was very impressed with the quality and durability of these boots.

As soon as I found my size in the store (C-A-L Ranch), I wore them in the store until I was ready to check out. Size 8 D-MED feels comfortable, slight toe room, and will be wearing them for about 4 days prior to seeing how they hold up for work (outside in all elements). Ankle support seems a little sketchy is the first thing I noticed. Other than that, we'll see how long they last in AZ.

As always, high quality. And specific to this pair of boots, the steel toe is done in a way that keeps the wear of the boot very comfortable.

I'm a combat veteran, and I needed steel toe boots for work. When I saw these, I bought them without being able to try them on for feel and fit. I wore steel toe boots many years ago and hated their cramped feel and the feel on the plates in them, so I bought these based on my patriotic connection to them and the hopes that maybe that feeling would make up for the pain I was about to endure. Turns out that I haven't stopped wearing these boots since I put them on. I wear them for everything; literally. I made them my own and that's how I wear them to work, to mow the property, to cut down trees, to garden, to hunt, to fish, to party, to date, to walk to the mailbox... literally for everything. I wear an 8.5M but have typically worn a 9, often a Wide, in running shoes, boots, etc to account for the usual swelling of the human feet with prolonged activity where one is on his or her feet. I purchased these in a 9D for the same reason and based on ancient history with steel toe boots. I would've been fine with an 8.5, even after hours on my feet. These don't exactly slip around, but when I'm running, there is a little movement in them, so my next pair will be an 8.5... because sometimes I have to move quickly instead of with a cowboy's ambling stride. Literally my favorite pair of boots, ever... and I own exotics, like stingray, and decades of broken-in military boots, from jump to jungle to desert... but these are my fav pair! And just the other day, they saved my feet when I opened a locker and two heavy reels of wire came tumbling off the top shelf, along with some other metal tools, from a height of about seven feet. Aside from cutting a flap of leather back on one boot, there was zero damage to the boots. True story: my first and only thought and concern was about the appearance of my boots... because I'd already stubbed my toes on and kicked enough stuff to know that my Patriots would protect my feet. That's why my boots get bling, even though they're for work in the worst conditions. Also, boots looking good no matter where you go, is a Texas thing that I brought with me to Virgina and to NASA. Not everyone believes that, but they do all admire the boots! ~Tex

Boots ran big they gave me a hard time To return and I would have had to pay all i wanted was to exchange took my money else where got them

Have to fight them to get on every morning. Once they are on they are comfortable. Just not a very good way to start your day having to use all your strength to put them on. And even got a size bigger then I normally wear

These are the best boots I've had especially for the farm and moving house trailers and driving These boots keep me comfortable and my feet dry and warm

I've owned several Ariat boots and have always been completely satisfied with comfort and durability. I bought a pair of these about 4 months ago and my feet feel like they are about to fall off. I'm getting blisters on the bottoms (of all places) of my tows, my heals hurt......this is never an issue for me. I don't understand, Ariat generally makes a pretty decent boot. Currently exploring other options.

These boys are great. They have all of the requirements for my workplace and they look good. One note about them, for mine at least, was they run about a half size big. I returned my 10s for 9.5s and all is right.

They are light, very comfortable you do have to break them at the top but otherwise they are great.

I enjoy the day to day comfort and I enjoy the safety of a steel toe and hard leather. They take a while to break in but I can see where they’ll last a long time. I have smaller leg. Top half rubs like crazy on my calf. If they didn’t put stupid loops to pull boots on probably be so much better. Does leave blister after work day. They also fit big. I wear 15 normally but 14 is my size. Maybe 13.5 if they did half sizes. Lower half is pretty comfy so far.

I ordered the Ariat work hogs in a size 10.5 D. I normally wear a size 11 D. When trying them on in the store the 10.5 felt good and sizing down a half size was what a lot of the reviews recommend. With the potential stretch I figured I would order the 10.5. However when I got the new boots shipped to the store for free pickup I could not get my foot in the boots at all. I tried again in the morning and evening and had no luck. The return process was very simple at the store. I figured the boots in store were already stretched so in this instance my normal size of 11d would have been the correct size to order. The fit and finish of the boots were very nice and the footbed was very comfortable but the I needed size 11d

Great looking boot, sizes run big though and wides are really wide. I would certainly recommend.

I bought these about a year ago for the NASA workplace. They've become my favorite boots to wear everywhere, year-round. They're super comfortable and I do everything in them, including mowing the grass, tree logging, disaster relief work, going out on the town, to business meetings, etc. They even saved my toes one day, after someone had messed with my wire locker. I opened the locked and a massive spool of heavy wire fell out and bounced off if my steel toe. I never felt a thing and there was only a small tear to the boot's leather.

Bought Xmas last year and they only rook a couple days to break in. I drive heavy haul trucking, and I am up and down all day every day. My only complaint is the orange part of the sole has completely ripped off of the boot.

Good work boot after broke in. Size a little different than my cowboy boot in same style. They replaced with no trouble. Bigger than normal size. I recommend Order at least 1/2 size smaller..

Instant comfort, fit like a glove. Just go 1/2” smaller than your normal size. I take 9 1/2” D in non-steal toe Ariat boots and a 9D in steal toe

Very bad boot right boot was very loose and big too the point my calf ankle and hip started to hurt very bad at end of day. Left boot was a little better but sad when you pay so much and have to buy another pair after one month.

Great boots. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted thru two years of walking on grating and in water. Never had any boots last as long these have.

I bought these about a year ago and wear them almost everyday in the winter. They’re very comfortable and only took about 2 weeks to break in. However, in less than a year they’ve started to come apart. Super disappointed.

I bought these boots thinking they would be comfortable. They ended up rubbing my calves at the top. Then I noticed it had poor craftsman ship at the top and the material was frilly and was rough. Poor quality boot. Dont buy it as the quality is not there for the money spent. If I could give less than one star I would.
