    Had to cut them off

    I’ve owned two pairs of this boot and they lasted some time. They are very comfortable and fit great. I work in an oil refinery and these boots were tuff and durable. The problem I had with both pairs is that after about 6 months the inner liner pulled out. On the first pair, I tried to get my foot out of the boot for 20 minutes before I finally took out my knife and cut them off. Second pair did the same thing about 8 months in, but I was able to use them for a little while I would just have to fix the liner every time I took them off. Then I had the terrible experience of getting my foot stuck again in the boot. After wrestling them off for 15 minutes I threw them in the trash. These would be great boots if they could figure out this problem

    I have owned these boots for 11 months and they have been ok until now. The mesh liner has started trying to pull out when I remove my foot. This makes them very difficult to take off. This is my third pair of mesh lined boots and they have all had this issue eventually, although the other two brands lasted nearly twice as long before it happened. These boots have been worn mostly indoors and well taken care of. They are still comfortable and are in great shape other than this issue. Due to my experience, I will not be purchasing mesh lined boots next time.

    I bought these about 2 wks. ago for work. I’m a Lowboy truck driver and am pretty hard on boots I just don’t cut’em much slack. With that being said I have also been wearing pull on boots for about 50 yrs. (no joke that’s all I wear) and these might just be the most comfortable out of the box boots I’ve ever had. And nice lookin as well. GOOD BOOTS!

    I bought these boots a little over two months ago from the Fort in Lincoln Nebraska and they have stopped being waterproof around the toes. The are very comfortable and I wear them about 12 hours a day for work in all types of weather.

    Great pair for couple months then the left boot kept getting stuck eventually I got it off but it got so bad one day I couldn’t get it off cause the mesh material clumped up and I had to cut it off

    Very disappointed in these boots. I wore them for less than a month and already the inner liner is coming out when I try to slip my boots off. I have to hold the liner in order to get my foot out . Not what I would expect after only a few weeks of wearing them. The last pair Ariat boots I had lasted 3 years.

    I have had a pair for over 3 years and they are still my go to boot for around the farm I have had many other pairs of boots that have just not lasted like this pair of boots have I will be purchasing another pair in the very near future. These boots are great for anyone looking for a high-quality work boot at a reasonable price. Not only are these boots durable but they are also great looking and would make a great casual wear boot.

    They were great the first 2 months, then I started having a tough time getting my left boot off of my foot. It felt like something in the heel area was grabbing hold of me. About 3 months in, today after work, it took me 3 minutes if pulling with all of my might to get the dang thing off. I had a pair of metal snips in hand, ready to cut it off. I gave it one more shot, got a Charley horse in my calf but managed to escape. Horrible! 4 years on the last pair, I would not buy again!

    Had these for 2 months and outsoles are already deteriorating as well as the insoles starting to peel back on the heel. Comfortable boot for long hours but was expecting to last longer.

    It has poor quality leather, shaft is folding down. Only wore it a year but only like 5 months out of the year. First week the yellow grips on the bottom soles fell off. Feet were soaked with water going in the creek, so no it's not waterproof and never should of gotten the title waterproof. Maybe worth 50 dollars. I wear a 10, bought 10 wide and none of my toes are protected, maybe half my big toenail.

    Very comfortable boots and not a lot of break-in time is needed. However, I have had two pairs of these boots (one replaced under warranty) and both pairs have had the inner liner separated making it very difficult to remove the boot. The first time the boots only made it 2.5 months before it happened, the second time it took about 6 months for the liner to detach. I wish they would fix this issue because I love how comfortable the boots are.

    Boots are great, Boot Barn however wasn't. Misleading advertising, says in stock and ships in 2-3 days. Not in stock. Ariat themsleves didn't have stock. Rang multiple times and was told I'd be called back within 24 hours, every time no call back. Then after about 2 weeks a shipping notification came.

    My first pair lasted 3-4 years until my work compromised the waterproofing. I was able to stand in 8-9 inches of water to mid up storm structures. When the water proofing wore off from scratch’s and what not I bought another pair but within 6-8 months the interior liner separated from the boot making it take up to 10-15 minutes to get one boot off. I contacted airboat of the problem. But never got any reply. My dumb self thinking it might have been that pair I bought another set and the same thing happened. The quality of these boots went down dramatically from when I bought the first pair in 2018!!

    I've worn these boots for years now. They are great in almost every way. My only gripe is the insole. They are very thin and flat, leading to sore feet and legs. I replace the insole and these boots outlast every other brand I've tried.

    I love my Ariat, but for some reason this specific style required a longer break-in time than my WorkHog XT Work Boots and my Big Rig Work Boots. Both of those required almost no break-in period. With the WorkHog Work Boots unfortunately I had to wear only for a few hours then switch to other work shoes until they were fully broken in which was far more of a hassle. For reference I walk a guaranteed 7,500-10,000 to steps a day on concrete, gravel, and climbing ladders. In general Ariat will last me a little over a year (1 year, 2 or 3 months) before the sole starts to really show wear and the liner will rip. The Timberland Pros I used to use prior to switching to Ariat would start to have the sole separate from the shoe at about the 6 month mark, and cloth liner would wear through and absolutely ruin the foam beneath before the 1 year mark. The Merrells before that started to have issue with the soles between 4-6 months. In my experience the Ariat work boots have been significantly more durable for only a little bit higher upfront cost.

    Bought boots a couple weeks ago. So far they are holding up well and definitely waterproof (stood in some puddles to test). I tried many different companies of boots and Ariat (along with Caterpillar) had the best fit for a slip on boot. Roomy but still clung to the heal to prevent slippage. Break in period was 2 days of slight discomfort and now they are good. I would have preffered a half size smaller in a wide option but it is difficult to get my heel in (very easy to take off). This is my only concern as i can see it wearing the heel in overtime when i struggle to get it on (may buy a long shoe horn to see if it helps). So now the boot is a bit too roomy for the work i do so they will be for the slow days.

    Owned them for 5 years. Mid duty work and every day wear, yes the mesh wore out behind the heels after year 3, that's a good run compared to most boots produced now. Changed the inserts every year and kept on rolling. Water resistant is more accurate, then again I don't think western boots are meant to wear in the snow all day either.

    Ive had these boots for a little less than two years now. Theyre still amazing. The insole gave out around year one but the waterproofing is still great. I have just about ran the sole flat and I hardly have any feet pain. These boots are great for doing anything and everything Ive put them through.

    For as expensive as theses boots are they didn’t even last a year and the soles in bottom are so soft that walking across a gravel driveway I could feel stones pushing up into the bottom of my feet. The bottoms started separating and i had to glue back together after 6 months. Loved the composite toe and the fit was good otherwise. Would not buy again

    Bought these after wasting money on another brand. Had the others for two weeks and two different pair of insoles. By the time the day was over my heel hurt so bad I could hardly walk. Bought these WorkHogs and been wearing two weeks ten hour days. Heel issues are now gone. No break in and comfortable out of the box. Have learned my lesson and will stick with Ariat.

    Awesome boots overall. I would have given them a score of 10 except I feel the insoles wear out a bit too soon. Boots don’t require any break in time, just put them on and out the door you go.

    These boots are awesome. Have had them for about 2 weeks, wearing them 5-7 days a week for up to 9hrs a day, and my feet feel better than if I wore athletic shoes all day. The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. And on top of that, work in waterworks, my feet have been staying dry. The Waterproof leather boots are fantastic.

    I assume it will last as long as my previous pair of Work Hog Steel toe boots. Positives are the appearance and apparent build quality. Negatives are 1) it feels a bit tighter width wise than my previous pair, 2) it seems a bit warmer than my previous pair so my feet sweat more, 3) it is taking longer to break in than I recall the previous pair taking, and 4) the shaft of the boot around the calf is bigger than before. The shaft is too big in my opinion. I’m not a small guy. I’m nearly 200 pounds at 6’ tall and wear a size 9 in these boots. There is no need for that much space in the shaft. It pokes my jeans out a bit. Hopefully after the leather breaks in it will bend in closer to my leg.

    I've only had these boots for 2 days now the right boot inner liner is separated from the boot causing it to suction cup to your foot making it very difficult to get the boot off it took me every bit of 30 35 minutes trying to get that boot off I hope this is not the start of a core design when it comes to durability because the comfort is there it's awesome the look is there it's awesome but it's only my second day and I'm already having issues I know area I can do better than this

    I am a lineman. Normal shift is 8-50 some hours depending on weather and days of the week. Spend a good amount of time doing work out of my hooks and these boots are great in all terrain, all weather, and on the pole.Have had them one year and they are still going strong and waterproof is still holding up. Will definitely buy another pair!

    Heavy duty boots. Not good for a lot of walking on uneven ground, but great for walking in moderate ground, fields, garages, etc. wearing them for a couple weeks. When I can keep my socks pulled up I love them. They are water proof, I e tested them working in shallow creeks cleaning clogged culverts. And already hit them with barbed wire no issues.

    For the past 3 years, we have purchased a pair of these boots for our grandson. His job requires that he work in all kinds of weather, so they only last a year. Very nice looking boots!

    I have had these boots for about 2 years now and the have pleased m well. I don't put them under extreme stress, but I still treat them as work boots because that is what they are. They have up very well compared to the pair wolverine's I previously had. They are a little big on my feet but I have high arch and a narrow foot.

    These boots look good, are comfortable, work great in the snow and extremely water proof. However I have only had these boots 5 months and the soles have holes and are super warn, when I crouch and crease the fabric around the steel toe, it gets stuck and rubs on my right foot for the rest of the day, I weigh 150lbs and am a tractor and automotive mechanic and am not super hard on them. This is very disappointing as my last pair of ariats lasted 5 years before they were in this shape and these ones have only lasted 5 months, I really hope this isn’t the new standard for ariat boots!

    I've been wearing these Workhog H2O Comp Toe boots for five months now and they are great! They took about 2-3 weeks to break in but I did not find the break in period too uncomfortable. These are my fifth pair of Ariat Work Boots and I stay with them because they are so comfortable. I am on concrete floors at least six days a week averaging 10 hours a day. My closet is full of Ariat Cowboy Boots as I live in them.

    I have wore Ariat WorkHog boots for over a year now. My first pair lasted over a year. I work in industrial wastewater and many of their competitor’s boots wear out as quick as 3 months. I’m quite pleased with the product.

    I bought these because the first pair I ordered of different model was out of stock so I ordered a size down from my normal size because first pair was sloppy. I wanted them to be on the snug side because I know they would loosen up once broken in. These fit perfect on one foot and pretty snug on the other. I am just getting them broke in fully and the one is just a bit to snug yet. The right foot is tight still while the other fits perfect, this is the opposite of the first pair I ordered and had to send back, so I so not think is due to my feet being slightly different. If you are normal width but want a steel toe perhaps go with the next width up. Overall they are great boots, just be aware that they can be warm due to the waterproofing liner so if you are working in hot conditions, may want to rethink these. I like they and the footbed and insole all are great. My only issue is the fit I have had 6 pairs of ariats and sent back at least 3 pairs over the years because they seem to vary to much in sizing. A size 12 fits differently between models and even the pair. They need tighter quality controls on sizing in my opinion, just too much variability. That said I only buy Ariats because they seem to always have to most comfy platform, outsole and insole.

    This a great and comfortable pair of boots! However, the lining has come loose in one of the boots making them extremely difficult to get off, I have to slide my hand down behind my heel to hold the liner in place for my heel to slip out. This is the second pair of boots to have done this.

    I bought this boot a month ago. Feels great on the feet. Composite toe is nice. Waterproof is amazing for them rainy days. Will definitely buy this boot again.
