      Bad quality and craftsmanship

      Horrible boots for work, first 2 days the BOA system failed with just walking. My first time with Arita and it’s not a good experience. You normally get what you pay for but this might not be the case here. Now I’m out using my old boots for the next 6 months until I can save up and buy new ones. As of now I definitely won’t be getting Arita again. Timberland has always been an old reliable for me and it might just have to say that way.

      Excellent boot! I thought the BOA fit system was a gimmick but it really tailors the fit of a pull on boot. Extremely supportive and the Carbon toe doesn’t crowd my toes. They do have a stiffer bottom than every other boot I’ve worn. I’m a fan of the stiffer bottom though. I walk all day and my feet don’t fatigue and get sore like they did with my old boots. I wear a 10D in regular boots and I had to get a 10EE in these to get the fit right. If you like thicker socks you will want the wider boot size.

      Received my order and the boa function was broken on the right boot. I re-ordered and have still not received my order even though expected arrival date was 4 days ago.

      BOA kicks butt

      The BOA system is a total game changer!! It allows the boot to be slightly looser, to get my wide foot in, then tightens down enough that my heal doesn’t come up- the most common issue I face with pull-on boots. I feel confident running in these pull-on work boots.

      I’m an awkward size between men’s and boys. It’s hard to find a boot that fits properly without going to a cobbler or special ordering. I will never understand why boots stop at boys 5 and begin at men’s 7. It’s almost as if the sizes between don’t exist in their minds. Anyways, these boots with the BOA adjustment give me proper fit without slippage.
