I've been wearing these shoes for years and are the only slip-on shoes that I've ever been able to wear. These are very seldom seen in stores outside of Sheplers for reasons unknown. I noticed other brands starting to carry this style but they are more expensive and don't fit my feet as well. 

This is my second pair to replace my old and worn ones that lasted for about 3 years of daily wear. I got them mainly because I have a bad back and I have trouble bending to tie laces and the pull - on design, along with a long shoe horn, makes this much easier. I also travel a lot as an engineer and have to take them off while passing through security at airports. Also a good general - purpose work boot as I spend a lot of time in industrial settings. The rubber soles provide good grip on factory floors and outside snowy weather. They're not water - proof or insulated, but that would add cost. In my lifestyle as an engineer with a bad back, I find them ideal. They're good - looking boots and I get a lot of compliments on them.

Not the same out of the box comfort as the Wexford but with a much better after market insole in place, it’s fairly close. I can wear these for awhile without consequences now.

I like the construction and all of the boots but I wanted the color on the picture, not a dark dark brown, have to return.

Good shoes shipping took longer than expected even tho I paid extra

I was very disappointed to see "Made in China" on my new boots. I like the boots, but my confidence is rattled. I cannotrecommned bootsmade inChina toothers.

spot hog shoes. Can be worn allday and remain comfortable.

I looked for these types of boots for years.I had a pair about 12 years ago.I wore them 8 before they finally came apart.they weren't Ariat spot hogs.they were by a company that was called mount washington gore boots.that company must of went out of business.cause I've been looking for,maybe4 or 5 years.I couldn't find anything similar to those.these seem to be pretty close.I think they'll be pretty good boots.I should get good service out of these.they seem well made.I like the stitching.& how the soles to the leather are double stitched.the soles themselves have a nice tread pattern.nice deep treads there.I honestly don't know much about ariat.these are my very first pair.I hope they last me as long as my last boots.that were similar to these.so far so good I've not really put them through their paces yet.I think I just had them 2 weeks.but I can say they fit good,wear good.& are breaking in nicely.so far I'm overall very well pleased.ask me in a year to 8.then I can tell you more of how good they were for me.

Nice but run small.. No 1/2 sizes so they won’t work

I LOVE these boots. I wear them everywhere and they clean up well even after 5-6 years of use and abuse. Find some boot paste or similar product to keep the leather moisturized and looking good after you've been rough on them. I'll be resoling this pair for another 5-6YR stint!

They were comfortable right from the start and are good looking!

I bought the Spot Hog Boot and have been wearing it everyday for about a month. It is a great boot and so easy to slip on and off. I had a previous pair in an 8.5 but in a different style, my 8.5 in the Spot Hog might be a bit bigger.
