    These were just the style I wanted and the fit is good. However, they are really heavy - and that's without a steel toe. It would be great if Boot Barn posted weights of their boots, because I wouldn't have gotten these if I had known.

    Received these boots as a gift and wore them every single day. I made no attempt to care for them at all and they still lasted me 9 years before the sole detached.Mostcomfortable pair of footwear I've ever owned.I plan on purchasing a replacement pair within the next 3 months.

    Boots are great, Bootbarn web service not so much. First pair of boots I ordered took 5 days to get and I opened the box the boots they sent were used. They returned them and had to reorder.

    I purchased these boots for work as a commercial airline pilot. Both because of their professional appearance and because of their durability and warmth. I woke up in Edmonton, Canada this morning and am currently sitting in Minneapolis. My captain was complain about about how cold his feet were. He didn't walk around the plane like I did and my feet were very comfortable and dry in -25° weather wearing only one pair of regular socks and these boots. Great product!

    I love these boots, I bought them for work but they are pretty fashionable as well in my opinion. They are extremely comfortable and I wouldn’t even consider them broken in just. Will be purchasing another pair for causal wear

    Photo on website and actual boots were spot on accurate. Boots fit great right out of the box and get better as I wear them. Will deal with Sheplers again.

    This is my fourth pair of Ariat work boots and they are by far the most comfortable work boots that I have owned. Spent nearly 20 years in popular lace up boots, averaging 3 pair per year, before I gave these a shot. These are lasting an average of 9-10 months per pair and feel nearly as comfortable the first day as they do the last day. If I didn't wear through the toe, I would likely get more than a year out of each pair. Tried Justins, but felt wrong from the beginning with a couple pair coming apart internally. Decided to give these a shot and not disappointed at all. Will continue to buy these boots.

    Nice comfortable boot great material but I have a wide foot bought the wide width and it's still snug after a bit of break in time it felt a bit better.

    It's early but I feel like these boots will last me a couple of years. Let alone they are comfortable as walking on a pillow and they look really good with any pair of jeans. (Only have had them for a couple of months.)

    Got these boots because black and waterproof all around great boot best on hard surfaces this is a long use review they stand up great only problem is insole gives off a cat urine odor could change insole but they feel so good i’ll just put up with smelly Sox and boots I will buy again

    These boots were made for cattlemen, because they stand up to the kind of stuff that can wreck other boots. They don't have a steel toe, but they still help cushion the weight of that cow that "accidentally" steps on your foot. I ordered these online from the number that was still inside my three year old boots. If these last as well as my last two pair of the same boot, I will be pleased and comfortable. So far, these are every bit as comfortable as my last ones. I will order these again when the time comes for new working boots. You can't beat the support, comfort, and safety.

    last pair was great. lasted 4 or 5 years of weekend and home use. i used the size and model number and matched perfect. not even close. they were to narrow and to short. i tried to save some money and time and buy online. if you dont put them on first, your probably going to town anyway.

    I have been wearing Ariat boots for over twenty-years. Along with Justin, and Tony L. , Ariat is the best quality and fit in their respective price point. I also want to mention that the ordering process through Shepler's was thorough and smooth.

My old pair fit well and was properly snug in the heel, so that I had to pull them on by hand with a little effort. The new pair (same size and style) has far too much heel lift and I can put them on without bending over to pull them on. I feel like I could walk out of them. Replaced with 1 size down which was far too constricting, but still went on too easily! Not sure why they changed the design so drastically.

    I usually can wear a size 9 D width boot without problems. I tried wearing this size boot from Ariat, but I could not get my foot in it. So I tried a size 91/2 with the same width, which was the one I ordered. Again, I could barely get my foot in it. The D width by Ariat is too narrow, more suited for a woman's foot than a man's. I plan to return the boots.

    EE Is Too Narrow

    If you need EE width, you need to know that these boots even though they are offered in a EE width, they are not EE. They are more like a D width. I’ve returned mine. The sales clerk at Boot Barn where I returned them said that Ariat boots are generally very narrow.

    I got these for my husband to replace his Caterpillar ones which he had for about 6 years. These took no time at all to break in. He has no problems being in them for long periods of time. The leather is a nice soft leather which I wasn’t expecting. Overall he’s very happy with them. As for longevity only time will tell.

    I wear these boots everywhere except for date night. They are comfortable, durable, long lasting and just about everything I could want in a boot. I farm and wear them during work and don't mind wearing them on some 20 hour days so overall a great boot!

    I gave them almost a year before review. Let me start with I love ariat from boots to pants because the are the best in comfort and durability especially in boots. I am a public servant and wanted a good pull on to wear with my uniform to get away from the lace up lines but that is hard to find in black. This boot looks great and meets the standard in durability. The sole wears amazingly, but comfort thats where they fail. Every other Ariat boot I own from dress to work feel wonderful on my feet. These are like torture, I tried to blame everything else first but the fact is if I don't wear these for a few days my feet stop hurting. When I say hurting, I mean I'm hobbling around the house when I take them off at the end of the day because my feet Hurt! These are a little narrow so I had to go a 1/2 size up but that shouldn't matter as they don't slip on my foot. I hope Ariat fixes this with the same technology as their other work boots and these will be a home run.

    I absolutely loved this boot, just used them for knock around boots, no actual hard wear and tear on them. Like others have mentioned, the soles just fell off of them one day, I couldn't believe it!! I thought I had these durable, tough work boots and they fall apart with just light usage. I've glued the soles back a couple of times but about to throw them in the trash.

    I really wanted to like these boots but after trying both a 9.5 and 10 I can't seem to find a good fit. My feet are pretty average, tending to be just a bit on the wide side. The 9.5 didn't sit right under my arch and the 10 feels as if it's just hanging on my foot...big, clunky, and no real fit. The heel area feels large and loose so lots of heel movement. They'll be going back to the store today.

    Boot is soft. Breaking in period is shorter than other boots I bought. And best of all is the boot withstands the desert heat which is usually 100 degrees and higher.
