      I have to stop buying Ariat jackets. I discovered the company fairly recently and this is the third one I purchased. The quality is as good as anyone’s, they fit as they should, they look good , and shipping is faster than I might expect. This jacket is warm and I like it as a change from all the puffer jackets out there. It stands out here in Chicago.

      i bought this last winter, and it's too warm for a georgia winter. i love it, though. the only downside is the pockets. the bottom seam is flat, level with your belt. whatever you put in your coat pocket will definitely fall out unless you touch it every 30 seconds. the inside "flask pocket" works great for phones, and i've got pants for keys and wallet. so the pockets arent a drawback, they were just designed only with hands in mind. in 2 winters so far, i have no rips or tears in the outer shell, no issues with the zipper, no issues inside the jacket, no issues with the pockets except for the design. my jacket is still in new condition after daily use for 2 seasons. and thats putting the jacket on and taking it off several times because it's not really cold where i live. if you live in a warmer area where you only have 4-5 real cold days a year, dont buy this one. get a thin weatherproof jacket and wear hoodies underneath for the real cold days. you northern folk already know more about the cold than i do, so have at it.

      Alot better than I would have expected normally canvas coats are very bulky and hard to move in but this jacket is very easy to move in and is also super warm. Would recommend

      Amazing warmth and comfort. The Sherpa lining is really comfortable. The quality is great as well. Fits true to the size. I’m about 5ft 9, 190lbs and the large fits great

      4 outta 5 stars. Great jacket, repels water and snow well, and keeps me warm while doing the chores around the horses or just being outside. I’ve worn this jacket almost constantly since getting it as we have had a ‘real’ winter in Colorado. The sizing is spot-on, and leaves room to wear more clothes underneath if needed. I’ve been impressed at how it keeps the wind out, breathable, and the hood works like it’s supposed to. Only issue I have are the hand pockets. Perfect for keeping your hands warm, so no problem there. The jacket pockets do not have zippers, and so your keys, phone, wallet, etc., will fall out of the pockets the moment you bend over, ride a horse, get out of a vehicle, whatever. A little bit deeper pocket and zippers would make this a 5-star jacket, easily.

      Overall a nice combo of warmth and roominess. I ordered a size XXL Tall. Really helped to make the bottom a little longer. Sleeves could stand to be an inch longer tho. Nice and soft from the start. So far seems to be good quality. Hope it lasts me for a few years. Also not a huge thing but the hood has a nice shape and doesn’t stay down in your eyes. Fits well. Hope this helps!
