Ariat's Mesteno performance boots are made with quality that lasts! These boots are constructed with full-grain leather for comfort and durability.They have a 13" full-grain leather shaft and are fully leather lined. A wide square toe and low heel give these boots a great look, but also make them great performance boots! The outsole features Ariat's handcrafted Toughstock Butyl-treated leather outsole with traditional hand nailed 11-iron weight construction.This sole resists wear and can be resoled. It is more durable and flexible than traditional leather outsoles and it's Duratread heel tap is slip-resisting and adds durability. The ATS technology offers optimal stability and all-day comfort for performance you can depend on. ATS features include: a moisture-wicking footbed for comfort, a gel-cushioned footbed with a heel stabilizer for shock absorption and support, and a lightweight composite forked shank for stability.

I own two pair of Ariats... my kick arounds that I can wear for everything and these. These boots are beautiful. becautious of water cause it takesthefinish away. I solvedthis by using a "dry Brush" technique with some boot oil/treatment, it brought back that original look. Now that Ive learned, I only wear them to shows or nice functions. They are by far the best fitting boot I have owned and I get more compliments on them than any other. My next boots are going to be the black Tombstones for my wedding.... I cant wait to get them.

I bought these boots about a month ago and I have to say they are the most comfortable pair of boots that I have! Once they are broken in and lose the stiffness they are great. If you are able to keep them looking nice and you take care of them then I guarantee that they will last you many years!

When I first bought these boots I was first impressed by how they fit to my foot and how comfortable they were. After walking around, ridinginthesaddle,and occasionallygetting wet I came to notice that the leather was wearing off faster than I could imagine. After eight months and a couple hundred dollars down the drain, I have come to understand that these boots are not durable and seems to me made out of cheap leather. I am very disgusted with the way these boots held up!

Bottoms wear down quick

I'v had these boots for not even a week ago I only wear them to school and back then take them off but the bottoms have worn down so much that you can't even see the logo on the bottom of the boot. Rubber bottoms hold up a whole lot better and I'd suggest any with rubber bottoms to you.

I like a lot of things about these boots, they fit great. The problem is I wore these boots to a rodeo and it rained quite a little bit. Even though I justconditioned themthe day before the watertotally washedthepolish and nice 'texture' or distressed looks off of the boots. Now they just look like a plain pair of brown leather boots. I thought boots were made to wear and not wear out with in the first two weeks of owning them, apparently I was wrong. I wouldn't recommend these boots to any one that might get them a little wet and I highly doubt I ever buy another pair of Ariats again.

The boot is nice quality minus reviews on sole wear. I took my boots to the local cobbler and had vibram rubber sole protection added to the boots for $40.00, I am glad I did it. Fit is normal to size, a good looking quality boot, I would have given (5) stars, rates (3) due to other reviews on sole wear. Pardi.

I bought these 8 months ago and I already have a hole in the bottom of the sole. The last pair I had lasted about 4-5 years. I now know not to buy Leather sole Ariats.

I tried these boots on while we were in town for the Cowboys v. Eagles game in Oct'19. Of ALL the boots on the shelves in my size range, these visually jumped out at me and fit better than any of the myriad of pairs I tried on. I opted not to get them at that time; I was buying for four of us, so something had to wait. I couldn't stop looking these up online after returning home, the online pricing/discounts were tantalizing...AND THEN I discovered that I could use AFFIRM to purchase them and not impact my holiday shopping budget. I have them now, and of all my pairs of boots, even those with 20+ years of comfort wear, these are my GO-TO boots for everyday wear, business casual/work, and Church! SO COMFORTABLE and the ATS technology is very forgiving of my many rodeo ailments. I may just be getting the other Mesteno model in Clay color soon.
