I am a long time Ariat fan and have had multiple pairs of boots from them. These boots are ridiculously heavy. Stiff even after over 120 hours of wear. I’m writing this review because after today I have had enough and am tempted to throw these in the garbage. Blisters on both of my heels, and yes I wear thick wool socks to combat it. These boots look nice but looks are deceiving. They are heavy, stiff (Yes even after over 120 hours and probably over 80 miles walked), and uncomfortable. I’m a lineman and therefore I really expected more out of these boots from the name....

This boot has a lining so it is comfortable to wear and does not rub my ankles. It does what I need it to do, which is work outdoors in all kinds of weather. It also has electrical protection for when working on wiring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very handsome and comfortable boot. It is high quality and offers serious foot protection. They are heavy but I don't notice that when I'm wearing them. Very rugged/aggressive tread offering superior outdoor and indoor traction. Warm and watertight, can't go wrong with these. Always remember the if you buy cheap you buy twice rule. Your feet deserve superior footwear and these fit the bill.

You can tell just by looking at the massive sole, these are going to be heavy.
For linesmen standing on poles all day, not so much for walking. These are very easy to clean thanks to the "side guard"

While the title is correct once you put this boot on, you are gonna feel like you're on the side of a mountain ready to ski the slopes, a pair of concrete blocks duct taped to your feet would feel better than these things. Holy cow it actually makes you walk as if you were wearing a space suit on the moon. And that is no exaggeration. Stiff, thight, heavy......heavy, one day use left me with bruised ankle, bruised toes and a broken toe nail!!!! Don't buy it......run the other way!!!!

Best boot for pole climbing. You never feel your hooks after hours of pole work. The steel shank is strong. If your not working, these would probably be too heavy.
