    I haven't had a pair of cowboy boots since college in No. Cal where it's cooler, but I was looking for a new pair of weekend work boots and I was tired of sawdust, mulch and dirt ending up down the throat of my traditional work boots. The minute I put these on, at the suggestion of the sales girl, my feet said "oh yeah!", fit like a glove, didn't try another pair. Wife likes the look, kids tease me that they're the only shoes I wear when I'm home. I've even worn them coaching kids baseball when somebody needed to throw BP. Work this pair so hard I'm going to buy another so I've got a "good pair" for going to the game, dinner, etc. Love Ariat!

    I have bought this style ariat boot for over 15 years, and the one thing I liked best was the fact that they were comfortable to walk in with the first step. That was not true with this pair, and bottom line, they were uncomfortable. I hope they break in to where I can stand to wear them. The price has also continued to go up, and I doubt if I will buy another pair.

    Well, after 2 1/2 years of utter abuse and only getting one neadsfoot oil treatment last month, these are the toughest boots I've owned. Just now developing a split on the outside of the right boot - time for new ones.....snow gets in 'em. Like I said, they've been ABUSED. Any boot that stands up to what I put them through for that long with virtually no care has to be one tough mother. Git'er done, Ariat. Good job.

    This is my third pair of Ariats. Once you get a pair, you'll wear no other boot. Just make sure you clean them off after each wear and they should last you a few years.

    I got these exact boots 9 years ago, and they were a perfect fit and perfectly comfortable from the first moment I put them on. They've been my favorite footwear ever since, until they recently died and I had to find new boots. I ordered these, which are the slightly updated model of the same boot. They do not fit the same, are a little big, and the area around the heel (on the side) is very stiff and not cushioned at all. I figure they are still better than most other brands though. I just wish they hadn't changed them at all since I got my last ones. Don't understand why people keep changing things that are already a great product.

    I wear a 6.5 usually but always need a 7 with Ariat. I have narrow feet but the B fitting was too tight to be comfortable. Got the C fitting and wore them straight away for a week long riding holiday and they were perfect. they look great and are super comfy with a thick sock.

    I would suggest ordering a size larger than your normal shoe size. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe and I find the 10 1/2 very comfortable even with a nice warm sock. I think the more I wear them, the more I will love them. I'm a happy camper.

    I am very happy with the ropers. After one day of wearing them all day, they were broken in. They were a little snug at first, but the leather stretched to fit my foot and now they are perfect. I was a little disapointed that the leather was not as dark as what the picture shows, but after waterproofing them and wearing them for a couple of days, they darkened up to what I wanted.

    The process to purchase them was painful since they had to be ordered to get my size. I bet we had to place the order 5 times on the associates hand held device. Took about 30 minutes too long to order a pair of boots. Once I received the boots, I've enjoyed the one time to wear them.

Right boot —-tugged,, pulled, twisted, stood up and still no where near foot going in Boot barn refunded my order I. Timely manner no problems with store but the wrist boots didn’t up this time

    I've been wearing this boot for flight operations for a number of years. It has a rubber sole that makes it safe around fuel and oil found on aircraft ramps. They are not too pricey and seem to last 8-10 years.

    The boots looked OK but fit was terrible. I ordered my regular size but when I put them on and wore for a while toots were rubbing my feet just below ankles so uncomfortable I had to remove. The right boot was so tight that I had great difficulty removing it (and my right foot is actually smaller than the left). The right boot felt at least a full size smaller than size stamped in boot.

    I have only had these boots for one full work day. I have tried eight different boots over the past year for work. I have had problems with finding a boot tight enough and yet have enough room for my toes. I needed a boot with a low instep and these fit the bill. Any one that has a high instep these are not for you. Very good for me though. Had them on for 12 hours day one and my feet feel great. Will have more input in a few weeks!

    Heel wearing faster than anticipated. Could be my gait. So I put heel saver cleats on them. Otherwise it's a great comfortable boot. Use distressed leather conditioner .becuase mink oil darkens leather and you lose the distressed look.

    Staff at BootBarn were great!I needed a versatile boot that I could wear with jeans, a suit or my uniform. This boot covers it all and is super comfortable to boot (pun intended). I bought the wide (EE) version for my slightly wide foot and it fits great with boot socks. Very secure but not too tight. The outsole is very durable and has just the right amount of surface gripe. The insole is very comfortable and the leather is just the right thickness to feel substantial and durable but not hard. The overall experience with the boot is that within minutes of putting them on they feel like old friends that you've been wearing for years. The plain styling makes them very versatile. In a suit they look like dress shoes, in jeans they just blend and in my uniform they look sharp with just the slightest touch of western cool! I'm gonna get the brown ones too!

    The boots are a great fit. Really have enjoyed them so far. Service from the sales lady was great! When picking up the order. The young men working didn’t seem to want to help me. I was ignored and they walked away. Leaving me to wait for the young lady at the register who was on the phone helping a customer.

    Very Very happy with my purchase! ordered my normal size , was abit worrid about them not fitting, but had nothing to worry about, they fit great, very comfortable to wear all day and ride in, plus great colour, will be definatly be getting more of these in the future! =)

    The Heritage line is actually discontinued apparently, but I have had these before and now moved up a size. I am grateful for Boot Barn's system that allowed me to locate the size I needed.

    My Husband Loves these Ariat Boots They are plain round toe comfortable does not put any blisters on his feet when he first wears them. this is the 5th or 6th pair i have bought we live on a farm they go in the stirrup of a saddle great. hope to continue to buy in the futures.

    The distressed leather is very well done. The boot supports your foot well, but is a little difficult to put on.

    What a great boot have never had black boots before and needed a pair for a special occasion wore these once before the big event and was very comfortable I love everything about these.

    I’ve worn the Heritage Roper round toe and wide square toe for years. My last pair, ordered a few months ago, were a real disappointment. Lighter weight uppers and poor quality stitching that is already unraveling. This new pair is not durable enough for horse farm work.

    Boots are not true to size. I wear a size 10.5 D. Left boot is just fine. Right boot is way too tight and cannot be worn.

    These boots are great for everyday wear. I can wear them all day, then keep them on to feed the horses in the paddock without having to worry that I'll wreck them. If the need arises I can even ride in them.

    The item is darker than in photo. Order smaller than you would normally wear. Usually with real western boots you need to order larger than you normally wear. so be warned. Seems like a very well made product. Time will tell.

    Great looking pair of boots. The more you use them the better they look. may run a bit big. But if you know your size in this brand boot they will be just fine..

    Poor inseam that digs into your ankles. Most boots have a leather liner over the inseam to improve the fit and comfort. Not these! I returned them and bought Cody James instead. Much better quality!

    I do like this boot, but it requires more breaking in than my Durangos. The upper is stiff and the right boot rubbed a small sore spot in the middle of my right leg the first time I wore them. They do feel a bit narrow for a B width, but they are comfortable. I wish they came in a russet red that I saw for the men's boots; I'd order those, too.

    I hadn't worn a pair of cowboy boots since I was a kid. After going through three pairs of "tactical boots" walking around as an amusement park security officer, in a year I decided to try a different route. The qualifications were black, can be polished, and rubber sole. These fit the bill perfectly. The only problem is now they're the only shoes I wear. I've had them for 9 months and while I do need to replace the insoles, I'm just now seeing any real wear on the bottom. I plan on picking up another pair of Ariat boots this weekend just to let them share the load.

    I really like the simple look of these boots. However I couldn't get my feet in them after a lengthy 'attempts session'. Got them back from a custom boot repair shop in town today ($20 to stretch them in the ankle area), and now my feet slip in fairly easily. Wore them the balance of the day and they were getting more comfortable as time wore on. I hope that continues. NOTE: my boot guy says that because of the way they're constructed, these boots probably can't be resoled.

    I visited Phoenix and picked up a pair of black Ropers for my hard to fit surgically reconstructed feet! Sadly, women’s boot selection no longer address width issues. I was elated to find the Heritage boots in black (D width) after trying on at least 20 other pairs! I liked them so much I ordered a pair of distressed brown. The brown will take a bit longer to break in due to a leas supple finish, but wearing them every day has made them more pliable. I’ve been walking along the Pacific NW rocky coast through mud, sand and salt water with my 2 high energy German Shepherd Dogs, and the boots provide a solid base of support. These boots seem to be extremely water resistant and almost indestructible! I just brush the dirt off, and I’m ready to wear them to a casual dinner! LOVE both pair but the flexibility of the brown rate them as my daily favorite! Just wish they made them in red!

    Bought these for my son 5 yrs ago. He loved them and wore them to death working on a cattle ranch and just casually and to class. Bought some for another son and he also loves them for EVERYTHING. Now my husband wears them for everything; work and play. He’s had trouble with fasciitis and he says these boots are comfortable to work in all day.

    So Ive owned these fir about 7 yrs now.Full disclosure I only wear them in the summer to ride my motorcycle so 5 mos .They are very comfortable. These are not true biker boots as thet have no toe or steel reinforcement but they do the job

    I wear these boots when riding on the back of the Harley with my husband. I have received many compliments. The boots have a cushiony feel on the bottom are keep my feet cool and comfortable. They are just a little stiff but I hope they will loosen up with time.

    Well-made and comfortable. No breaking in needed. Took polish after I wore them several times and no cuff mars on the top leather so the top leather finish is durable. Ill buy the brown boots soon.

    I have had these boots for 3 years and they are still going strong. the insole could probably stand to be replaced but they are still comfortable enough for me. I am not easy on my boots, I expect them to take a beating and keep up and these do just that. I have torn through many high end "tactical boots" and these outlast any of those without a doubt. I have the brown distressed leather and have not once treated them or cleaned them beside brushing some mud off and they still look great! from date night to church to the desert these boots are great. If your looking for a rock solid boot, this is it!

    I have had my pair for almost 5 years and wear them about 5 days a week. I have found the Ariats very comfortable, wearing them from 8:30am to 9:30pm and I am on my feet all day. An excellent riding boot, I start all my young horses while wearing them. I do condition them once or twice a week, because I am out in the dirt, cleaning stalls, washing horses all of which is pretty rough on boots.

    Had them for a few weeks. Fit great right out of the box. Not stiff like some leather boots.great buy for the price. Could use a little more padding inside towards the front of the foot but overall I’m happy with my purchase.
