    Good comfort bad quality

    Boot is very comfortable but the quality is not great for a work boot. I currently work on drilling rigs and after 2 weeks of work the sole is separating on both sides.

    My first pair of Ariats lasted nearly a year without any issues. My second pair lasted about 3 months before the lining came loose. Ariat covered boots under warranty. I replaced the second pair with the same boot in july, its now October and the lining has came loose on this pair. I have to use a yardstick to remove them. Other than the lining issue, I'm pleased with Ariat boots.

    I got these boots for Christmas and I immediately fell in love with them they were perfect for me. I felt like I could do anything in them. When I go to feed the horses and cows I am confident in the steel tow or when I have to cross the creek to get a calf I know my feet are going to stay dry. They leather is sturdy for the most part but after a couple of weeks I did start to crack and some of the threads came undone but this isn’t unique as all friends boots that are steel toe do the same thing. It took me a twelve hour car trip, a movie, and a couple of blisters to break in the leather and my boots do have some creases in them. I recommend to use leather conditioner (the waxy stuff works better than oils and sprays) to clean and shine these boots. I slip on these boots any time I want to leave the house.

    These boots are terrible for work use, if you wanted to have them last you might just want to walk around on grass or have them be house boots, I work construction and always hear about ariat and how great they are, I had to return 2 different boots and ones I've only had for a month look like they went through a wood chipper because the leather they use is terrible and soft

    Had these for roughly 6 months and they’re comfortable but already letting water in from the sole. Anytime I step in water on my jobsite my socks get soaked. Recommend for comfort but not sure how durable they are

    Bought these for my husband who needed new boots for work. He said they are comfortable and are great for winter because they have a soft lining between the leather and your skin. We might have to invest in another pair of steel toed unlined for the summer so he doesn't over heat but considering the cold months we have they'll definitely get their use.

    I just received my second pair. They are very comfortable I work 12 hours shift on cement. In and out the truck on my feet for 12 hours no problem I would recommend these to anyone that need steal toes. When these wear out I will be getting my 3rd pair. Great Buy!!!

    Honestly this is why I love ariat they make great boots and they are so reliable. The groundbreaker boot is an al around great boot. They are super comfortable they will last you a long time and it doesn't matter what work your doing for example construction farming and ranch work this boot is perfect for all types of work.     I have had these boots for about 5 years and they have been solid weekend work boots that have taken a beating. In the last year, the souls of the boots have begun to delaminate. Some glue fixed them for now. The rubber is starting to crack in a few spots but this has not affected its functionality.

    Bad work boots, side stitching tore open, Inside linning came loose, I normally get a full work season out a a good pair of boots, this were good for 4-5 months half a 3rd what good boots usually last.

    This is my first pair of ariat boots. I chose these because I like some of their clothing so thought ide give them a try. I. An equipment operator so normally I can get a couple years out of a pair of boots from other brands. I hadn't worn these boots a total of three weeks and the lining came loose and can be very hard to take them off as they pull out with foot. Then when you put them on if you don't stuff lining in right it is very uncomfortable. Also not at all waterproof as walking in grass with a morning dew will soak your feet. Would not recommend. Tried to see if it was a warranty issue and got a reply that someone would look at my claim and despite attempts of reaching out again I have heard nothing. Don't waste your money on these.

    I work 10hr shifts on foot at work and these boots do the job. i recommend cushioned soles or comfortable socks. first day wearing them and it stopped a barrel of barbed wire from getting my feet.

    First pair were amazing had them for 2 years before the liningings fell apart. I just got the same exact ones about a week ago. Forgot how bad they tear your toes up from the steel toes. But all in all grat boots once broken in.

    I ordered my normal size and the boots fit perfectly. They were very comfortable right out of the box, no break in required. I haven’t had them long enough to comment on durability.

    Color a little off from the online pictures

    Having worn them all day after receiving them in the mail, I am delighted with how they fit. For one, I surprised at how well they hold the foot in the heel and against the vamp. There is one downside, however. I found the color for "dark brown" to be drastically darker than the images on the website; brand new, the difference in color between the shaft and body portion is much fainter than the striking brown tones found in the online images. Aside from the color–which doesn't matter as much as fit does for a pair of work boots–they function comfortably brand new without giving off the steel-toe vibes most work boots bring to the table.

    i loved these boots very comfortable from the beginning for daily wear in maybe a shop would be good but out on sites are bad after time after 4-5 months the soles ripped off and water was leaking in them aswell of the inner lining falling apart making it impossible to wear comfortably
