Good Jacket. Missing a few features to make it a true cold weather warrior. For one, there is not cinch or gusset at bottom hem of this jacket that stops the wind from blowing up the jacket this is a a serious problem if you let it be one on a cold day.. Pockets within the pockets would be of great to keep important items separate, especially on cold day where you might be putting your hands in and out of the pockets for warmth. More pockets in general would be great. The last feature is a hood. That being said with the proper mid layer (with a heavy duty hood) and bibs, you can work in this jacket in below freezing weather with high winds.
Other wise its more of a heavy coat that can be a bit cumbersome at times but over all warm and durable that serves its purpose. No comments on the color fast nature of the jacket in black but I have washed a blue one and it def lost a bit of color after a month of medium duty work.

This jacket is warmer than I expected. It is very comfortable to work in and well made. They do however run a little larger than my other Ariat jacket and vest, but a little extra room is good. Great jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a photographer, I work on a lot of industrial sites. I needed something that was FR, but also warm enough for the winter. This jacket is warm and almost indestructible. Fits well with a fleece underneath. Has a handy phone pocket and warm hand pockets when I'm just standing around.

Good quality, but considering the price point, disappointed with the lack of pockets. This is a work coat. One single storage pocket is very disappointing. Should have a minimum of one inside, and really miss the waist drawstring.
