      Anything Ariat has is the best of the best. I only wear Ariat FR gear when working on the North Slope in Alaska. The temps range from 40 degrees in the summer to last winter -105

      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FR Hi-Vis Waterproof Insulated Jacket is great - provides wonderful protection from the elements while also providing CAT4 FR protection. I wanted to get something rugged, that would last me years after battering it and putting it to the test, and judging by the craftsmanship of this product I definitely will be using this for years to come. Additionally, I was surprised by how breathable and flexible it was despite how heavy and bulky it seems before putting it on - genuinely excellent quality, couldn't recommend it more.

      Career School Bus Driver and work on cars outside a good deal. I love that it has tall sizes (mine is a 2XL tall). I have worn this jacket about 300 days in the last 14 months; it's great because I can put on a hooded sweatshirt and thermals under it and be good for temperatures up to -20*F. If I needed it, I could wear a down jacket under it and be just fine. In the rainy season/spring breakup, I just wear a long sleeve cotton shirt or a Nike DRI fit under it. I love the pocket locations for ease of use. Cell phone/earbud/pen pocket on inside of jacket on left side. Wallet/keys/knife pocket on outside of jacket on right side. Two oversized pockets that will each fit up to an iPad mini or a JBL Charge portable speaker or a couple cans of soda pop or a pair of winter gloves and a hat. My ok me beef with the jacket is that I wish the reflective tape would not wear out as quickly on the front. I am glad it h as s the second layer underneath to compensate for that. Sleeve cuffs wear a little too easy, so a fabric upgrade on them might up the quality, but I know it's hard to find a material stout enough that cinches without causing chafing.

      Zipper already ripping off

      Worn this about 10-15 times and the zipper is already ripping off the jacket so it makes it difficult to get the zip to catch and start. Not sure how to fix that or if it's fixable. But as far as warmth, waterproof and the big thing is blocking the wind it's a great jacket.

They are a line crew out in the weather. Ariat also has so many different options when it comes to sizing. They work great. Highly recommend. Will be buying more in the future.
