    I bought these pants for my husband. They are rugged, medium weight denim. He has a beer belly and this style suits him well. They are comfortable enough he could sit around all day watching TV in these pants. Which is better than sitting around in underwear I guess. I tell him his butt looks great in these Dickies, and that puts him in a better mood to take out the garbage or unclog the sink. So, in a way, these pants are good for women too.

    As a 59 year old man who at 5'10" and 245lbs does not look good in skinny jeans (!) I have always preferred jeans that sit below my waist but so many brands now are such low rise they feel like they are coming off whenever I bend over. These are the exact fit I'm looking for. As a bonus they are heavier weight denim than most companies are using. Very pleased with these jeans.

    I bought 9 pairs of these pants all the same model number only 2 of the 9 pair fit I had this issue the last order I placed as well, I was told to send the pants back and quality assurance would get back with me. It is like two sizes difference is the pants ... This is bad quality and I have purchased the same pants several times and every time it has been a night mare ...

    The fit is great once you know the Dickies sizing. I wear 32(waist) X 34(inseam) in the 874 original pant. This relaxed fit jean ended up fitting the same being purchased in a 31(waist) X 32(inseam). I prefer these jeans over all the other brands. These jeans have not shrunk & the rinsed indigo blue has not faded at all after three washings........cold cycle/hang-dry

    Wears like iron, super comfortable, price is really good given how long these jeans last.     Good fit, comfortable Only Bad feature with this order is the blue color ran a lot. My dryer drum tali’s turned blue. I’ve had Dickies jeans in the past and no issues, but thesehave colorfast issues.

    I bought 2 pair of these jeans 4 yrs ago. I still wear them today. Just bought 2 more pair recently and was not disappointed. Ready to wear straight out of the box. I'm an aircraft mechanic an having these jeans last and hold up to the work I do is great. I will definitely buy them again.

    I thought relaxed would be loose but I was swimming in these. Returned them for plain straight leg jeans. I'm 6-4 190 lbs for reference. Otherwise I love Dickies, great value, wouldn't buy anything else for work.

    Whilst I am a long term customer of Sheplers these Dickies Jeans are a new Brand for me. I am truely satisfied with the quality, comfort and toughness. I wear these Workhorse jeans when wood cutting and wood splittig in the forest, best done in winter temps, below Zero degrees. The double layer of material protects my legs from thick prickly undergrowth, when manhandling logs into position to be split and from winter snow and wind. My usual jeans could not stand up to this work, I tore the knees out of every pair and froze into the bargain. Whilst the fit is as described, true to size, I appreciate the generous waist measurement which allows room to tuck in winter thermal t-shirts, plus room for a largish lunch. (As I have said previously, tested and proven). They stand up to a good wash and look presentable enough for casual wear. I have never been able to find jeans of this type or quality in Australia or Europe. Excellent value for money [...]

    The quality and value of this product is unquestioned. However, I'm 6'-0" and weigh 170 but have a stocky lower body build. I have problems finding a jean with a properly sized waist to match a relaxed leg fit. These are high quality jeans, but don't match up well with my body build... thus the low rating for comfort.

    Accurate fit I really hate “skinny jeans” and these are not. Pant legs are wide enough to fit easily over boots and they don’t bind when I’m working. Prior Dickies have held up well. Hopefully, they have maintained quality standards and these hold up as well

    I can't really speak to durability as I've only owned them a short period of time and I'm not a seamstress but they from the few times I've worn them, they are comfortable, waist size accurate and there look good. I will say, at least with the two pair I bought, different colors, you will probably have to get them hemmed. The 30" inseam was closer to 36". So I got that taken care of and they fit perfect.

    I purchase these jeans for work and casual dress. The online ordering process was very easy to follow and complete. As with any jean product, it's best to try on each pair for size comparison. My order was for (2) pairs of jeans the same style & size.. Upon trying them on, (1) pair fit perfectly and the other was too snug. Shrinkage would not permit the 2nd pair to fit comfortably after several washings. Otherwise, I enjoy the Dickies brand of jean and they are very durable.

    I have worn dickies work clothing for decades but no more. My recent purchase of the five pocket relax fit jeans is very disappointing these jeans supposedly are designed for comfort and ease of where. Dickies has taken it upon themselves to cut corners to the point that i cannot get my hands in and out of the pockets holding my car keys because dickies has made the pockets so small that, to me they are useless.

    I have worn Dickies jeans for years and love them. They are incredibly durable which is why I only buy one pair every couple of years. I was disappointed that they discontinued my last pair but figured it was time to try a new style. MAN ARE THESE PANTS GREAT! They look fantastic, so my girlfriend says. They fit perfectly. They have just enough stretch that if I am sitting for long periods of time I don't feel it around my waist. They are a great color. I wear them for work, I work in construction, and haven't had any issues with them and they are durable which is what I expect from Dickies.

    I wore Dickies pants for years in retail, denim and khaki. A few years ago I changed jobs and the service company supplied uniforms so my personal stock of jeans was hung aside for the uniforms supplied. I was pleased to find Dickies still has my information and it was so easy to renew my inventory of pants. Still wear the same size and don't care how old I am, I like denim.

    I have 5 pairs of these so I can wear one each day of the workweek. Cons: each pair formed a tear where the back pocket is sewn on. (Maybe my wallet is too fat?) I had to take them all to a tailor to be fixed. Pros: Once that repair was made, the jeans lasted for 3 years in a machine shop setting. Constant kneeling on dirty floors and handling raw bar stock. Bottom line: once they wore out, I bought 5 more.

    I bought these for my husband who has muscular legs and muscular (not flat) backside. He has to cinch his belt up a bit because the waist is so loose, but the hips are kinda tight. This is almost always an issue though. He is slowly stretching them out as needed. And they do look good!

    I bought these and they were extremely stiff, however, they are unwashed and completely untreated so with a few washes Im hoping that they will soften up.

    Great jeans, however they seem to be running a bit small. Have on a pair same size and style that have been in and out of the washer and dryer for 8 mos. and they still fit better than the new ones.

    I love that these jeans have so much room in the right places. I think I could’ve gotten away with a size 34 waist. They run a bit large or I might have just gotten a smaller since. Nothing a good belt can’t fix though. I’m going to size down and see how it feels.

    I have owned Dickies jeans for over a decade. This style of jeans is the most comfortable fit around. I recently needed new jeans so I went to the local mall to try some other brands. I tried on about 12 different brands and wasted about an hour all to return home and order another pair of these Dickies. Nothing fits like these jeans period. Nothing beats the price either!

    A store where I used to buy my jeans (Dickies, of course) closed. I tried the online ordering for the first time; ordering two pair of 5-pocket jeans and it worked out well. Got the jeans in three days with free shipping, too. Great jeans as always and the online price was comparable to, if not a little better than, the store price. Both pairs of jeans fit well and, as they were pre-washed, were comfortable as could be. When the time comes; I will be back to order again.

    In bought a pair early 2018 and enjoyed them so much I don't know why I didn't buy more sooner, so I just bought two more pair. Very comfortable and durable. Sizing was perfect. As a kid my parents and I used to travel to a little town named Lynchburg VA to buy Dickies before school started every year. Very nostalgic to see that Dickies logo again.     I rarely find jeans that fit right off the shelf. At 6'6", the world just isn't that accommodating. Sometimes, you find something that fits,...kind of,... or it is well built,... but rarely do you get the perfect fit and a quality product. Dickies has really done a great job making these durable, everyday, good for most occasions, quality jeans. This is one happy customer. The only unfortunate thing is, they are so good, i probably won't need another pair for a year.

    Have been wearing Dickies 5-Pocket Jeans for several years! I like the fit, pretty comfortable, I wear boots a lot and they go over the top with ease. When they get pretty worn, I get three new pair and the old ones are then used for working around the house and yard and last a long time.

    I have worn L's 560 Jeans for well over 10 years and they decided to discontinue them. I have tried every brand(W's, both L's) and these Dickies Relaxed Straight Fit jeans are by far the best I have tried. They are almost identical to what I was wearing before. The only difference I see is the front pockets are a little narrower and the back pockets aren't as deep. Other than that I don't have any complaints, and that really isn't a complaint. If you are looking for a replacement to L's 560's, seriously give these a try. As long as Dickies continues to make these, they have a customer for life.

    I would recommend ordering one size smaller than you normally wear. Had to purchase a Dickie's belt to keep the Hubb's pants from falling down. Great quality pants otherwise.

    I just purchased 4 pairs of these pants. I like the way they fit and they are very durable. The only problem with this particular purchase is one of the pants rt front pocket had the rivet through it, and just my luck that was the pair I packed. When I tried to put my hand in it it wouldn't go, so I took them off and cut around the rivet. Now the pocket has a small hole through it. I should of returned them but I did not have any other clean pants with me. If we were home I would of grabbed another pair. When we returned home I checked the other 3 pairs and the were all good.

My husband is still the same weight and his other Dickies relaxed fit jeans fit him the same -- they're just worn too much at the seams. These make him look silly. They're going back.

    The denim weight is perfect for work jeans: not too heavy or too light. Tapered at the ankle but not too narrow for work boots. I couldn't find this length (36) in any stores and am thrilled to find them here!

    We always by the Dickies jeans because they last forever and wash up nice. However, this time we noticed these jeans now sit a little below the waist. My husband never noticed this before but commented on it this time. In checking the website afterwards, I observed all the jeans fit slightly below the waist. My husband will get used them though.

    I bought these before with no problems and fit well. This time, although labeled with the size I wanted the length was way off, at least 34 instead of the 32 I ordered. Not a big deal, as I can have them hemmed, but it's an inconvenience. It was nowhere near 32 length.

    Good quality, great fit, extremely comfortable throughout my work day, I work as a shipping/receiving clerk and my job has me on and off a tow motor dozens of times a day, and bending and squatting throughout my day and these jeans don't bind or pinch. At 6' tall, 275lbs, 40" waist, and a 29" inseam it is not easy to find work jeans that fit properly and are comfortable throughout the entire day, these jeans get it done.

    Jeans are comfortable - no issue at all. The only thing that surprised me a bit was the light weight fabric. The last time I bought these same jeans was about 5-yrs ago. I may be mistaken, but it seems the fabric was thicker. It is lighter weight than I expected/remember.

    Bought these jeans to replace the ones I bought three years ago. It took me three years to wear the original three pairs out. I'm retired and wore them pretty much every day. I do my own car and power equipment maintenance. I fell, cut and stack five cords of wood and stack 1500 bales of hay every year. They held up great!

    First pair of dickies jeans ive bought. I ordered my regular size of jeans and loose fit really does mean loose fit. Very baggie. The space between the waist and the crotch is very long. If i pull these jeans up to my belly button the length is fine and the crotch feels comfortable. Problem is i dont wear my pants that high. The crotch sags down between my thighs and the length is too long if i wear them like that.

    I live in jeans. These are very comfortable and true to size. I ordered 4 pair, and they all fit exactly the same. Minimal shrinkage. They are exactly description states. The fit slightly below the waist, but are not prone to crack issues. The fit is exactly what I was looking for.

    I have about 4 or 5 pair of these jeans to work in they have been great until the last pair I bought a couple of months ago have had two of the belt loops just come unraveled at the seam where they are sewed to the side and the belt loop is flopping in the breeze. I hope they have a visit with the quality control or the machine that sewed them. But They are really good jeans and very comfortable.

    I have been a Shepler's customer for many years. [...] These are a new Brand of jeans for me, and my first review ever. Excellent jeans. Ideal for outdoor work, both in the garden or when wood cutting in the forest even during winter snows. They are tough but comfortable and presentable enough as casual wear. The waist whilst true to size is generous enough to comfortably tuck in several winter layers, t-shirt, thermal T-shirt, plus an overshirt and still room enough to comfortably indulge in a largish lunch, (tested and proven). I will certainly buy more of these, from Sheplers naturally.

    I bought these about a month ago I love the jeans, but I ordered a 34-32 and the tag said 34-32 but it is not, it is a 36-32. I have several pair of the carpenter jeans in the relaxed fit that all 34-32 and fit perfect I don't understand why these are bigger in the waist. I hate to wear a belt, and it's no way I can fit in a 32-32. Very disappointed.

    I bought these for every day wear. but in getting them the length was too long. label was marked correctly, but they where 31/2 inches too long. laying them upon another pair that fits, was the first clue, they where too long? took them to tailor who measured them also, too long? having them tailored to fit by tailor.

    I've been using Dickie's jeans for many years now and have always been impressed with the quality, dependability, and longevity of their jeans. I work as a Facility Manager and put each pair of jeans I wear to the test with the rigors my job entails. The only caveat is that my most recent order of the preferred 5-pocket, relaxed-fit, straight-leg jeans weren't offered in the color black anymore. Dickie's stopped offering the color black for some reason...or maybe I wasn't clicking in the right place(s) when ordering online. Nonetheless, they're really good jeans and reasonably priced too.

    Have been buying these for several years......I'm pretty easy on clothes so the last me a long time..... I do have one big complaint on these new ones..... The pocket entrance seems to have shrunk as it's really difficult to get my hand in the pocket compared to older pants...... It would also be nice if they increased the size of the zipper pull!

    The fabric and fit seem to have changed. They run smaller in waist and length and the denim feels much thinner. Dickies were my husband's favorite jean brand for work, but like other brands he has liked in the past the quality has changed. Time to search for another brand.

    Waist fits a touch looser than other brands of same size. Construction quality appears solid. 14 oz denim seems lighter than that, more like 12. Nice dark color that hasn't faded after a few washes.

    I bought several Relaxed fit 5-pocket denim jeans about a month ago. They are very well made and heavy duty denim, perhaps more so than I really needed. When I wear these out (if?) I'll most definitely buy some more but a bit lighter in weight.

    The DICKIES brand seems to have odd sizing. I bought some 30 x 32 jeans and couldn’t get in them if I jumped off my roof. So I bought some 32 x 32’s.... and they fit like a tent maker made them. Anyhow, DICKIES can have their tents back ;)

    Apparently there is no quality control in the Mexico sweatshop. The inseam on the right leg is actually cut down the front of the leg instead of on the inside of the leg where it belongs. Looks rather ridiculous. Of course, there's no returning them after washing!

    I have bought these jeans before and like them. They are well made and wear well. They also are well priced. The 2 new pair that I received were larger than previous in the waist. No problem, I just wear my Dickies belt and maybe I'll eat a few more donuts. One pair however was at least 2 inches longer than the other even though they were labeled the same. That is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

    my dickies did not come with 5 pockets. they came with the regular pockets. These are not traditional carpenter jeans. I didnt bother to send them back because it took forever for me to get them in the mail, and i didnt want to risk not having anything

    The quality of these jeans are very good and they look nice. The only problem is that they are bigger sized than other jeans of the same "size". They were bigger in the waist and at least an extra inch in length. I'll keep them and still wear them, but the size is an issue. For $22, I just don't feel like sending them back. Would probably order again, but will definitely go down in size if available.

    3 stars because these pants are way too baggy. I had purchased a size bigger from a previous pair that fit perfect and thought these would be just a hair bigger. Not at all, the pant leg is really wide. I figured they would shrink a bit and would be fine. The pant leg openings are so big that is step on the back of the pant leg all the time (with work boots on), so annoying. I don't understand how one size bigger would be so much different. Maybe it was just these that got by QC. I didn't have this problem with any of the other pants I ordered. Rest fit great but I don't even wear these anymore. Will probably donate. Will add pics later.

    this was my second order with dickies. I like the jeans. Good price. no frllls. Got a pair of duck jeans in different color. Didn't read close enough to see they were carpenter style. would like regular jeans in other color rather than blue.

    The watch pocket/coin pocket needs to have the lateral edge a little further lateral to make the pocket slightly larger. With the 20% discount that I got they are worth it. If I am unable to get future selections without the 20% discount, I doubt that I will purchase them.

    I have been losing weight due to illness. I previously purchased your product size 42. I enjoyed the jeans but they were loose in the waist. This pair I ordered 40. They will not stay on my waist. They slide down always. I guess I’ll need to buy suspenders. I hate them. Why are they so short waisted? Did I ordered the wrong ones?

    We ordered two pair of pants in the exact same size. One pair fit and the other was about five inches too long. Be wary of your purchase and consistency is lacking.
