It was a comfortable boot but after a couple weeks my boots began to smell like cat urine and I don’t have a cat. I was trying to figure out how a cat urinated in my boots. Since my boots were past the 30 days I ended throwing them away and bought a second pair. But after a month the same thing happened with the new boots. I asked bootbarn and they stated that the polyurethane in the insoles cab break down and release an ammonia smell. It would of been nice to know before hand. I was refunded for the second boots and got $105 for the first pair which cost $215. They couldn’t give me a full refund cause I couldn’t return the boots even though they were garbage and bootbarn was going to throw them away anyways.

My husband works out on the highway. He says boots are very comfortable, practical and safe for work. He loves them. This is his second pair of boots same brand different style. The first ones still look brand new, they really last and he wears them all the time. Worth buying them.

With Redwing stock hard to find, and the cancelation of the boot I have been wearing for years, I was on the lookout for a new boot. I found these, after reading reviews, I felt I may have found a good replacement. Boy was I wrong. These boots are terrible. The way they lace puts pressure in a weird spot on your foot, the souls feel like they are wood planks attached to the base and there is very little in the way of impact absorption. The worst part for me, though, was there was a major manufacturing defect in my pair. The left boot's safety toe was molded into the boot too low by almost a quarter of an inch! The result was constant contact on the top of my foot, it was terrible. When I went to return them, I had to wait forever because the on duty manager refused to come up front to assist the kind woman who was trying to help me. All and all, the boots were not good, the experience at boot barn was terrible, and I definitely did not find a replacement boot.

I made the mistake of putting these boots right to work and not being able to return them. i bought them when there were no reviews and thought i would give them a try. its a really cool looking boot and the fit is pretty good considering my size did not come in wide and had to get standard. the insole is very uncomfortable and my feet hurt 3 hours into my 12 hour day of being on my feet. I previously wore red wings and loved them other than the price and was looking for a more cost effective option. Unfortunately i will be going back to red wings. If you want to give them a try i would recommend following the guidelines so you are able to return them if you have the same results.

Only last about 6 months, if that. Probably my 4th pair. Easy to just go to the local boot barn in my small town and get a new pair. I'd rather pay more for a better quality but convenience is why I continue to buy them. I'm a lineman and work a lot of hours with little time off.
