Carhartt Women's Wildwood Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 284.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat, but you'll need more for severe cold weather I loved this coat. Mine was recently destroyed in a freak accident, but I plan to buy another one. I normally wear a medium in tops, and the medium fit me perfectly. It looks good on me, but is plenty spacious for movement and layering. I do dirty work for my job, and am outside a lot, and this was perfect. It's also very wind resistant. My only complaint is that, for me, this coat wasn't sufficient for lengthy times in temperatures around/under freezing. I typically wear a heavy long-sleeved technical top and a fleece jacket under it. I think for my next winter with one of these coats, I'll buy a thinner puffy jacket to layer under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When in Minnesota. . .where it's COLD thats an understatement. Had been eyeing this jacket for a couple months. Could not decide whether to buy a Women's fit or Men's(I own a couple mens hoodies that I love) , plus I am always hesitant to order online . Finally ordered it. Glad I chose this one because it is so comfortable and warm. I would not say that it 'runs large' , just that it's got room for movement everywhere; enough for a medium weight sweater underneath. Also has quiet a few pockets which is a nice feature and the sleeves are cuffed at the wrist which I love. Also the hood actually stays on and is also lined with the sherpa material. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not warm enough for cold winters. I live and work in chicagoland, often spending portions of my job outside. I have been wearing one of my husbands carhartts this winter because it is super toasty warm. Its very big on me so i decided to buy a womens coat for myself. I absolutely love the look and comfort of it but it does not keep me warm at all. Its been about 20° - 25° here and as soon as i step outside i am freezing immediately. Guess i have to save this coat for spring and fall. Its not a winter coat. I am actually super dissapointed about this. This coat could use an extra layer of lining to keep the heat in. I guess this winter i have to go back to wearing big ol hubbys coat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I wished. I like the jacket, but to tell you the truth it is not as well made as the jackets I have bought from Carhartt in years past. I also had the expectation it would be warmer because it was placed under the extreme cold category on the companies website. As a petite female dairy farmer, I really need clothes that will work hard and keep me warm in the cold weather. It is difficult to come by good workwear that fits well as a woman. I would like to suggest that Carhartt comes out with women's coats that are just as warm their menâ??s. There are a lot of hard working women out there and not all of them fit into the male line of workwear that Carhartt offers.
