Poor design
Don't put this on your dog if you're going to walk him, the moment he sees something he likes and tugs, the clasp will break because plastic is cheap. I owned this collar for all of an hour. I am disappointed in Carhartt and this design.

Expected better quality from Carhartt. We got this collar for our dog at Christmas and it lasted less then a week. We expected the durability other carhartt products but was extremely disappointed.

Do not trust this collar!
My dog has been using this collar for a couple of years. Was really happy with it and thought it would be a long-lasting collar until a few months ago. All of the sudden when my dog pulled it would snapped off setting her free. At first I thought it was our fault by not clipping the collar properly, but it has happened several times since then. There is no obvious visual defect/cracking on the snapping features so not sure what is causing that. This is a big deal as we sometimes use this as the primary hook up spot for the leash. Very dangerous dogs can snap free without much force when pulling. Will not buy again and definitely do not recommend, which is hard for me to say as I always had good experiences with Carhartt items, until now.
