    I’m a lineman for National Grid and work between 60-90hrs every week. I’m constantly on my feet and was looking for a boot that was comfortable but also safe for my work environment. Seeing these boots online they looked like they could get the job done but unfortunately once I got them I realized this was not the case. They looked slightly different in person. The fit was a bit bigger than I expected. On the first day I wore them we were off road in a muddy area and I realized these boots have zero traction. I was slipping and sliding and finding it hard to move around as I wanted to. They also weren’t very well insulated. It’s a shame I am really a devoted carharrt customer and the company is always very supportive. Unfortunately this product wasn’t the right fit to me and I plan on seeking options to return or find a better boot. I have only worn them once and have cleaned them. The boots have no damage.

    On writing this, about 10 days after first wear, my feet and ankles are still blistered and sore. They look good and perform well, but the breaking-in is killer.

    Wanted something lite, comfortable and durable. Never tried Carthartt shoes/boots before but figured I'd try them out. 100% satisfied. Very comfortable all day boot with typical Carthartt quality. Worth every cent.

    Only wore a couple of times since I got them, tongue is the only flaw so far, no loop to hold them from sliding toward the outside of my foot. Great room for your foot comfortable all day on your feet. Can't wait till they break in some and see how they last. I will update as time permits.

    ive researched over 1000 boots in 10 years this is my new favorite first thing i do is take out the insole who needs insole if you build a shoe right im a size 12 these offer plenty of space plenty of width nano composite is the most powerful keyword today in boot research nano comp is compliant and lighter these are a beautiful clean rugged colorway very lightweight ill measure the grams when i get home you really cant beat the polyester knit upper fabric i work at okc water plant with ple ty of pressure these are almost too dry because i like t get my feet wet. i spray ght at 86 psi for a minute before it gets to my feet. outsole is a little flat but does offer flexibility in its waffle shape kinda like the 200 miles i ran in those nike frees laces seem a little thin but hey its poly stuff is like paracord plenty strong lots of cush on the lace when u tighten it they have good arch support with or without the sole. if u ever get sand in these boots from the river you have to perform surgery cut the ankle at the achilles and open a hole then split the inner foot adhesive from the shoe flip it inside out and then blow all the sand with an air compressor. this shoes weakest link is how much freakin sand gets pcked in but its only 2 holes right at each side of the bottom of the tongue if carhartt will seal it and install a impermeable liner this shoe will win the stock market maybe also a dark grey colorway or as carhartt calls it "peat" would be gorgeous thanks

    This is a great boot so far , it feels really good throughout the day . Very comfortable and has a great insert , in desert gets little hot and these boots do have some breathability on the upper . Overall a great looking boot and so far the design the construction seem to be very well made ... Surprised at how well actually.
