    Quality seems nice, but haven’t been able to wear it do to the permanent dent on the top of the crown of the hat. Have been trying to fix it, but it’s in wearable.

    Usually I like everything I get from carhartt but the hat is just a little to big even when I adjust it to my size. Maybe my heads too small but usually I don’t have this problem

    Love this hat. It was a bit too big, but all flat brim hats are too big for my small head. The durability of the fabric and the more boxy look are two of the things that I really liked about this cap. The only thing I didn't like was that the sweat band was pretty thin and the cloth were it was sewn together was easily felt through the band. And it made it feel bad on my forehead. So I had to sew an extra band on it. But even with all that I still Love this cap. It was also my very first Carhartt item, it will not be my last.

    This hat looks nice but is basically a 10 gallon "bro" version of a cowboy hat. I'm a big dude with a big head. This hat went half way down my ears when I put it on. First product from carhartt I was genuinely unimpressed by.

    Great look! Fits well. Only issue is the front "forehead" panel is a bit tall and boxy if that makes sense. Also on tighter sizes, the fabric piece above the adjustment strap sticks out a little goofy. Overall though, I haven't taken it off since I got it.

    I love this hat but let me explain the rating. I’ve had this hat since it was called the Ashland hat. Very disappointed that they refused to bring back the navy blue. Shame.

    I actually got these as a Christmas gift for my other half and he loves them and gets a ton of compliments!!! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and thankfully he couldn’t be happier with his gift!!

    I like the hat a lot. Carhartts quality is unmatched! The upper is a little higher than I prefer. It makes me look like Elmer Fudd. The fact that I'm short doesn't help either. Lol!

    Not enough head clearance. Though it has structure it will still sit against your scalp. Caps these days are made for bowling ball heads. It's not made in the US.

    I thought this would fit like a normal hat.... but This hat is way too deep. For reference think of the 59fifty hats and go a little deeper. I expected it to fit a little deep based on the pics, kind of like a classic trucker style but this went passed that into the X-Games podium style hat.

    Bought a black one for my husband at our local work store, he loves it, and couldn't be happier, since he has a big head it fits and looks perfect on him. Its hard for him to find a hat that he likes hes very picky! This hat is the perfect price and he can get it as dirty as he wants and I could always purchase him more! He seen that there was the blue and grey and of course he wanted them which I don't mind getting for him. Thank You Carhartt for always providing my hard working husband with your awesome gear!!!

    I love the look, I love the durability; my only gripe is that the construction of the hat is such that the seam at the back of the bill of the hat digs into my forehead a little bit if I wear it for several hours (which I almost always do).

I have a SUPER large head, and even with this hat being "bigger than other's", I still can only comfortably wear it on the last snap. (this is only reason I did not give 5 overall stars) otherwise , VERY good quality hat that I would suggest for anyone without a freakishly large head..(like myself)

    Fits really small. I can’t wear it actually. The color is off it’s like an orange brown. I wear the pants every day for work and the hat just looks bad with any other color they have. It’s not like I have a weird shaped head I have plenty of other hats that fit great

    Love this hat, but the sweat liner is way too flimsy and doesn't hold up. Sucks, but I can't say I won't buy again,it just isn't going to make it long like their clothing

    I have owned many different brand caps, but Ashland cap is by far the most perfect cap I have ever owned. It is stylish and has a great quality. I love it.

    Used to be great but since the new ones are made in Bangladesh the quality has dropped. I've had 5 over the years and they've been fantastic. Now it seems they're using cheaper materials inside and doesn't fit properly (digs into forehead). The old version manufactured in China was muuuuch better in both fit and internal materials.

    I really like the style of the hat, it's made from what seems like the same duck material the pants are made of. My problem with it is the size. I should've read the other reviews before ordering it. The tall boxy fit absolutely dwarfs my size 7 head. I wish they made it in a small and a large, labeling the current version a "large" and making a version for those of us with smaller heads and calling it a "small" are you listening Carhartt?

    This hat was great, until it wasn't. I can't even begin to tell you how this happened but I've never owned a hat that has done this until today. Sorely disappointed in the quality from a brand as reliable as Carhartt. I'm hesitant to make further purchases as I depend on my money not being wasted on poor quality. Purchased in early May and in two months it's trash.
