INVISTA's patented TECGEN® fiber was developed with next-generation flame resistance technology for protective clothing. The fiber is used in two primary garment lines, marketed under the TECGEN SELECT® and TECGEN XTREME® brands. TECGEN SELECT® branded apparel is certified by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) for arc flash (NFPA 70E) and flash fire (NFPA 2112) resistant clothing, and is used primarily in manufacturing, transportation, mining, oil and gas, and energy utility operations. TECGEN XTREME® branded apparel is NFPA/UL certified, lightweight apparel that repels moisture; it's designed for firefighters for wildland and technical rescue applications.
