    I purchased both the bomber brown and the black in this style. The brown has an incredibly comfortable snug fit. The black, for some reason, runs a bit larger and is a bit looser.

    I've always admired the distressed leather working cowboy(girl)boot I've been wearing mine nearly everyday now for a year and love them every time I put them on. I've just ordered another pair in red because I've always wanted red boots and it breaks out of my conservative mold. I know they will wear and fit as wonderfully as my old pair. I think if the spur shelf was just a tad larger they would be even better. The only thing that makes a good boot great is spurs!

    Gorgeous boots - glove leather soft, but they are cut on the narrow side. Even going up one half size, they were snug over the instep. I wish this boot came in a wider width - that might solve the problem. If you plan to purchase this gorgeous boot, consider going up at least one half size.

    I normally wear cowboy boots only when I visit my mom's cattle ranch. These boots, however, I've worn out in the city. I love them. I've had a pair of Ariat shoes with laces for years that are very comfortable and look sort of "oxford-like". The boots are the same -- with the same appeal, quality and comfort. The more you wear them the better they look. Receive at least one complement every time I wear them. You need both hands to remove.

    I have a hard to fit size,11N, and I ordered these boots on line hoping that they would fit me. I was very happy the first time that I tried them on. I recommend these boots to all that want a very comfortable great looking cowboy boot. I plan on buying them in black as well. Love these boots!!

    I wanted a pair of western boots to wear with skirts.........I am not a rider. I found these boots in Distressed Brown and immediately fell in love with them. I like how the toe is not too pointed but not too rounded either. They are incredibly comfortable and look fabulous with above the knee skirts. I loved them so much, and recieved so many compliments whenever I wore them, that I went back for a black pair. While trying on the black boots I also saw them in red. I ended up buying both the black and red boots and now I have 3 pairs of boots.....all the same style and oh-so comfortable. I look so good when I wear them!

    I bought this boot 2 weeks ago now and I'm so glad I did, First of all I seen this boot in store so before I jumped on it I signed up for the rewards program and my hubby made his first purchase and I racked up some rewards points for my pair, they also give you 15% off right off the bat for signing up which my hubby used and I took the online survey for another $5.00 off. I went online to read the reviews before heading back to the store and noticed that they were cheaper online. The very first thing I asked is if they would price match and of course they did so in store they were $188 online $140 and some change so they did it with no hesitation. I also had my rewards and survey so after all said and done I paid $120 and some change. I tried on the size 8 my normal size and they fit great but the sales person advised me to try a size down because they stretch out quite a bit. I took the 71/2's home a bit hesitant but wore them around the house for 2 days to try and break them in so it gave me a chance to return them if needed. They wouldn't budge so I took them back in and the same friendly sales rep put them on the boot stretchers for me overnight and I came back in the next day to give them a shot and viola perfect!! They still fit a lil snug but after the stretching I wore them around town and they fit just like a glove. I'm so glad I listened to her recommendation because I would have ended up with the 8's stretched out and too big. The calves on these are big but I have really small calves and it doesn't bother me at all I'm used to having that issue and these are so comfortable its so worth having the extra space in the calf area. Yay to my forever boots!

    I from so cal so i never see people wearing cowboy boots but that just makes me stand out even more! i went to a boot barn store and bought these since these were my first pair. Im usually a 9 to 9 1/2 however the 8 1/2 fit me great. However if you wear thick socks i would say stay true to size and dont size down. In store i also tried the wide and regular width and i went with the regular, however again if you wear thick socks maybe you should get the wide width. It also didnt take very long to break in- just 2 weeks! I bought these in Russet Rebel and i would recommend buying a leather conditioner to keep them shiny. These boots are very different from what everyone wears here but i love them and rock them all the time!

    I own 5 pair of Ariat boots...they are the best. I had tendon repair surgery on my left foot two years ago and with the combination of a high arch and a fairly narrow foot, finding boots can be a real challenge. These boots are stylish, extremely comfortable, and allow me to be on my feet all day without any problem or fatigue. There was absolutely no "break-in" required; they were wonderful from day one. I won't buy any other brand!

    I’ve had these boots for a little over 5 years and they are STILL in excellent shape. They’re perfect for riding and I wear them pretty much everyday. They’ve been through the ringer but are still comfortable and look great. When these boots eventually start to break there’s no doubt I will rebuy this exact pair, definitely worth the money

    I'm a teacher and I'm really into comfortable shoes. This is my first pair of cowboy boots and I am amazed how comfortable they are. I would wear them everyday if I could. They are my most comfortable pair of shoes, fit like they were made for me and are cozy this winter. I feel so stylish when I wear them. I will always have a pair of Ariats in my closet from now on. LOVE THEM! My feet are very narrow, so trying on several pairs in Bootbarn was helpful to find the perfect fit. I bought a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear.

    This boot slips on and hugs my foot; with its good arch support I can wear them 10 hours a day and not get blisters. They are attractive, easy to maintain with leather cleaner, and have worn well. This boot looks good under a skirt as well as in the saddle. It doesn’t matter your ability to ride or not these boots work for everyday wear. My advice is to get them in more then one color. Nice boots for the price.

    I bought these over a year ago and they are absolutely amazing. They are extremely comfortable, well made, and the deertan leather they are made of is soft and flexable and they dont even need to be broken in. They are inexpensive for what you get and I highly recommend them!

    These boots look better in person than in the photo. In particular, the stitching on on the shaft is a denim blue color, which makes them look great with jeans. The leather is really soft and the fit is very comfortable, even with thick socks. I wear a 10 and bought my regular size. You can't go wrong with these!!

I sent them back for a half size larger and haven't yet recieved the new ones. I expect all to be fine with a half size larger.

    These are my first pair of Ariats and I can definitely tell they are quality boots. They look great and provide good support and traction. They were hard to get into at first but once they get broken in I'm sure that it won't be a problem.

    My daughter attends Thacher School, where all the students learn to ride Western and are responsible for the daily careof their horse. Herfirstpairof Ariat boots haveheld up incredibly well,but her feet grew soshe called home and specifically asked for another pair of Ariat boots. She wears them daily and is therefore very glad that they are both comforatble and durable -- as well as good looking! She loves her Ariat boots and will probably be an Ariat devotee for life!

I have problems with my feet, but I have worn them several times for the entire day and my feet were not hurting at the end of the day.     These were the first western boots I ever owned. I bought them over 4 years ago and wear them all the time. I've walked through fire in them, I wear them when its raining so I don't get my other shoes wet, and I just abuse them in general. Yet somehow they are still in great condition and still very comfortable! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, durable boot that doesn't cost too much.

    Had to return these boots tho it broke my heart..the right one came with 2 marks on it, looked like from a marker pen. The fit was great AND the price.Seemed like good quality too. I had to order online since my size wasn't in the store. Wish the worker pulling the item could have checked them out before shipping. I needed them for that weekend but I may still stop in at the store when they restock, I really liked the style of them.

    It took a few days of wearing before the leather by my ankles and calves softened. I purchased my size (6.5) in the wide width and the boots fit great. I purchased the russet red and it's a rich brown color, not "red" in my opinin. The boots lenghten my leg with their small heal. The heal is very subtle and can still be worn all day. I am not a "cowgirl," actually, I live in LA and have no clue why I suddenly wanted cowboy boots. I asked for them for my birthday and now every time I wear them, I get compliments. I guess my 6th sense told me that these are "in" again. I love wearing them with dresses, leggings, jeans tucked in or not tucked in (although you need some serious boot cut jeans to get them around and over the top of the boots). These are multipurpose and multifunctional and I just love them. :) They are fun, yet still professional. I hope they last through my entire life!

    I bought the brown ones a year ago for riding. I use them practically every day to go to the barn, but end up keeping them on the majority of the day as they are very comfy AND look good. They fit perfectly, your foot "clicks" in to them like cowboy boots should fit, but are THE most comfortable boots I have. I've gotten them wet, covered with mud/poo/shavings, and the more worn they get the better they look. My 13 year old wears mine for riding, too, so I am ordering another pair just for me. I am not sure if the leather on the other colors fits as well as the brown. You would need to check it out. Downside is, I wouldn't necessarily consider them stylish enough to wear in the evening. However, they are fantastic for riding and for a daytime boot. Buy a wooden boot tree with them to help them hold their shape.

    I LOVE these boots. I went to Boot Barn to try boots on and fell in love with these. I was surprised to find boots that were true to size and so comfortable. I decided to order them online because they were cheaper than in the store. I love the deep scallop. I have big calves so sometimes finding a boot that fits well can be difficult. They also make my legs look long and lean :) I think the fact that they are so comfortable is my favorite feature! I can wear them all night and my feet don't hurt at all!

    These boots are amazing. My old boyfriend bought them for me for my birthday. I've had them almost two years now and they still look almost new after a clean/polish with Saddle Soap. I ride horses, muck stalls, work with motorcycles, run through puddles and mud, and wear them off-roading but I also wear them to work/school every day and can two-step in them perfectly. I even wear them to airports and they are a breeze to pull on and take off. They broke in after a few weeks and are now perfectly formed to my feet, ankles and legs. They only look better with age too, and the stitching and dye has held up very well. Only a few minor spots, and one popped stitch. Probably the best $200 my ex ever spent! Haha. I'm considering buying a second pair cause it may take so long for these ones to give up on me that they might not even exist anymore. I've never regretted my choice with these boots.

    The most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I wear 9W in shoes and need arch support for bone-to-bone knee issues. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfectly. I wore these all day without my knee brace and was shocked at how good they felt. No back pain, no knee pain for this osteoarthritis grandma. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the way the leather looks against the bottom. A little wavy, like they were made in a rush. I’m hopeful that will smooth out after more wearing in. But the low price reflects that too.

    I am a 9.5B- this boot is about a AA but is too long for a 9.5! It is a stunning boot- the leather is so soft and the stitching is neat, but I have had to send it off to be stretched as I can't even get my foot into it. It's not worth buying a size bigger as it is very long- maybe if your foot is wider than an A/B consider the mens size.

    I needed boots to work on the ranch in and for riding horses. After some thought, I decided on these boots. Due to 2 surgeries on my foot, my left foot swells really easy, so when I first put these on I was afraid the snug fit, BUT these boots wore in in about a week and now I LOVE wearing them. They are super comfy and cute. I would definitly recommend these to people!

    Writing this review specific to the new wide calf sizing for anyone wondering! They are beautiful boots and the wide calf is amazing! At varying weights, I've always had wide calves - currently prob 18-18.5" circumference. These fit great on me up and around jeans with even some extra room so it doesn't look like sausage casing on my legs. So glad wrist extended their sizing! Can't wait to wear these out! Shipping was super fast too.

    I've had this pair of boots for about 3 years now. I couldn't be more happy with them, especially for the price! I am almost strictly a square toe person, both for looks and comfort, but I've been happily surprised with how comfortable (and pretty!) these are. I wear between a 7 and 7 1/2 depending on brand, I purchased these in a 7 and they fit perfectly snug, as they should be. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable pair of boots!

I wasn’t sure I’d be so lucky as to find Ariat still making this particular boot once it became time to replace my original pair. But here we are. Thank you, Ariat!     received these 3 days ago. bought the hombre red. It is more of a brown with a little red hue. toe is very tight. i always by a "B" width in my Ariat boots but find these almost too tight to wear.. Would not recommend if you have a slightly wide foot. narrower than most "B". I may have to return

    Not a good as prior pair. I know boots need to be broken in, but these are way too tight across the tops of my feet. The soles aren’t as cushioned as my prior pair and the shaft of the boot is much wider, although I didn’t order wides, so it looks stupid pushing against the bottom of my jeans. Just a weird fit all the way around. Disappointed!

    These boots were exatcly what I was looking for. I can wear them on a daily basis and they still hold up great. I bought them to wear for my wedding next summer and they will definitely hold up well enough that I can do that. This product is well made and they fit beautifully. : )

    bought these boots for my 81 yr old grandfather. he was completly impressed with the genuine calfskin lining and complemented on how amazing they felt and how easily his foot slid into the boot. he was impressed how they looked like the original cowboy boots but the bison leather would last him for many many years.

    Bought these boots initially to work in, but turned into a casual boot. Sturdy, hold up well, easy to clean, scuffs come out easily! Absolutely in love with them!

    Disappointed that the color looked darker in the picture, but in reality the color was about two shades lighter than I had expected.

    This is an extremely comfortable boot. Has a nice orthotic type insert for cushioning and support. And good value for the price. I wanted red cowgirl boots but these are too bright and smooth looking; they look almost like vinyl rain boots. Perhaps if worn in and scuffed they would look good, but out of the box, too red, too bright, too smooth. Styling might work for a black or brown boot but not red. Sadly, these went back. Decided to upgrade and buy worn-in looking Old Gringo Reno boots in red instead.

    I love them. They are even better in person. My only complaint is that they run a tad bigger than I thought they would. An 8 usually fits great, but these feel more like an 8.5. I'm still keeping them though. I adore the color and design.

    I absolutely love these boots. However, I just noticed that on one of the heels the glue/gloss is peeling off. I have worn these boots maybe 5 times. For the price of these boots, they should be better quality. Very disappointed.

    I promised myself a pair of cowboy boots and went to buy them in my local Boot Barn. The salesman was extremely helpful and I chose these boots in the distressed brown. Not only are they very comfortable, they are stylish, easy to get on and off, not too high, and I like the rounded toe. I loved them so much I went back and bought them in black and in red. I get loads of compliments every time I wear them. I would definitely buy them again and would recommend them to anyone wanting a stylish and comfortable boot. The brown ones are my favorite and the black ones are a little more 'formal'. The red ones are just plain ole fun!

    I got my first pair in 2012 and still have them today. They are very durable and comfortable for all day wear. If you ride horses I couldn't recommend a better boot then this one.

    I ordered these for my daughter who was turning 17. These are her first cowgirl boots. Since I wanted them to be a surprise, I studied my options, picked these out, and crossed my fingers. She loves them, and they look so cute with dresses, shorts, jeans, etc. The color goes with everything. They are slightly distressed and run true to size. Highly recommended!

    love the color and comfort of this boot. I ordered my regular size and they are a hair too big, but I worried if I ordered a half size down, they would be hard to slip on and they would be to snag in the toe area, with the boot being pointy. I wear them with thicker socks and they are great.

    I picked them out on line but went to the store to try them on. Perfect fit. The salesperson was very helpful and she also had a pair of the same boots. She said she'd had hers for 10 years and never re-soled. They are so comfortable!

    These boots are more comfortable than my sneakers! I absolutely LOVE them and I get many compliments. I've never gotten any blisters and from the first day that I wore them they fit like my old worn in boots. I definitely recommend them.

    My first pair of western boots and they are amazing. I wear them when running errands or when going out to the bar & dancing. Well worth the price, will be buying Ariat products from Boot Barn again.

    I absolutely love these. I have owned two pairs of Ariat boots, and I love them all. I have done almost everything you can possibly do in these boots. I have walked for hours, hiked, stomped in the mud, and dunked them in puddles. I couldn't be more impressed. I don't do things like that every day, but I wear them pretty much every day. At first, like most cowboy boots, they were stiff and almost caused a few blisters, but within a couple of weeks they were comfortable. I have never owned a pair of shoes this comfortable. To sum all this up in a few words, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

    I bought these boots ten years ago and they have truly survived the test of time. These are by far my favorite pair, though I admit they are a little bit more weathered than they were the day I bought them. Despite their age, they are still complete and intact -- sole, stitching and all. These boots have done it all, from bottle feeding calves & working my horse, to partying the night away. A hardy little boot that's incredibly comfortable -- and adorable.

    Did not hold up...Boots look terrible.

    These boots did not hold up to 5 wears. They look worn out and old. Maybe good for being trendy but not for what a boot is made for. I would NOT buy another pair for the barn. I have purchased Ariat boots for years, English and western and these are not well made. Cheap boots. Definitely would not recommend these boots.
