I just got a pair of these shoes in the mail, and they fit great, they look great, and they're breaking in quickly (I've officially worn them for 2 days so far and they're already forming to my feet). I've got big feet (US 12, wider than most), and a bad ingrown toenail, and these boots fit perfectly and comfortably.

These are my first pair of steel-toed shoes, and all of my fears of them being overly heavy or hurting my sore toe were completely laid to rest as soon as I put them on.

They are heavier than most "normal" boots, but it's because they have a nice thick sole and, of course, the steel toe. They're also well padded (something that I found lacking in the last pair of Doc's I had, 8-eye greasy "fashion" boots), and, like I said, very comfortable.

I can't speak about the quality of the steel toe; I haven't yet dropped anything heavy on them yet :) I have bumped my toes a few times wearing these boots (including my sore toe), and the steel has kept me free of clumsiness-induced pain.

Bottom line: I love these boots, and I look forward to seeing how they wear over the years (I wore out my last pair of Doc's in less than 3 years, but these seem made to take the kind of abuse I put shoes though). So far they're worth the money.

Needed a good work boot with a steel toe. Tried many types of boots to see what they would be like after a full day on my feet. These boots were the first pair I tried on. After five other brands I tried these were the best fit and had the comfort and support I needed.
