Returns & Exchanges

 

We understand that sometimes returns and exchanges are necessary. We want to make sure we process your return or exchange in a timely manner. Please follow the instructions below.

 

Return/Exchange Policy

 

  1. IMPORTANT: Product must not show any evidence of wear and must be returned with all its original tags. Product showing any sign of wear or alteration (e.g. dirty or washed) will be returned to the customer. To ensure that your boots don't show any signs of wear, be sure to walk only in carpeted areas until you are sure they fit properly. Avoid any kind of hard flooring as it may scuff the soles of the boots.
  2. Items must be returned within 60 days of date received.
  3. Print and complete our Return/Exchange form.
  4. Returns or Exchanges lacking a Return/Exchange form will not be accepted by our return department and will be returned to the customer.
  5. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and exchanges may incur additional shipping charges. The shipping carrier you choose to return your package is your choice. Yet, we recommend you send back your package through a carrier such as UPS or FedEx that allows you to track your returning package.
  6. Make sure the product is in its original packaging, (e.g. boot box), and place it in its original shipping box or original bootbarn.com shipping bag. Boot boxes may not be returned with tape or any other shipping labels on them, doing so will result in a restocking fee.
  7. From the time your item has been received in our warehouse, please allow 3 business days for your return or exchange to be processed. As soon as your return or exchange is received and processed you will receive an email confirmation.
  8. If purchased from a store/event we can only refund (not exchange) for original form of payment with original sales receipt.  Cash will be refunded with a check.  We apologize for any inconvenience. Returns received without a receipt will be returned to the customer.
  9. If you purchased online and want to return it in a store, you may do so for an exchange or store-credit only.

 

Don't know your order number

 

If you do not know your order number, simply email custserv@bootbarn.com with your full name, address and the style number(s) of the products you ordered. Once we receive your email, we will reply with a copy of your order confirmation, which will have your order number. Please allow up to 1 business day for a response.

Make sure you complete this form when sending your product to our warehouse.

 

Note: All returns must be shipped back to our Irvine, CA returns warehouse (15776 Laguna Canyon Road, Irvine, CA. 92618), regardless of where your original order shipped from.

 



 

FREE shipping on footwear exchanges

 

We are committed to fitting you right! If you return an item in exchange for another product, we will ship the new product to you free of charge.

 

The Rules:

 

  • Free exchange shipping is our UPS Ground service and is valid for the new items being shipped to you (this doesn't cover shipping your return to our warehouse). APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii Puerto Rico and International will incur an additional shipping charge.
  • Product must not show evidence of wear. Try them on indoors on carpet and avoid hard surfaces that may scuff the sole. Boots showing any type of wear, will be sent back to the customer.
  • Return/Exchange form must be included (returns or exchanges lacking this form will be returned to the customer).

 

 

 

 

Returns & Exchanges FAQ

 

How will I know when Bootbarn.com receives my return or exchange package?

 

As soon as we receive and process your return or exchange we will email you a confirmation to the email address you provided on your original order. Note, if there is a refund due, this refund will be noted in your email confirmation and typically shows up on your credit card account within 2-5 business days (depending on your credit card) or by your next credit card statement. If you have requested an exchange, you will receive two email confirmations, one confirming that we received your original order and another email noting your new replacement order number.

 

Can you track my return?

 

We cannot track your return for you if you did not send it via a track-able service such as UPS or FedEx. If you sent your return back to us with a track-able service, you may contact us and we will happily track your package to see if it has been received by our returns warehouse.

 

What is a good guideline when I should expect to receive an email confirmation that my return package has been accepted and processed?

 

Allow 1-3 weeks for your return or exchange to be processed. This takes in consideration the transit time of the return package back to us, a full warehouse inspection of the returned item(s) and credit processing of your return paperwork. As soon as your return or exchange is processed you will receive an email confirmation.
