Panhandle Western Wear is a division of Westmoor Mfg. Co., founded in 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by brothers Martin and Ernest Hochster. In 1975, the headquarters moved to Fort Worth, Texas where it has remained since. The family-owned company, now in its third generation, continues to be a major force in the western apparel industry. Today, Westmoor Mfg Co. owns and distributes six major premium clothing brands: Panhandle Western Wear , Rough Stock, 90 Proof, Powder River, Ladies Rock and Roll Denim, and Men's Rock and Roll Denim.
