Chippewa Boots® developed the Logger boot for the Lumberjacks of the great upper Midwest back in 1901. Today these styles are not only worn by the logging industry but by men that perceive this silhouette to be the ultimate in a rugged outdoor wear. These 8" nubuc steel toe loggers and insulated with 400 Grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra - a lightweight, breathable, and moisture-resistant insulation. Slightly thicker and loftier than regular Thinsulate™, Thinsulate™ Ultra provides greater warmth and comfort, yet it's still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement. Lugs on the Vibram® Logger sole are angled to provide substantial edging capabilities. The center medallion of traditional carrarmato lugs provides maximum traction.
