International Shipping Policy and Terms:
When placing an International order you will accept and agree to Boot Barn’s International Orders Policy and Terms.  By doing so, you will agree and expect to pay a local customs fee at the time of delivery.  You (as the customer) understand that all packages shipping outside the U.S. are subject to local government customs/tariffs/taxes/duties and other related government fees as deemed necessary by the shipping destinations government.  These fees are assessed, controlled, and retained by the local government.  None of these fees are passed onto Boot Barn.  You (as the customer) agree to pay any and all such fees that the shipping destination’s government deems necessary.  These fees are always changing; only your local customs office can estimate what any or all such fees will be in advance to placing your order. Fees generally are 25% the value of your order, but these vary by country and can be much lower or much higher.

If you (as the customer) do not accept the package upon delivery, and the package requires that it be returned to Boot Barn, you (as the customer) will accept all shipping fees to and from your shipping destination. 

 **Boot Barn will try to ship your order as soon as possible.  We cannot guarantee shipping times.  Please make sure your email address is correct.  If we have any questions or need to verify information with you we will email you within 1-2 business days.  Boot Barn will also email you a shipment tracking number as soon as your order departs our warehouse (usually 2-4 business days after your order has been placed.  Then estimate 2-3 business days transit time to your shipping destination.

Frequently Asked Shipping Questions

1.  Where do you ship your items from?
Most of our items are shipped direct from our manufacturer partners' warehouses located throughout the United States.  This allows us to offer you a wide selection of product at great prices.  But, we also carry many boots and styles at our own warehouse as well.  When we receive your order we will check availability at our warehouse and our manufacturer partner and determine which location can get the product to you the fastest.  On a multiple item order, you may receive items separately in different packages at different times.  This is due to your items being shipped from different locations.  
2.  Is the item that I'm Ordering in Stock?
Almost all of our items are in stock.  In some occasions there may be an item that is on back order or that has just been discontinued by the manufacturer.  If this is the case we will notify you within 24 hours via email.  If your order is on back order, you may continue to choose to keep the order.  If you choose to keep your order on backorder we will charge your account to keep your order in place and your order will ship as soon as the item is back in stock.  Or, if you would like you certainly may cancel your order for a full refund.   If you have any questions regarding if the item you are ordering is in stock, please call us at 1.888.440.2668. 
3.  When do I get my order?
UPS Express and Expedite Service Orders
    If you specified UPS Express or Expedite service, remember, this counts transit time only.  Most UPS Express and Expedite service orders are processed and shipped out to you within 1 to 3 business days (this does not include the weekends or holidays).  This takes into consideration the time to process the order, verify availability and verify credit information.  It also allows for a day or two for our warehouses to prepare, pack and ship out the order.  Then, allow about two or three business days transit time for UPS takes to deliver your order.   The majority of  UPS Express Orders are delivered between 4-8 business days.  The majority of UPS Expedite orders are delivered between 3-6 business days.

UPS Ground Orders
    UPS Ground orders are processed in 1-7 business days.   This takes into consideration the time to processes the order, verify availability and verify credit information.  Then allow on average between 1 to 8 business days for transit time for your order to be delivered.  The majority of UPS Ground Service orders are delivered between 4 to 15 business days.  Remember, this is the best and most economical choice to choose if you don't mind the extra wait!

4.  What Does Express and Expedite UPS Service Mean?
If you select Express Shipping or Expedite Shipping for an order you place with BootBarn.com, we estimate that your order will take 1-3 day business days to be processed and released to be shipped out to you.  This takes credit verification and item availability into consideration.  After which, we will then be able to release and ship out your order.

Please also keep in mind that there is no weekend pickup or delivery for UPS shipping options.  If you order an item that is in stock and immediately available and you select Expedite shipping, the item will usually ship within 24-72 hours.  So it is possible that if you order Thursday morning via UPS Expedite Shipping, your order may not get completely processed and shipped out to you the until Monday evening.    In such a case, your order would usually be delivered on the following Wednesday or Thursday.
5.  How can I track my package?  Where is "My Order"?

If you have received a shipping confirmation and tracking #, you may track your order in transit at:

Currently only on those items that are shipped from our California warehouse will we be able to email you a confirmation shipping email with a UPS tracking #.  If the item was shipped from one of our manufacturer partner's warehouses we will not be able to send you a shipping confirmation email.  

If the average time to receive your order has expired and you would like to receive a status update on your order.  Please do the following:

1.  Email CustServ@BootBarn.com 
2.  In your email please include your five digit order receipt or confirmation number.  This usually starts with a eight, nine, ten or eleven.
3.  Also, include in your email what item you are inquiring about.  Please include the style # and the item's Brand.  For example, Ariat style #15725.

Not providing the above information, may delay your status request.  Then please allow 2-4 days for an email response back from us.  This will allow us to research your request, contact the appropriate warehouse(s) and locate the appropriate tracking information for your order.  

Currently, you can not view the status of your order by logging into your account.

Order Exceptions:

Boot Orders 
We will notify you immediately via email if any item on your order is currently unavailable or out of stock.  If an item on your order is out of stock we will provide you with an estimated date when the item will ship out to you.  Note, the order will remain active unless you inform us that you do not want to wait and would like cancel the order.  

If you would like to cancel the item on back order please reply to our email or email CustServ@BootBarn.com with the subject line titled "Cancel Backorder Order #        ".  
Be sure to include your order # and the item that you are canceling.

If a boot has been discontinued from a manufacturer partner and we can no longer get hold of the item, we will notify you immediately via email and apply a full refund to your account.  

Hat Orders  

Are generally are shipped out within 2 to 5 business days.  Most of our hats ship straight from our warehouse.  Yet, some hat orders may require a special make up order.  This is due to many hats not being available "in stock" from the manufacturer.  If this is the case we will immediately contact you via email.  Note, special order hats require may increase the time it takes to ship the hat from up to 2-6 weeks. Note, Hats can not be ordered via UPS Express and Expedite Services.  Hats can only be shipped in the Continental US by Ground.

Out of Stock Items:
Most products are shipped direct to you from our manufacturer partners located throughout the United States. In the event a particular size or style is out of stock we will attempt to ship it directly from our Boot Barn warehouse in California. If we do not have the item in stock, we will notify you of the back-order immediately via email and let you know when we expect the style and size to be back in stock. We will allow you the option to keep the order active to ship as soon as the product comes in, or to cancel the order.

Shipping Cost Determination:

How do you determine shipping costs? 
To offer our customers the best selection and the best prices, it does take a little bit longer to receive your package, but we believe it is well worth the slight wait.

Boots are anything but slight weight.  Our Shipping costs reflect on average what it costs us to ship a pair of boots to you.  Remember boots completely packaged are heavy items (usually between 5 1/2 - 8 lbs).

If an item is less weight than this average (such as boot conditioners, boot trees, shoes and kid boots) we have marked down the price of these items accordingly to make up for the shipping charge.  We are committed to everyday fair, low value prices.


A current trend for most shopping sites is to have 50% sales and/or to offer free shipping, while increasing regular, everyday prices.   Go ahead and compare!  We believe that often this means "hiding" costs from customers.  We believe customers would rather see all true costs upfront.
