Today these styles are not only worn by the logging industry but by men that perceive this silhouette to be the ultimate in a rugged outdoor wear. The exclusive Vibram compound provides maximum traction on wet/dry surfaces and various terrain. Every lug incorporated in this design has been strategically placed for braking, kick off, traction, stability and slip resistance. Product Reviews
Chippewa Men's Steel Toe Logger Work Boots is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots I've had these boots for a year and a half and they have been by far the best steel toe boots I have ever owned. I've owned several different pairs of other brands of boots that have been more expensive but they do not compare in anyway. The loggers are by far the comfiest, most durable, and well constructed boots. They have taken the place of my hiking boots and almost every other pair of shoes I own, because of how comfortable they are, they are very light compared to other boots. When I clean and oil them they almost look brand new. From walking on concrete and rebar to hiking in the bush they have great traction and I would purchase another pair in an instant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots Ever I purchased a pair of Chippewa Boots about 5 years ago and have worn them for work every day of the week since then. They finally gave out, and I purchased a second pair just days ago. Can't wait! I was in the military USMC for 20 years and I know boots! You cannot get more of your money's worth out of a pair of work boots then Chippewa Boots!!!!! Keep up the quality and you will have a customer for life!!! Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Marginal I'd like to give this a 2.5. There are 3 reasons why. 1) There is absolutely not arch support whatsoever - get your own insole. 2) Couple that with ZERO ankle support - there is nothing going on whatsoever for the ankle, it is completely flimsy. 3) The heel is annoyingly tall, and couple that with no angle support, it is super easy to roll your ankle. I need a nasty rugged boot for stomping around the desert and mountains, not trail hiking. Just nasty exploring. These are ok, but I can't recommend them and won't buy them again. But they are TUFF!! That is why they get the 3rd star. I have shown these boots zero mercy, kicking rocks and just going completely bonkers in them. I have yet to destroy them. Note that this is a Chinese made Chippewa and the size runs similar to what you would wear in an Adidas / Nike running shoe. American made Chippewas run HUGE. These do not. I bought mine at the Boot Barn in Lancaster, California.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought a pair of logger boots 6 months ago and I've already wore them out. Not waterproof anymore the souls are starting to rip from the stitches an there all cracked after I've oiled them twice.
