Product Features & Description
These engineer style boots by Chippewa are made to handle even the toughest jobs. The steel safety toe cap meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact and compression, keeping your feet safe on the job. The leather lining and the Texon insole work together to keep your feet comfortable under all conditions. The black Chippewa #475 Nitrile sole has a flat surface for better surface contact, and is made with a heavy duty nitrile/rubber compound. This sole is very durable and can be used in just about any application. From day one, Chippewa's mission was to manufacture the finest boots and shoes in the United States. Over 100 years later, Chippewa is still standing up to their mission.

This is a very ...
This is a very comfortable boot that fits true to size. The confortable fit is what I like most about this boot. The sole is flexible and is a nice thickness...not too thick like a Doc Martin. The only negative is that I can feel the steel toe box with my toes but this is common for steel toed shoes I have owned. I think steel toes tend to slightly cramp a boot's toe area. These boots have a great style that look great on the motorcycle but I wear them whether I'm riding or not. Great boot Chippewa!

Indestructible Pair of Boots
I've had a pair of these for about a decade that I use for motorcycling. Excellent, well made product that you will probably never wear out. They're about the best protection you could have for your feet. Used them in all types of weather conditions and they will keep your feet warm and dry. They are fairly heavy, so they're not that great to walk around in all day. Bring a second pair of shoes for after the ride.

stylish, but not practical
Bought these for my son. He liked the style, but the top is too loose, and the bottoms are smooth...not good for riding. Also, a bit stiff for shifting. Will be returning these ASAP.
