Red Wing Shoe Company
In 1905, Charles H. Beckman founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in the town of Red Wing, Minnesota. When the company first started, the boots sold for $1.75 a pair. It wasn’t long before business started to boom. In 1907, they were producing 100 pairs of shoes per day, but by 1915, production grew to 200,000 pairs of shoes a year. Not only were civilians wearing Red Wing shoes, soldiers in World War I were also issued Red Wings and the company later on manufactured more boots for soldiers in the U.S. Military. After gaining popularity all over the country, Red Wing expanded globally into Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, and some countries in the East. In 1985, the company expanded after production reached two million pairs. With over 150 styles, Red Wing Shoe Company had a shoe for every occasion.
Red Wing boots are built the Red Wing way. Every inch of their leather is inspected and graded for durability and flex. Then the premium leather is cut and sorted into pieces and inspected once again. The leather is then stitched together and shaped over a last to attach the insole, which is done primarily by hand. Then the sole is attached and the shoe is trimmed, cleaned, and treated and hand inspected once again for quality assurance. For almost one hundred years now, the Red Wing Shoe Company has been committed to quality, craftsmanship, durability, and comfort. That commitment carries on and is visible in every pair of Red Wing shoes.

New Justin Vintage Boots!
Over 125 years ago, a man named H.J. Justin moved his family to Texas to start a new life as a boot maker. His first customers were cowboys on their way to the Chisholm Trail. Since their origins, Justin boots has been the standard of the West since 1879. They’ve been known for making quality, durable boots that are both comfortable and stylish while still retaining the time-honored tradition of cowboy boots. H.J. Justin was a man dedicated to his craft, and that dedication still holds true today. His principles on boot making still remain; “no boot shall ever bear the Justin brand unless it is the very best that can be produced.” Today, Justin’s boot making expertise has made them famous world wide and for good reason. It was H.J. Justin’s wish that he leave behind “an institution which will uphold the standards and spirit of the true West.” I’d say that his wish came true.
Justin’s latest line of Vintage cowboy boots are truly made for walking. They’re perfect for completing any outfit, anytime of the year. Trend or not, Justin Boots can survive any fashion fad. They’ve been around over 125 years and they’ll continue to be around well into the future.
You can count on Justin for great Western, Casual & Original Work Boots. To find the true great western heritage of Justin boot making, look no further. Click here to view our selection of Justin Boots.
